Northern Regional Conference Jessica Sauer This year’s Northern Regional Conference was the biggest one yet! Beginning the day with a delicious breakfast and a welcome from the Executive Council, the members of HOSA were gathered in the auditorium of Passaic County Technical Institute. After the introduction ceremony, the competitors were dismissed to their respective competitive events. After competitions, the members were able to attend the workshops (held by the executive council) and eat lunch. Once lunch was over, the members were introduced to this year’s keynote speaker: Alexandra Maye. She told an inspiring story about becoming a nurse. She inspired the audience to always stay determined and to believe in oneself. After Maye’s wonderful speech, the award ceremony commenced.
