We proudly announce the graduation of Brielle Jacynthe Anderson from Bengough School

-always with a snack -always spilling snack or coffee -practicing full dance routines during free time

Brielle is the daughter of Garnet Anderson and Brenda Brandt. She is one of the original five classmates graduating and the only girl in the group that has been with the group since Kindergarten. Brielle loves sports and has been heavily involved in Volleyball and Basketball from grades 6-12. She played Badminton from grades 6-11, participated in Track from grades 7-11, and Curled from grades 3-12. Brielle has been involved in a myriad of activities outside of school including piano lessons, dance, sailing with the North Oka- nagan Sailing Assoc, coaching power skating, and coaching in the Steve Nash basketball program.

Did You Know… Brielle has been working at Bengough Drugs since 2016. She lifeguards at the pool in the summer, babysits, and has been a volunteer firefighter with the Bengough & RM Fire Dept since 2017.

Brielle has been accepted to the University of and plans to CLASS OF pursue a career in Pharmacy! 2020 CLASS OF 2020

We proudly announce the graduation of Faith Louise Elizabeth Hagen from Bengough School

-falling for the pranks Stuart and Rainier would play on her; for example: ‘Did you study?’ -never without her morning coffee -cheerfully greeting the staff when she first saw them in the morning

Faith is the daughter of Blake Hagen and Tiffani Ellert. Her grandpar- ents are Ken and Ann Hagen. Faith joined the class in 2017. Faith moved from Coronach but has lived in , Waldeck and Regina as well. Faith has been involved in Volleyball for 4 years, Badminton for 2 years, Choir for 1 year and the Missoula Children’s Theatre for years. Faith’s extracurricular activities include recreational Soccer for 3 years and competitive Soccer for 1 year. She was involved with 4-H beef and light horse, softball and is a member of the community choir. She has worked at the Co-op for 3 years.

Did You Know… Faith is a volunteer at the public library where she does crafting with children and bulletin board decorating. Faith is very crea- tive, loves painting, drawing, and crafting. She likes to try different art projects! CLASS OF Faith plans to attend the Western Academy Broadcasting College in 2020 CLASS OF 2020

We proudly announce the graduation of Carson Lee Hoffart from Bengough School

-quick with movie quotes or ‘remember that scene in …’ -3 hole-punch Jim (Halloween) -ready to work outside on the first remotely nice day of April -dragging himself in after a late night of hockey, but still here despite being tired

Carson is the son of Carmen and Kimberli Hoffart. Carson has been with his class since playschool! He has been involved in elementary track and a short time in volleyball. His biggest ex- tracurricular activity is hockey, which he started in grade 1 and

still plays today. Did You Know… he remembers every line from movies but—as Mom says—can’t remember how to do his Math :) Carson’s future plans are to work full time, preferably on a farm.

We proudly announce the graduation of Logan Allan Kelly from Bengough School

-face turning red with laughter -talking about hunting or what he was going to shoot next -loves his truck and vehicles -enjoying those first period spares

Logan is the son of Jess Kelly and Bobi-Jo Adam. He has been with his class since grade 1 when he moved from . Logan has been involved in Bantam Volleyball, Bantam Basketball, Senior Badminton and Senior Volleyball. Logan’s extracurricular activities

include 4-H archery, hunting and fishing. He is an avid hunter and fisher. He will wake up at the crack of dawn to go fishing or hunt- ing but drags himself out of bed ten minutes before school!

Did You Know… Logan is on his fourth year working at the Co-op.

Logan intends to apply next year to Heavy Duty Ag Mechanics.

We proudly announce the graduation of Steven Patrick Kesslering from Bengough School

-seemed to be made of rubber when he was younger -always the tumbling demonstrator in K/1/2 PE

Steven is the son of Brian and Debbie Kesslering. Steven is one of the original students, being with this class since kindergarten. While at Bengough School, he was involved in Track and Field. Steven’s main focus in life has been his hockey. He started playing in Bengough at the age of 5. He played with numerous towns in minor hockey—Bengough, Coronach, , Moose Jaw and North . As a 15 year old, he played with the Moose Jaw Generals AAA Midget Team and he played with them for 2 years. As a 17 year old he played with the Junior A North Stars.

Did You Know… Steven was drafted by the Kelowna Rockets WHL team in 2017.

