Gamepath has partnered with some of the largest brands in the world, to bring to life household intellectual property and produce first class immersive productions in the major markets across the world. Gamepath is owned by Selladoor Worldwide, a renowned UK theatre producer and theatre operator, founded in 2009. Selladoor Worldwide have produced iconic shows such as 9 to 5 The Musical, Jersey Boys, The Producers, Avenue Q, and Of Mice And Men, touring regionally across mid- and large-scale theatres, in addition to West End runs and international touring covering 4 continents. The Selladoor group is made up of Productions, Venues, Development, Desk Tidy Design, I AM Marketing and Gamepath is the newest addition, focused purely on experiential and immersive entertainment. Gamepath’s work encapsulates the best of escape rooms, combined with immersive theatrical magic, and innovative translations of much-loved titles in Covid-secure venues in London and beyond. Gamepath’s first production to launch in London this year is ‘Monopoly: Lifesized’ in collaboration with HASBRO, along with numerous productions in development for 2022, including other major iconic titles across the gaming and cinematic genres. This is an exceptionally exciting time to delve into this booming sector, as the gaming industry in the UK is projected to be worth an estimated £23bn by 2023, and the global table top board games market projected to be worth more than $12bn by the same year. Responding to the increased demand by consumers looking for alternative forms of entertainment, specifically different ways of experiencing classic board & digital games, and iconic film and TV brands, Gamepath will bring new audiences for live entertainment from the growing gaming sector, with a unique fusion of theatrical storytelling, thrilling gameplay and global brands. 2 About the Role: The Premises Manager is a key role for our new and exciting immersive entertainment venue located in the heart of London. The successful candidate will act as the linchpin between the different stakeholders in the building, from food & beverage to immersive activities. The Premises Manager will liaise with both the operators within the venue and represent the venue within the Selladoor Worldwide team, as part of their global offering of projects and Selladoor Venue's UK venue operations. The ideal candidate for the role of Premises Manager will require experience working in a fast paced venue environment, with complimenting departments, each with unique demands. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for keeping the venue up to the standards required of the relevant authorities, the company and the industry. The role will usually be site based and will occasionally require work on evenings and weekends where necessary, although the role is mainly designed to operate during normal working hours. Purpose & Responsibilities: The following section is intended to list the key competencies and responsibilities of the role, but is not intended to be exhaustive. It is anticipated that additional responsibilities will develop over time. Outline and develop venue policies in line with our Health and Safety, Fire Risk, Licensing and contractual obligations. Collate and circulate venue wide health and safety information and documentation. Ensure the venue is secure and well maintained to reflect our high standards, and promote a positive, professional and safe environment. Ensure schedules and inspection dates are met on time and manage any resultant maintenance. Liaise with venue departments to ensure they are aware of any statutory responsibilities or practices that need to be in place. Ensure daily and periodic checks are carried out and filed in a data centre by the departments, to keep in line with venue policies. Liaise with the superior landlord where necessary and maintain active communication with other tenants and stakeholders. Manage the venue maintenance and compliance budget, contracting agencies and service providers to carry our relevant work. Report to the Executive Management team regularly. 3 Person Specification: Requirements At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. A working knowledge of facilities management and compliance - with a focus on fire safety, M&E maintenance and F&B. Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a building. Experience working in public facing environments and the unique challenges of working in a venue open to the public. Interest in the arts and entertainment sector is ideal Some experience working with local councils, specifically relating to refuse collection and licensing. Some experience communicating with local residents and business groups as a venue representative. Preferred Any relevant qualifications, such as H&S and COSHH 4 .
