Patrick Boyle ’71 Honored by Life with Endowed Scholarship Fund

After 34 years at New York Life, Patrick Boyle, class of 1971 has retired. To mark this milestone, Pat’s colleagues at New York Life have donated funds to help endow a scholarship fund in his honor. Incorporating Pat’s love of the golf game, and his long standing support for CSHS, this scholarship partners with The First Tee of Metropolitan New York, a non-profit educational youth development program based at Mosholu Golf Course in the Bronx. The scholarship will benefit students at Cardinal Spellman High School who are participants in programs of The First Tee. “It is a wonderful feeling to be able to give back and help my alma mater, especially those that do not have access to golf. This program not only teaches students how to play the game but reinforces that dedication, sound values, and education are keys to success,” stated Mr. Boyle.
