Seann Walsh After This One, I'm Going Home SEANN WALSH AFTER THIS ONE, I’M GOING HOME ** RESCHEDULED TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED FOR SPRING 2019 ** “Comic gold” – The Guardian “A cracking good show” ****– The Telegraph “One of comedy’s hottest properties...very talented, very funny” - Evening Standard “He remains one of the most entertaining observational comics on the block” – The Independent “Observational mastery” – The Scotsman “Uproariously funny” – The Sunday Mirror Fresh from appearing on the 2018 series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing and making his US TV debut on Conan, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and self-proclaimed ‘Lie-in King’ Seann Walsh is heading back on tour with his brand new show After This One, I’m Going Home this spring. Original tickets for rescheduled dates are still valid and ticketholders should contact venues for more information. Tickets are on sale now and available from www.seannwalsh.com. “Unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation” (The Guardian), this dishevelled, fiery, animated, fiercely idle, millennial man-child is currently one of the UK's finest live comedians. Seann is a regular face on the small screen with appearances as team captain on Virtually Famous (Channel 4) and as a regular on Play To The Whistle (ITV). Other TV appearances include: One For The Road (BBC 3), Live At The Apollo (BBC 2), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Tonight at The London Palladium (ITV), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Alan Carr’s Chatty Man (Channel 4) and Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central). Seann will also soon be appearing on ITV2’s newest stand-up and sketch show The Stand Up Sketch Show as well as host of new Netflix game-show Flinch, alongside Desiree Burch and Lloyd Griffith. Both will debut over the coming months. Seann has quickly become a well-respected comedy actor, most recently co-starring in ITV1 sitcom Bad Move alongside Jack Dee. The hugely successful first series was broadcast in autumn 2017 and returns to ITV1 this September for a six episode series (Wednesdays, 8pm) and a Christmas special, which will air later this year. Other acting credits include starring in Comedy Central’s sitcom Big Bad World, Sky’s silent comedy Three Kinds of Stupid and he made his feature film debut in 2018’s family comedy 2:hrs, released in August 2018. He has also turned his hand to writing with his own Sky Arts Comedy Shorts Series in 2016 and he wrote and produced his very own comedy web-series The Drunk. • Seann Walsh 'Back from the Bed' Tour
SEANN WALSH ‘BACK FROM THE BED’ TOUR RESCHEDULED AND NEW TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED FOR 2021/2022 Tickets on sale now!! ‘Unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation’ – The Guardian “…hugely funny….deliciously entertaining” ★★★★ – The Times “A cracking good show” – The Telegraph “One of comedy’s hottest properties...very talented, very funny” - Evening Standard “He remains one of the most entertaining observational comics on the block” – The Independent Hello, Seann here. Did you know that the comedians have to write their own blurb? I find that absolutely insane. What am I meant to say? “I’m fantastic, come and look at me talk”? I don’t know. It’s me. I do stand- up. I guess I can start with the fact I renamed the tour. Sticking with ‘Same Again?’ felt a bit triggering after the year we’ve had. So it is now called Back from the Bed. Some of the material will be the same as I had always planned and some of it will be new because it will be difficult to avoid mentioning the last year in which millions of decent people tragically lost their lives to TikTok. The previous leg of this tour got a lot of standing ovations, which was pleasing. Either that or they were leaving early. Come along if you like me. I’d be confident enough to say come along if you’re on the fence. Cheers. Here are some things I’ve been on… Seann has starred in series 1-3 of The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Netflix’s Flinch, Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Tonight at The London Palladium (ITV), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Play To The Whistle (ITV), a team captain for Virtually Famous (C4), 8 Out of 10 Cats (C4), Alan Carr’s Chatty Man (C4), Hey Tracey! (ITV2), Comedians Solve World Problems (Comedy Central) and has made regular appearances on The Jonathan Ross Show.

  • 25 Years of the Premier League
Celebrating 25 years of the Premier League Introduction by John Fendley Getting Away With It Scarborough; nineteen eighty something. The ‘80’s kind of rolled into one for me until ‘89. For arguments sake let’s go with 82’. 8PM and I’m closing the kitchen door so I can listen to the second half of Liverpool’s latest foray into Europe. Back then you couldn’t watch. Listening was the only option; and for some reason you only got the second half. Don’t get me wrong, it was brilliant, I loved football on the radio, still do. If I’m lucky, the goals might be on Sportsnight. If not I’ll use my imagination. Point being - that football on TV back 03 in the greyties was in short shrift. Scarborough 1994. Monday Night and I’m round at my mate’s. For the record, the fact his dad has got Sky Sports is only a small contributing factor in our friendship. He’s a good lad. But back then “the dish” was a game changer. It wasn’t the norm. How many people do you know who’ve got an electric car? Thought not. Same question but change the car to a Sky Sports subscription – guarantee that in most homes not many hands would have gone up. If I’d had a set top box back then I would probably have added that information to my CV. Back to the football. Liverpool 3-3 United. This Monday Night Football could catch on. London 1996. Two years later and I am standing in the Sky Sports Canteen.
