O N E P E R F E C T D A Y I N Day 1

Morning Breakfast Marrakech Start your day with a traditional Moroccan breakfast and some freshly brewed mint tea

Bahia Palace Spend about 2 hours here admiring the beauty of . If you’re closer to the Marrakech , you can do that instead. This is a relaxing spot to start your day and get introduced to this chaotic city.

Jemaa El Fna Square & Souk Shopping From your first stop, you will walk here (~15 mins) along the small streets of the medina. The walk will show you a more traditional way of living and allow you to admire the complexity of this city. The souks surround the square so if you have extra time, shop! Afternoon

Lunch Spend some more time at Jemaa El Fna exploring the local food vendors and all the crazy options they offer. You if prefer a sit-down, opt-out for a cafe overlooking the square.

Koutoubia When you’re done exploring the square, walk over to the mosque and admire its beautiful exterior. It’s a short 10- minute walk and you cannot enter inside as a non-muslim. There is a small park outside worth a stop.

Jardin Majorelle You will need to take a short taxi from the Koutoubia Mosque area, as the garden & museum is located in the new part of town. You will be able to see a very different side of Marrakech in this area. Evening

Dinner Pick a place based on your cuisine likings and find a restaurant in the new town. Here you can drink alcohol much easier compared to the old town and it’s a completely different vibe.

Back to Jemaa El Fna The chaos of the square needs to be experienced during the day as well as at night. The night makes it much more mysterious, loud, and just simply crazy. If it’s too much for you to walk around, I suggest grabbing a tea on the balcony of a restaurant and watching the chaos from above.

Riad or Hostel Marrakech has beautiful lodging! Even hostels are ornate and offer some sweet rooftop views. End your busy day relaxing and enjoying what your stay has to offer.
