Category- ‘India`s Top 3 Girls Day-Cum-Boarding Schools’ in a survey conducted by Education Today 2020-21.  RKK has been ranked No 3 in India, No.1 in Rajasthan & Ranked No.1 in Jodhpur in Girls’ by Education World India School Rankings 2020-21.

 Interact Club of RKK received Rotary Citation with Gold Distinction 2019-20 award for helping Rotary connect the world in the lives of people all over the world.

1 (A) ACADEMIC REPORT : 2019-20

(i) INTERNAL RESULTS : (For the Session 2019-2020)

 All students were promoted to next Class from Classes Nursery to Class XII. In order to have uniformity in the assessment structure, examination and issue of Report Cards across all the CBSE affiliated schools for Class VI to X, the syllabus and the assessment pattern as recommended by the CBSE is followed.  FOR CLASSES I TO V Grade Standard Grade Points A+ Excellent 90 and above A Very Good 80 to 89 B+ Good 70 to 79 B Average 60 to 69 C Satisfactory 45 to 59 D Not Satisfactory 33 to 44 E Needs Improvement Below 33 percent

 FOR CLASSES VI to VIII The assessment structure and examination comprise two terms – Term I & Term II. Each term will consist of 1 Periodical - a Paper – Pen test of 10 marks per subject. Note book submission is of 5 marks with thrust on timely submission and quality work. Subject enrichment activities are of 5 marks. Term end exams – Half Yearly at the end of 1st Term and Final Examination at the end of the II Term are for 80 marks each. Discipline (VI to X): The students will also be assessed for the discipline which is based on the factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respect for rules and regulations. Grading on Discipline will be done term-wise on a 3 point grading scale (A=Outstanding, B= Very Good and C= Fair).There will be issue of Report Cards for all the Classes at the end of each session.

 FOR CLASSES IX & X

Internal Marks out of 20 are sent by the school to the CBSE and there is Board Examination for 80 marks per subject in Class X. Each Periodical Assessment consists of a Paper Pen Test of 5 Marks and Multiple Assessment Methods of 5 Marks. For these 20 marks - three Periodicals of 10 marks each are conducted. An average of best two periodicals is taken. 5 marks are for Portfolio and 5 marks for Subject Enrichment Activity.

¤ Class : IX has Final Examination of 80 marks per subject. ¤ Class : X has Board Examination of 80 marks per subject.

Co-Scholastic Activities (Classes VI – X) : For the holistic development of the student, Co- Curricular activities in the following areas are being carried out in CBSE affiliated schools by the teachers and are graded term-wise on a 3 point grading scale (A=Outstanding, B= Very Good and C= Fair). The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork be the generic criteria for grading in the following co-scholastic activities.

a. Work Education – Work Education refers to skill – based activities resulting in goods or services useful to the community. b. Art Education (Visual & Performing Art)

c. Health and Physical Education (Sports / Martial Arts / Yoga / NCC etc.)

They also performed a Nukkad Natak showcasing Menstural hygiene awareness. It was a truly enriching experience for all the youngsters. A 95 KW Solar Electricity Plant was inaugurated by His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singhji. Honourable Inauguration of 20th Yuvrani Sahiba and Board of Governors were Solar -- January present during the historic moment when the plant Electricity 2020 became functional. The solar plant is a step towards Plant conservation of environment and energy.

The Akhthali and Club of January Rkkians were accompanied by Ms. Rajshree Budh Nagar, RKK 2020 Choudhary, the President and Ms Vidhi Shah, the Banar Road Secretary of Rotary Club. The girls were warmly welcomed by both the schools. They interacted with the students about the facilities they are provided in the school and the general problems faced by them. Celebration of Classes IV 26th January Students went to a resort for day long picnic. RKK endeavoured once again and joined hands Free with Rotary Club Padmini Jodhpur for free Distribution distribution of Sanitary Napkins and Masks of Sanitary manufactured under the tutelage of Project Shakti Napkins & 24th & 26th to the Marginalized Rural Women of . This RKKGPS Masks July 2020 service endeavour brought smile on the faces of under those women who are unaware about the use of Project Sanitary Napkins during periods and are impacted Shakti by financial crisis.

Events Date Remarks Boarders of VII -XII went to see a movie "Saand Ki 14th Aakh" on Children’s Day. In the evening DJ was Celebration of November organized for the boarders. They were served a Children’s Day 2019 sumptuous dinner and a cake especially prepared for them. Citizens of Jodhpur never thought of witnessing such a beautiful sunrise from . It was a theme walk to bring smiles that invited individuals to come and highlight a cause close to their heart. RKK’s team was an integral part of this Smile-o-thon. This was a step towards ‘Service to Humanity’ taken up by the school to move ahead with ‘Spreading Smiles’ for innocent kids born with cleft lips and palate disability. His Highness’s desire to start the event from the Palace showed his affection for Jodhpurites and his concern 17th Smile-O-Thon about Smile Train that works for underprivileged kids. A November Marathon beautiful Rangoli of Smile Train’s 20 years celebration 2019 made at Palace gate was an icing on the cake.

Zealous participation was witnessed by Police, Schools, NGOs, Clubs and Corporates. They came with different themes, showcasing their creativity, talent and concerns with the hope that the causes highlighted by them gets materialized. Each participant enjoyed colourful morning walk, pleasant weather, live music, different themes, chit chat with friends and refreshment. RKKians returned home winning prizes for their theme and taking message of ‘Touching Lives’ with new smile.
