Aeros Was Joined By Members of Congress to Celebrate the Christening of 40D Airship SN 22

(Tustin, CA) October 16, 2014, Aeros and guests gathered in Tustin, yesterday to christen the Aeros 40D Airship ‘Sky Dragon.’ The politicians were out for this christening to support the California based company. The list was long with members of the US Congress (R-CA), (D-CA), Loretta Sanchez (R-CA), Linda Sanchez (R-CA), and (D-CA), California State Assembly Members Matt Dababneh and Travis Allen, and the Mayor of Tustin, Al Murray. All spoke to honor the company’s latest milestone and delivery of Aeros first airship to Mexico.

"The christening of Sky Dragon is an exciting and important event -- exciting because of its creative blend of old and new technologies, and important for global security and commerce. My congratulations to Igor Pasternak for designing and developing his dream into reality. May Sky Dragon be reproduced multiple times, to be seen overhead by Americans frequently in the future, and may the skies from Mexico to Kazakhstan be filled with his spectacular brainchild" said Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.

The Celebration opened with words from the members of Congress and closed with a prayer and christening of the airship by priest, Father Baca.

The airship’s owner and operator Grupo Toyan in Mexico will utilize the airship for multi-purpose applications like oil pipeline and power line monitoring. Earlier this month, the Aeros 40D “Sky Dragon” received certification from the government of Mexico. This is the first Aeros’ product to be delivered to our southern neighbors.
