Making A Quick Animation

Open Photo Booth in your Dock. Draw pictures 1 click there on a piece of paper (or to take a use clay or Legos or picture anything!) and take pictures of them as you click make them change a little Effects bit at a time. To take a picture press the red for more! button and the pictures will appear in the space below. To delete them click the x in the bottom left corner of the picture. Remember that you can also add Effects in Photo Booth with the Effects button.

Next open up iMovie. Click the + button to create a new project. Give it a name and for the Aspect Ratio pick Standard. Then click 2 on your project in the list and go to File > Project Properties and where it says “Ken Burns” make it say “Fit in Frame.”

Click here to 3 find your Photo Booth pictures Click the camera button to see your pictures and click on the iPhoto Button to choose Photo Booth. 4 Your pictures should appear in the window. Click and drag across them all (or click one and press Command + A to select All) and pull them up into your project window.

To shorten the length of the pictures, select them all (drag across them all or 5 click one and press Command + A) then click the icon in the bottom left corner of one of them and change the Duration settings to be something very short (like 0.3 seconds). Be sure that “Applies to all photos” is selected.

Now itʼs time to do your . Click the 6 microphone button and click at the beginning of your movie. It will countdown and then you just begin speaking in a clear loud voice. You are finished! Go to Share > Export Using QuickTime and choose your settings (see video).
