On the local front, Ohsweken Speedway is set to drop the green flag on their season on May 17 th while other dirt tracks in the Golden Horseshoe have posted schedules of earlier opening dates. Mitch Brown and his teammates are hoping to start their season off even earlier by heading to a Patriot Sprint Tour race at Merrittville Speedway on April 27 th -an event that opens the Canadian portion of the touring series’ expanding northeastern US/Canadian schedule. The team planned to visit Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway to watch the two-day World of Outlaws show on May 3rd and 4 th but they may side step that event to participate in a Patriot Sprint Tour race May 3 rd at Black Rock Speedway, Dundee NY. They’ll be participating in Ohsweken’s pre- season practice sessions on May 10 th before heading to another Patriot Sprint Tour event at Woodhull Raceway in the Southern tier of New York State on May 11 th, On May 17 th they return to Ohsweken for the Friday night season opener before literally racing east on highway 401 for a Southern Ontario Sprints series race at Brighton Speedway the following night. The Brantford team rounds out the month of May with a three day racing weekend beginning at Ohsweken (May 24th), and two PST events first at Bradford (PA) Speedway (May 25th) and Eriez Speedway (Hammet, PA (May 26 th ).

2016 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Eriez Speedway, PPMS and Tri-City Speedway Bulletin (July 29th – July 31st) Technical 1. When mufflers are required, the only acceptable mufflers are the Schoenfeld # 14272735-78 and Schoenfeld # 112535, a complete schedule based list of where mufflers are required and is posted on the All Star website. Mufflers are not required at Eriez, PPMS or Tri-City. 2. TETHERS ARE MANDATORY. This includes axle tethers and “king pin to king pin” tethers. 3. W18 Hoosier tire is an option for competition in 2016. Please remember if you chose to start with this tire you must finish the night with this tire. As per Arctic Cat All Star rules, the tire you time trial with is the tire you will race with in your heat race and a- main. Cars in the dash, c-main and b-main may change from your qualifying tire to any tire specified in the Arctic Cat All Star 2016 rule book. 4. A maximum 2” removable wicker bill may be mounted on the rear edge of the center foil. Wicker bill must be 90 degrees to the top of the center foil. Built-in wicker bills or gurney lips will not be permitted. The maximum dimension of wicker bill may change periodically at the discretion of All Star Sprint Car Series Officials. Any such changes will be issued in writing prior to the even in which the change will be made. 5. HR-15 is not legal for ASCOC competition in 2016. Series Credentials 1. All teams (13) will be listed at the pit window.
