Inside you will find the Top Ten Times for the 2004 Long Course Meter season (swims performed in a 50 meter pool) made on or before September 30, 2004 ~ and forwarded to the Records and Tabulation Chairman, Pieter Cath, by October 20th, 2004. Each LMSC is responsible for reporting the Top Ten Times, USMS national records, and world records achieved in its LMSC. The first line under each event (which is indented) is the current national record for that event and age group. An "NV" after a top ten time indicates that appropriate documentation has not yet been supplied and the time is Not Y.erified as a record. Each person (individuals and relay members) on this list is eligible to purchase a Tup Ten Patch with stroke segment. The person to send your order to is Thomas Gorman. Send $5 to Thomas at PO Box 43824, Richmond Heights, OH 44143, e-mail [email protected]. Additional stroke segments are $1.25 each. The first issue in this series is 2003-2004 Short Course Yards (swims performed in a 25 yard pool). Times and records considered for this Top Ten list must be made on or before May 31st and reported to the Top Ten Chairman by July 15th. The 2004 Short Course Meiers (swims performed in a 25 meter pool) list is the· final issue in this series of Top Tens. Times and records considered for this Top Teo list must be made on or before December 31st and reported to the Top Teo Chairman by February 5th. Once the SCM Top Ten is finalized, the official 2004 All American Roster will be produced. A swimmer/relay who has the Top Ten time in one or more event(s) in any one of the three courses qualifies for All American status. To order an All American Certificate and Patch, send a check for $5 made out to USMS to: USMS National Office, P.O. Box 185, Londonderry, NH 03053-0185. Those individuals performing the most first place times, in the most events, in their age group are awarded All Star status. All Stars will receive a special award from Kast-A-Way Swimwear, this year's event sponsor. All American (individual) and All Star rosters will appear in the May/June issue ofUSMS Swimmer Magazine. The USMS All Time Top Ten is available in all three courses. This publication lists the top ten fastest times recorded over the years in each age group and each event.     REPORTE DE NATACIÓN MASTER 2020 El año de 2019 fue mui auspicioso para la natación masters de Sudamérica, tuvieran dos grandes campeonato importantes para nosotros, el Mundial FINA de GWANDJU, na Corea del Sur, y el Sudamericano Masters en Asunción, Paraguay. Para cada uno delos está adjunto su reporte detallado, con los temas más importantes de los destaques de los nadadores de Sudamérica. En GWANDJU, la CONSANAT contaba con aproximadamente 200 atletas y obtuvimos 212 medallas hasta el 6° puesto, y 26 records sudamericanos, también debemos destacar al nadador Felipe Faron de 35 años que obtuve nuevo record del Campeonato en la prueba de 50 Libre. En GWANDJU también tuvimos la participación de equipos de Polo Acuático de Brasil y Argentina, La Natación Sincronizada estuvo representada por Colombia. Todos los resultados individuales y por equipos están reportada adelante en el reporte de Natación Masters. En Asunción el Sudamericano Masters fue realizado con la presencia de 778 nadadores, representando 113 equipes, 10 países de Sudamérica, 1 de España, 1 de Panamá, 1 de México. La parte técnica del campeonato fue también estupenda fueran obtenido dos records mundiales, en las pruebas de 200 M Mariposa mujeres con NORA RONAI 95+ de Brasil con el tiempo de 12:05.783, y en la prueba de 200 m Combinado Individual con el tiempo de 8:51.10 que fue por la primera vez que fue nadada por una nadadora de 94 años, las mismas atleta fue premiada también con las mejor marca técnica femenina del campeonato. La mejor marca técnica de varones fue para el nadador de Paraguay, RENATO PRONO 25 años en la prueba de 50 pecho con tiempo de 27.79, Además fueran 34 records sudamericanos Masters.

    By Dave Hamilton IRVINE, Calif.--United States Swim- ming's week-long Outdoor Nationals hyphen Olympic Trials were analagous to simultaneously holding the World Series in two separate cities, with the teams never facing one another. Or, allowing the Super Bowl to be decided on the basis of season-long statistics fed into a computer. Somehow, despite all the hype by the announcers, all the comparisons on the scoreboard and, most of all, in spite of the good intentions of the meet _ organizers, the Nationals just failed to live up to everyone's heightened expecta- tions. For the most part, though, it seems that the swimmers were the only ones not let down by the results and their quote failure to beat the Moscow times, unquote. While many seemed to forget that numbers alone do not make up for the shot of adrenaline generated by head-to-head competition, the swim- mers were well aware of the difference. ;i~i!ii~ii'~¸ i ¸¸¸ ~ i ~ ii iiiiiii~i!iiii~!i Racing for the world record is not the o same when you are in Irvine and your O best competition has swum their race a to week earlier in the Soviet Union.
