UK Investment Banking Review First Quarter 2016 UK investment banking revenue in 1Q 2016 totaled $1.0bn, down 21% year-on-year. Deal volume from UK targeted M&A dropped 34% year-on-year to $49.3bn. The same trend was seen across fixed income, with DCM volume down 17% year-on-year to $77.1bn and loan volume down 53% to $41.8bn.
