Day 01- Airport → Kalpitiya

At the airport you will be greeted by our representative and transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Kalpitiya (approx. 3.5 hrs.). Kalpitiya is derived from the Tamil name ‘Kalputti’, stemming from the words “kal” meaning stone and “putti” meaning elevation. The place was also known as Arasadi in ancient times, meaning "place of Arasa tree" in Tamil. The place was known as Calpentyn in the colonial era. Kalpitiya is known to be the best location for Kitesurfing in the country. The summer kitesurfing season is from May to October during the south west monsoon, while the winter season is from mid-December to mid-February during the north-east monsoon. Day 02- Kalpitiya

Take a packed breakfast and head towards the Kalpitiya beach for an exciting round of whale watching via a boat ride. Enjoy amazing sceneries and witness the majestic blue whales to the sperm whales and a diverse range of sea life including dolphins in all their playful glory! Return to your resort accommodation and spend the rest of your day unwinding and relaxing. In the evening you can opt to engage with water sports unique to Kalpitiya such as kitesurfing, water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling and scuba diving, to name a few. Day 03- Kalpitiya → Trincomalee

Enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the resort and prepare to transfer to the eastern region of Trincomalee from Kalpitiya (approx. 4hrs).

En-route, you will witness the Munneswaram Hindu temple in Chilaw. This temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and has been in existence since 1000 CE, where legend states this is where Lord Rama prayed to Shiva after ending the battle with Ravana, to succeed the sin of killing a Brahmin. While Sita did the Shiva pooja at Rameswaram, Rama did it in Munneswaram. Explore this huge collecting of five ancient temples filled with statues of the deities and maybe even offer the temples a fruit plate as offering to the god. Check-in to your accommodation in Trincomalee and spend the rest of the evening at leisure by the poolside or by the pristine Marble Beach nearby. Overnight in Trincomalee.

Day 04- Trincomalee→Pasikudah

Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel and transfer from Trincomalee to Pasikudah (approx. 2hrs). Pasikudah, meaning “green-algae-bay” is situated in the Eastern seaboard of between and the Indian Ocean, approximately 35 kilometers from the Town. The turquoise blue waters of the bay attract local and foreign tourists and surfers alike to this wide sandy place under the hot tropical sun to surf, swim or just frolic in the water. Many other activities are available from kite surfing, boogie boarding to surfing and sailing across in a canoe. Check-in to your accommodation at the hotel and spend the day at leisure enjoying the scenic views of the vast blue beach surrounding, or head on out to get your adrenaline pumping with some great water sports! Day 05- Arugam Bay

Enjoy your breakfast and prepare to transfer from Pasikudah to Arugam Bay (approx. 3hrs). Arugam Bay also makes a great base for several adventures in the surrounding locality. During the low season (November to April) it can get extremely quiet and many places close briefly altogether, but it can also be a serene time to visit, with few tourists and lush landscapes. Check