Steven’s future plans are to continue with his hockey career and farm CLASS OF 2020 with his dad in the off season. CLASS OF 2020

We proudly announce the graduation of Brooke Mckenzie Lee from Bengough School

-always with a smile and cheery “Good morning!” -having vehicle troubles, whether it be a flat tire or an alarm that wouldn’t quit going off -going about her day minding her business and being so quiet

Brooke is the daughter of Clayton and Keri Lee. She has been with her class since grade 5, when she moved from Quill Lake. Brooke was involved in in grades 6,7 and 8. She played Badminton in grades 7 and 8, Basketball in grade 9, Volleyball in grade 10. She participated in Track in grades 7 through 9, with her greatest accomplishment coming in grade 9, when she broke the Midget girls hur- dles record.

Did You Know… Brooke danced from the age of 4 until she was 12. She then start- ed barrel racing and still races today. Brooke competed in Saskatchewan High School Rodeo from grades 8 to 11. In grade 8 Brooke was in the top 4 barrel racers and the top 5 pole benders and was able to attend the Canadian High School Ro- deo Finals in Nanton, AB. She also qualified for the Jr. National High School Ro- deo finals in Lebanon, Tennessee. In grade 9 she was the Sask High School Rodeo season pole bending leader, and was among the top 6 pole benders to attend the Canadian High School Finals in Nanton, AB again. Brooke has won buckles at CLASS OF local barrel racings since she was 12 years old. Her future plans are to stay home and work on the ranch and continue with her 2020 love and passion for horses and barrel racing. CLASS OF 2020

We proudly announce the graduation of Rainier Diego Von Volke from Bengough School

-with the other 3 boys, doing strength contortions in Home Ec. while their food cooked -sometimes joining Stuart in singing Sweet Caroline -quizzing Stuart on the periodic table -creating great drawings and caricatures on the whiteboard in Math

Rainier is the son of Warren and Claudia Volke. Rainier has been with his class since Kindergarten. Rainier was involved in Track and Field in grade 9. He also participated in Mrs. Kesslering’s Dance club in grades 9, 10 and 11. Rainier’s extra curricular interest was piano which he was involved with from pre-kindergarten to grade 10.

Did You Know… Rainier deadlifted 350 lbs at age 16, can speak more than 3 languages, has ran kilometers on ice barefoot, has been sub- merged in +2c water for more than 8 minutes, and has summited Yamnuska (part of the Rocky Mountains).

Rainier has applied to Sask Polytech for the fall session. Rainier is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses; later he wants to spend his time volun- CLASS OF teering full-time to teach others about the Bible. 2020 CLASS OF 2020

We proudly announce the graduation of Stuart Olaf Whyte from Bengough School

-stealing Hayley’s pencil case or water bottle -singing Sweet Caroline -full of random facts “Did you know…” -memorizing the periodic table -that “deer in the headlights” look when either guilty or innocent of a prank

Stuart is the son of Cameron and Lori Whyte. Stuart has been with his class since Kindergar- ten. Stuart was involved in Track (2008) competing in 800M, 1500M, and 3000M. He partici- pated in Cross Country running in 2019,placing third. Stuart’s extra curricular activities in- clude Jr. Novice hockey in Bengough, Novice and Atom hockey in , Atom hockey in , Peewee hockey in Radville and Ogema, Bantam hockey in Assiniboia, Bantam and Midget hockey in Glentworth.

Did You Know...Mrs. Carol Whyte predicted that he wouldn’t graduate from Bengough School due to closures. Who knew that she would be right in this assumption, but we don’t think she meant it in this COVID state of affairs! There may be no formal graduation, but he will still have his diploma from Bengough School. He is also known for his “Did you know…” facts which he was hoping to use as his grad quote. He loves to mention the “skittles incident” and the “Delta D” scenario from physics class and the BTD4 in Pre-Calc 20 (balloon tower defense 4) that apparently all have meaning to his classmates and possibly some teachers!

Stuart’s future plans have changed in the past weeks. The plan was to continue working at the Co-op and apply to the U of S engineering program. However on May 25, Stuart was offered a position with the Royal Military College in their Army Engineer program. This entails 4 years CLASS OF of schooling and 9 years of service. Due to COVID-19, he will start online courses from home. When it is safe, he will be moved to the base in Ontario to start basic military training, possi- 2020 bly mid-August.
