Wildlife Tour, South India… 09 Nights/ 10 Days WILDLIFE TOUR, SOUTH INDIA… 09 NIGHTS/ 10 DAYS Bangalore - Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary – Coorg - Nagarhole National Park - Bandipur National Park – Ooty – Bangalore – Depart Day 01 Arrival Bangalore (now known as Bengaluru) Arrive Bangalore International airport. You will be met by a member of our team at the airport along with car and chauffeur and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day free. Bangalore the capital city of Karnataka and the Silicon Valley of India has emerged as the epicentre of the country’s IT industry. The city is well-known for beautiful gardens, amazing park and exquisite buildings. Lal Bagh Garden is a good example and not be misses. Day 02 In Bangalore After breakfast visit Bangalore which includes, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, famous for variety of old trees, roses and fountains. Continue to visit Cubbon Park and Mysore Arts and Crafts Centre. Later visit a beautiful colonial building, Vidhan Soudha which is now used for Govt. building. In the afternoon the visit will include Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bull Temple and St. Patrick’s Church. Night stay in Bangalore. Day 03 Bangalore – Mysore (Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary) – Coorg After breakfast drive to Coorg a place where the air is gently perfumed with coffee and cardamom. On the way, we will visit Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary in Mysore situated on a small island at the bank of the river Kaveri. You can see many kinds of birds such as egrets, herons and white ibis. The best time to visit will be June to October. After visit continue to Coorg for night stay. Day 04 In Coorg After breakfast visit Dubare Elephant camp and an island Nisargadhama formed by the river Kaveri. Continue to visit Madikery Palace (Madikery Fort) and Abbi Falls. In the afternoon we will visit Kushalnagar, largest Tibetan camp in South India. The last we will Visit the Tibetan Golden Temple. Return to hotel for night stay. Day 05 Coorg – Nagarhole National Park After breakfast drive to Nagarhole National Park, which is famous for Tiger, Wild Elephant, Leopard, Dhole and Gaur. In the afternoon enjoy a safari in the park. Night stay in hotel. Day 06 in Nagarhole National Park Whole day to explore the park activities. If you wish you can go for coracle ride at Kabini river to witness the hordes of elephants and many other animals. Night stay in hotel. In the afternoon enjoy jungle safari and all jungle activities. (timing 9am-18hrs) you can spot Tigers, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Indian Elephants, Dhole, Sambar, Chital many kind of birds. Bandipur National Park well known for largest habitant of Wild Elephants in South Asia and second highest Tiger population in India. The park is a part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and located at Gundlupet taluk, in the district of Chamarajanagar. The park shares its boundary with 3 other National parks, Wayanad National Park, Mudumalai National park and Nagarahole National Park. Night stay at the Bandipur. Day 08 Bandipur National Park - Ooty After breakfast drive to Ooty, known as the Queen of the Hills. It used to be the summer headquarters of the British East India Company. Ooty is nestled amidst the Nilgiri hills at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level and enjoys a favourable climate all year round. Ooty has an impressive colonial architecture which one can enjoy simply walking hours and hours. The highlights to ride the “Toy Train” and enjoy panoramic views of this beautiful hill station. In the afternoon you can visit Dodabetta, the highest point of Tamilnadu. If time allow you can visit Lamb’s Rock and Dodabetta Peak. Night in Ooty. Day 09 Ooty – Conoor – Ooty After breakfast ride the toy train to Conoor, witness the beauty of the valley and enjoy the smell of the nature which connect you to the nature. Upon arrival the driver will collect you at the train station and rest of the day dedicated to visit Botanical Garden, Laws Falls -a beautiful waterfall, viewpoint Dolphin’s nose and Ooty Lake. Return to Ooty by road for night stay. Day 10 Ooty – Bangalore and Final departure Depending on your flight, drive back to Bangalore airport and take connecting flight to onward destination.
