Andy Karl Andy Karl has recently completed work on the ABC pilot Staties and the feature Faraway Eyes. His run on the highly popular Broadway production of Tim Minchin’s Groundhog Day (directed by Matthew Warchus) began with a sold-out run at London’s Old Vic. His performance as the now iconic Phil Connors has won Karl the Drama Desk Award, Laurence Olivier Award (both for Best Actor in a Musical in 2017) and landed him his third Tony nomination. In television, Andy is well-known for his one-year stint on the legendary Dick Wolf show, Law & Order: SVU, as Lieutenant Mike Dodds. Prior to that, Andy had a recurring role on ABC’s Forever and was seen opposite Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton in the feature film And So It Goes, directed by Rob Reiner. Additional screen cred- its include Joyful Noise opposite Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, and New York, I Love You. Other notable theater credits include winning the Outer Critics Circle Award and nominations for Tony, Drama Desk, and Drama League awards for his starring role opposite Kristin Chenoweth in the Broadway revival of On the 20th Century. For his critically acclaimed performance as Rocky Balboa in the Broadway musical Rocky, Andy Karl was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League awards. He also starred in the revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Drama Desk nomination), 9 to 5, Legally Blonde (ACCA Award), The Wedding Singer, Sat- urday Night Fever, Romeo and Bernadette (Carbonell nomination), Cats, Disney’s On The Record, and Tommy.
Megan Lawrence Megan Lawrence won critical acclaim on Broadway as Gladys in the Tony Award- winning revival of Pajama Game. She starred opposite Harry Connick, Jr., and garnered a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, a Drama League nomination for Distinguished Performance, and an Outer Critics Award Nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical. Most recent- ly, she starred as Louise in the Roundabout Theatre’s Broadway production of Holiday Inn at Studio 54. The show was also filmed live, shown on PBS’s Great Performances, and released in cinemas. She originated the role of Little Becky Two-Shoes in the Broadway and Off-Broadway productions of Urinetown and later went on to play the role of Little Sally. She made her Broadway debut as Eponine in Les Misérables and was seen as Claude’s Mother in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Hair. Off-Broadway she starred as Gloria Thorpe in the New York City Center’s Encore Series production of Damn Yankees with Sean Hayes and Jane Krakowski. Some of her other favorite roles include Lucetta in Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Delacorte Theater, Charlotte in Flora the Red Menace at Jason Alexander’s Reprise Company in Los Angeles, and Frenchy on the national tour of Grease. Megan began her career in her hometown of Baltimore and the Washing- ton, D.C., region. She performed often at D.C.’s Signature Theater where she won a Helen Hayes Award for her portrayal of Little Red Riding Hood in Into The Woods and was also nominated for Helen Hayes Awards for Marta in Company and Sally in Cabaret. She’s married to Kevin Kern and they have four kids together.
