SILENT AUCTION RULES
1. Each item offered in the silent auction will have a bid sheet on the table near the item. You may bid by writing your name and phone number on a line with a value.
2. You may bid on any item on any silent auction table until that table closes. Bid boards may not be removed from tables until the table closes. The last and highest bidder is responsible for purchasing the item. If you are the successful bidder, pick up the bid board and pay at the cashier’s table before leaving the building. Once the item is paid for, return to the table and hand your receipt to the table captain to pick up your item. No items will be given without the receipt.
3. If you want to guarantee your purchase, sign your name under the “Guarantee Bid” section of the bid sheet. This section ensures your ownership of the item.
4. Payment may be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED THE NIGHT OF THE AUCTION. All sales are final; there are no exceptions or refunds except where stated. Values set on auction items are estimates only and not warranted by Yakima Valley Tourism for tax purposes or general value.
