Anil Kumar, Suryapet District-508212 has filed 2nd appeal dated 30-04-2019 which was received by this Commission on 02-05-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o The Tahsildar, Mothey Mandal, Suryapet District and 1st Appellate Authority / O/o The Revenue Divisional Officer, Suryapet Division, Suryapet District. The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 26-07-2018 before the PIO under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application: TSIC The Public Information Officer vide Memo. No. B/320/2020 dated NIL-02-2020 has furnished the information to the appellant. The appellant was not satisfied with the information received from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 02-02-2019 before the 1st Appellate Authority u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him. The 1st Appellate Authority vide Notice No. B/191/2019 dated 05-02-2019 has issued notice to the appellant and the Public Information Officer / O/o The Tahsildar, Mothey Mandal, Suryapet District to appear before their office for hearing on 16-02-2019 at 04:00 PM along with connected records. Further the 1st Appellate Authority has passed the order vide Proc. No. B/191/2019 dated 19-02-2019 with a direction to the Public Information Officer / O/o The Tahsildar, Mothey Mandal, Suryapet District to furnish the information directly to the appellant within (07) days. P.T.O Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required. ::2:: The appellant was not satisfied with the information received from the Public Information Officer even after the direction from the 1st Appellate Authority, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. The Appeal was taken on file and the case is posted for hearing over phone on 24-08-2020. On overview spread of COVID-19, the case was heard over phone on 24-08-2020. Both the parties were contacted on telephone. The Appellant was heard and submitted that he did not receive the sought information from the Public Information Officer. The Public Information Officer did not respond to the call when contacted by the Commission. The case was adjourned to 20-10-2020. The Appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 20-10-2020. The case is called on 20-10-2020. The Appellant is absent. The Public Information Officer / Smt A.
