Page 2/8 Itinerary Entry/Exit point of Tour: Entry: Manglore Exit: Banglore Day 1: Manglore – Coorg ( 151 kms – 3 hrs 27 mins) On arrival at Mangalore airport/railway station, get a warm welcome by our tour representative who will guide you about the entire tour and drive you from Mangalore to Coorg, which is about three and half hour journey. On reaching Coorg in the evening, we will check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Afterwards, we will gather in hotel's in-built resultant to enjoy mouth-watering dinner along with a relaxing overnight stay.Coorg, popularly known as Scotland of India, is a wonderful place to refresh yourself. It is one of the famous hill stations of Karnataka that is blessed with abundant green areas and natural beauty. Day 2: Coorg Local Sightseeing In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for the local sightseeing tour of Coorg. We will start our day tour by paying a visit to the holy Omkareshwar temple located at Talacauvery. After exploring the beauty of this ancient temple, enjoy delicious lunch. Thereafter, get yourself away from the hustle and bustle of the city right in the lap of the nature at the stunning Abbey's fall and Raja's seat. Later in the evening, return back to the hotel for a stress bursting overnight stay.Omkareshwar temple was built by Lingarajendra II in Madikeri in 1820. The temple is designed in the Mumammadan style of architecture and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Abbey Fall is about 9 kms away from the town of Madikeri in Coorg. Located amidst of lush spread of coffee plantation, it is counted among one of the most beautiful water falls in Karnataka state of India. Day 3: Coorg After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to visit the Golden temple nestled near Kushalnagar in the region of Coorg. It is one of the biggest Tibetan monasteries of India and allows visitors to learn in depth about Tibetan religion and culture. After exploring the astonishing temple, return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. Day 4: Coorg – Kabini ( 110 kms ) After breakfast in the morning, we wiil proceed to kabini & check in to hotel. Take a wildlife safari into Nagarhole National Park. Wildlife slide show in the evening. Dine & bonfire in the night. Overnight stay at kabini. DAY 5 :- KABINI After breakfast, we will visit some tribal villages to learn about their unique culture and tradition. Also, the visit will provide an opportunity to interact with locals, who have friendly elephants. You can either choose to go for jungle safari or visit the major tourist attractions of Kabini. Later in the evening, we will return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. Day 6: KABINI TO WAYANAD ( 98 KMS – 2 hrs 25 mins ) After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad, on arrival check into the hotel. Visit to Banasura Dam and Spend the day at leisure. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the eight "hottest hotspots" of biological diversity in the world.[1][2] It is sometimes called the Great Escarpment of India.[3] The range runs north to south along the western edge of the Deccan Plateau, and separates the plateau from a narrow coastal plain, called Konkan, along the Arabian Sea. A total of thirty nine properties including national parks, wildlife sanctuaries and reserve forests were designated as world heritage sites - twenty in Kerala, ten in Karnataka, five in Tamil Nadu and four in Maharashtra.[4][5] The range starts near the border of Gujarat and Maharashtra, south of the Tapti river, and runs approximately 1,600 km (990 mi) through the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu ending at Kanyakumari, at the southern tip of India.
