All students will be required to complete a Housing Deposit/Damages Form during Orientation. You will need to complete a housing deposit/damages authorization form upon arrival. You will need to provide your credit/debit card information giving Florence University of the Arts authorization to charge the card for any damages that you cause to your apartment. Your deposit will be 250 euro. Please note: your information will be kept on file and will only be charged if there are damages. Inspections will be conducted throughout the session. The final inspection will take place the last week of the session. If any excessive damages (beyond normal wear and tear) are found, your credit/debit card will be charged. You will be notified by the Housing Department of any damages. If the damages exceed the initial 250 euro you will be informed and charged. It is important that you always report any problems through the MyFUA maintenance form immediately to eliminate any future disputes or issues.
