Update and Current Position Cllr Waterhouse reported on a meeting that he along with Chris Prescott, Stephen Millett and the Clerk had held on 19 January 2018 with Roy Newton, & Local Enterprise Partnership Transport Coordinator, Dr Pete Waterman OBE Chairman of the Local Transport Body and Philip Cox, Chief Executive. Open Forum The following was agreed

That the Clerk circulate the following a) Cheshire and Warrington Matters: A Transport Strategy to Support the 2017 Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) b) Transport for the North – Strategic Transport Plan c) Department of Transport – Proposals for the Creation of a Major Road Network Consultation It was agreed that each Parish Council should respond individually to this consultation. This information is available on Clotton Hoofield PC website click

That Mike Kosh (Stoke & Hurleston) and Mike Lloyd (Tarvin) should join the Core Group (A51 Joint Parishes) of Chris Prescott (Clotton Hoofield) Matthew Waterhouse (Calveley) and Stephen Millett.

That the Core Group should liaise between LEP and the Parish Councils as well as lobbying both Cheshire West and Councils.

That any Information (e.g. Counts etc.) held by the Parish Councils relating to A51/A55 be forwarded to the Clerk who would collate it.
