WELCOME PRESIDENTS WELCOME Welcome everyone to Adamstown Oval on this Mother’s Day weekend. On behalf of Adamstown Rosebud Football Club, I would like to wish all the mums a Happy Mother’s Day, especially our new mums who are celebrating their first Mother’s Day with our Club. On Saturday, our Youth Teams welcome Valentine Football Club in the Round 11 Youth clash. Round 10 saw Adamstown Rosebud FC have a successful day out against Lake Macquarie FC with 3 wins and a draw. Unfortunately Valentine FC had their Round 10 clash with Maitland washed out. Best of luck to all teams. On Sunday, we welcome the Newcastle Jets Youth, their Coach Labinot Haliti and Lawrie McKinna for the Round 9 Senior clash. Round 8 saw Adamstown Rosebud FC have a memorable ANZAC Day match against Hamilton Olympic, where 1st Grade registered their first win against Olympic in 5 years, U/20’s played out a 2-2 draw and the U/18’s 2-1 winners. Jets Youth had a very convincing 3-1 win over Lambton Jaffas. With both the U/18’s and U/20’s games being a top of the table clashes, and both 1st Grade sides coming off very good last round wins it should be an entertaining days play. We hope you enjoy your day at Adamstown Oval. 1 FFA Cup 2019 Competition Guide CONTENTS Page Information, fixtures, results 2 Clubs 5 History and records 25 FFA CUP Web: www.theffacup.com.au Facebook: facebook.com/ffacup Twitter: @FFACup The FFA Cup is a national knockout competition run by Football Federation Australia (FFA) in conjunction with the State and Territory Member Federations. A total of 737 clubs entered the FFA Cup 2019, a number that has significantly grown from the first edition of the FFA Cup in 2014, when 617 clubs entered. The FFA Cup 2019 started in February with the Preliminary Rounds to determine the 21 clubs from the semi-professional and amateur tiers. These clubs joined ten of the Hyundai A-League clubs (Western United FC will not participate in this edition) and the reigning National Premier Leagues Champions (Campbelltown City SC) in the Final Rounds. The FFA Cup Final 2019 will be played on Wednesday 23 October with the host city to be determined by a live draw. Each cup tie must be decided on the day, with extra time to decide results of matches drawn after 90 minutes, followed by penalties if required. At least one Member Federation club is guaranteed to progress to the Semi Finals. Previous winners of the FFA Cup are Adelaide United (2014 and 2018), Melbourne Victory (2015), Melbourne City FC (2016) and Sydney FC (2017). Broadcast partners – FOX SPORTS FOX SPORTS will again provide comprehensive coverage of the FFA Cup 2019 Final Rounds. The FFA Cup’s official broadcaster will show one LIVE match per match night from the Round of 32 onwards, while providing coverage and updates, as well as live streams, of non-broadcast matches.

Round 4 Saturday 30 March 2019 COOKS SQUARE PARK MAITLAND FC SPONSORS CONDITIONS OF ENTRY– Cooks Square Park NO ALCOHOL to be brought into ground. NO GLASS bottles permitted MFC is not responsible for cars parked inside ground. PARK AT OWN RISK. MAITLAND FC SPONSORS Email: [email protected] Facebook: Maitland Fc Website: maitlandfc.com.au Instagram: @maitland_fc Twitter: @Maitlandfc #maitlandmagpies #MFC WELCOME TO COOKS SQUARE A warm welcome today to Cooks Square Park to the families and supporters of both Maitland FC and Lambton Jaffas FC for what will be our first NPL home game for 2019 following the welcome, but untimely rain that caused Round 2 to be postponed. A warm welcome to our wonderful sponsors and to the “MOB” for our first Sponsor & Old Boys Day for 2019. We continue to be very proud of the condition of the playing field surface here at Cooks Square Park, thanks to the underground irrigation installed by Maitland City Council in 2017. As a result of our success with the NSW Asian Cup 2015 Legacy Fund, some well overdue infrastructure improvements have been completed. The new perimeter fence and player shelters have changed the look of the park and with additional seating and shelter, Cooks Square is much better prepared for some quality NPL football. Maitland Football extends congratulations to Jenny Aitchison, MP, for retaining her seat of Maitland in the recent State Election. We now wait in anticipation of the May Federal Election following the announcement from Meryl Swanson, MP, Member for Paterson, who secured a commitment from her Canberra Party Office to spend $1 million on Cooks Square Park provided Labor wins the Federal Election and Meryl Retains her seat.
