COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN ,

Notice is hereby given that Sedgemoor District Council has made the Sedgemoor District Council (Huntspill Energy Park Link Road) Compulsory Purchase Order 2018 under Sections 226(1)(a) and 226(3)(a) of The Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise Sedgemoor District Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purposes of delivering a new highway in connection with the development of the Huntspill Energy Park, which will contribute to the promotion and improvement of the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the Sedgemoor District Council's area.

A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen between 8.45am and 5pm Monday to Friday at the offices of Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, , TA6 3AR.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government c/o Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2PW before 6 November 2018 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
