Article II. The object of this Society is to promote the interests that are common to aU the State Socie- ties of Mayflower Descendants, which can best be served by a federal body, and more especially to secure united effort to discover and publish original matter in regard to the Pilgrims, to- gether with existing data known only to anti- quarians, thus honoring our epoch-making sires. Akticle III. All persons, over eigliteen years of age, who are descended from a passenger on the "May- flower," on the voyage which terminated at Plymouth, Wew England, in December, 1620, or from a signer of the "Compact," shall be eligible to membership. - They must be proposed, seconded, and elected.
