Schaller was co-founder and current President of Eta Sigma Gamma, a national health science honorary. He was a former President of the Mid-America College Health Association and of the American School Health Association, which gave him its highest honor, the William A. Howe Award, in 1981. A respected consultant, Schaller helped develop the Netherlands' first school of public health, was a World Health Organization Fellow and worked with health organizations in Israel and England. Telefund Activities Keep Ball State University Office, Volunteers Busy

Foundation Board of Directors Telefund season each spring creates a flurry of continuing activity for members of the Office of Alumni/Development Programs, as well as a corps of volunteers throughout the state of Indiana. From mid-March through mid-May, regional telefunds are conducted in numerous sites statewide, while students call trom a campus site Monday through Thursday each week.
