In August 2017 after acquiring the assets of AGRA and its key responsibility of coordinating the Group Racing Calendar, the new-look organisation known as the GCA was formed. Establishes California Greyhound Racing Commission to license and regulate the conduct of greyhound races by qualified greyhound racing associations. Once issued, licenses shall automatically be renewable for three-year periods unless revoked for just cause. The pari-mutuel method of wagering shall be permitted on greyhound races.
