The Fourth of July 2020 (7/4/20) As Radio Deluxe celebrates the 244th birthday of the USA, we also celebrate the life of our friend Freddy Cole, who passed away a week ago today, at age 88. John & Jessica celebrate in isolation at the Deluxe Cabin by playing music appropriate for the Independence Day holiday, but they also revisit the time in 2011 when Freddy appeared on Radio Deluxe before a live audience at the Tanglewood Music Festival in Lennox, Massachusetts. Although crowds are discouraged from gathering this weekend, we encourage you to join your fellow deluxers for fun, feasting, and music by the lake, on the Fourth, on the radio.
