- INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION for categories Juniors and Advanced Novices and - INTERCLUB COMPETITION for categories Basic Novice B, Basic Novice A, Cubs, Chicks and INTERPRETATIVE.

INTRODUCTION

The 26th Sportland Trophy 2015. International Figure Skating Competition for Single will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2012, the Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Figure Skating as well as pertinent ISU Communications.

Participation in the 26th Sportland Trophy 2015. is open to all competitors who belong to an ISU Member, Rule 109, paragraph 1, and qualify with regard to eligibility, according to Rule 102, provided their ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 2 c) and d) and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109, paragraphs 1 through 5 and ISU Communication 1420 or any update of it.

Place of competition: Budapest Olympic Centre IceRink H1143 Budapest, Stefánia street 2. Rink is indoor, heated ice rink with a surface of 60 x 30 meters, located near the centre of Budapest.

All categories according to ISU rules and the New Judging System.

LEVEL OF THE COMPETITION: The 26thSportland Trophy 2015. is an international competition and part of the ISU Development Project No: 14-19.

3 ENTRIES: Competitors to Advance Novice and Junior categories must be entered through their Member Federation ( also open for clubs, which are members of National Figure Skating Federations, associated with the ISU). Entries for younger categories must be entered by clubs, which are members of National Figure Skating Federations, associated with the ISU. (The Organizer has a right to make exceptions and accept entries from clubs to Advance Novice and Junior categories too, and also from other organizations to all categories.)

Citizen / Residence requirements and Clearance Procedure: In accordance with Rule 109 of ISU Regulations and ISU Communication 1420 or any update of it, all skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must produce an ISU Clearance Certificate. All ISU members and clubs, which are members of National Figure Skating Federations associated with ISU, are invited to take part at the competition. Each member and club may enter 2 competitors in each category (2 males and 2 females). The organizing union and club takes right to enter more competitors.

In case of too many entries, the organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants. The maximum entries accepted will be 30 in each category.

Deadline for entries: All entries (competitors, judges, team leaders, coaches, other participants) are expected to be mailed to the organizers address not later than February 20th 2015. If it is possible, fax or E-mail entries are preferred.

With the entry forms, the “Program Content Sheet” for Chicks, Cubs, Springs, Debs, Advance Novices and Junior categories must be returned to the Organizing Committee in time. It is mandatory that the Program Content Sheet will be filled precisely by each Skater in English using terminology for the elements listed in the respective ISU Communication. ENTRY FEE

Single Skating with one program: 45€ Single Skating with two programs: 50€ INTERPRETATIV 45€ Each club has to pay for its participants:  50% of the total amount right after the entry form confirmation, by February 20th 2015.  The remaining amount has to be paid at the accreditation before the Competition (Cash Only).

In case of cancellation the competitor has to inform the Organizer not later than three weeks before the competition start. The competitor is included into the entry list only after a 50% pre-payment.

REIMBURSEMENT OF THE ENTRY FEE AFTER THE DEADLNE IS NOT POSSIBLE!

JUNIOR LADIES Short Program: Max 2 min 50 sec Requirements according to the ISU Technical Rules Single and 2012 and the respective ISU Communications.

Free Skating: 3 min 30 sec, +/- 10 sec In accordance with ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2012 and the respective ISU Communications.

JUNIOR MEN Short Program: Max 2 min 50 sec Requirements according to the ISU Technical Rules Single and Pair Skating 2012 and the respective ISU Communications.

CUBS I. GIRLS Age requirements: Cubs Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2004 – 30.6.2005 Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

CUBS II. GIRLS Age requirements: Cubs Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2005 – 30.6.2006 Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

CUBS BOYS Age requirements: Cubs Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2004 – 30.6.2006 Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

A well balanced CUBS Free Skating Program must contain: a) Maximum of 4 jump elements for Girls and Boys, one of which must be an Axel type jump. There may be up to two (2) jump combinations or sequences. Jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps, but only the two most difficult jumps will be counted. Triple jumps are not permitted. Any single or double jump (including Double Axel) cannot be executed more than twice in total. b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation), one of which must be a spin combination with or without change of foot (minimum of six (6) revolutions in total) and one spin with no change of position and with or without change of foot (minimum of six (6) revolutions in total). Flying entry is allowed. c) There must be a maximum:  for Girls one (1) which includes at least one 3 seconds long spiral position. The sequence will have a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only.  for Boys maximum of one (1) with a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only. Level explanation: For Cubs in all elements which, are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 2 will be counted. Any additional features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the Technical Panel. The Program Components are only judged in - Skating Skills - Performance/Execution The factor of the Program Components is 2.5

CHICKS I. GIRLS Age requirements: Chicks Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2006 – 30.6.2007 Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

7 CHICKS II. GIRLS Age requirements: Chicks Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2007 and younger. Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

CHICKS BOYS Age requirements: Chicks Skater is, who was born: 1.7.2006 and younger Free Skating: 2 min, +/- 10 sec

The same ISU Rules regarding judging, refereeing and the work of the Technical Panel apply as in Junior and Senior International Competitions

CALCULATION OF THE RESULTS: All results will be calculated in the new ISU Judging System. OTHERS:

INTERPREATIVE

Levels: A.) Born in 2003/2004/2005 Free program: 2 min. (10” bonus) In the program are allowed only 2 single jumps, not repeated and not in combination; 8

B.) Born in 2000/2001/2002 Free program: 2 min. (10” bonus) In the program are allowed only 3 single jumps, not repeated and not in combination;

C.) Born in 2000 and before Free program: 2 min. 30 sec. (10” bonus) In the program are allowed all single jumps, not repeated and not in combination. Attention: a program with other jumps means disqualification of the athlete.

Music: accept the vocal. Costums: according to the interpretation of the music-theme. Objects: allowed if transported only by the athlete and if strictly necessary for the Performance and not dangerous for the ice. Judges panels and scores – three judges as following: - judge only artistic value: jumps, spins, skating; - judge global value: global program; - judge only coreography-dance value: interpretation, posture, originality of program. Calculation of results: Results will be calculated in the new ISU Judging System.

EUROPEAN CRITERIUM TROPHY: 26thSPORTLAND TROPHY is associated with the European Criterium Tournament 2014/15 for Junior, Advance Novice and younger categories. Results of the Teams will count for competition of International Trophy of Figure Skating European Criterium. Individual points are automatically calculated for all skaters in every category and those are valid in the European Criterium Tournament in the same category. The age requirements and the special regulation for the European Criterium Trophy are published on the website of the EC: www.europeancriterium.eu.

JUDGES: Each ISU Member participating on the competition may enter one or more International or ISU Judge for different disciplines. Each panel of Judges in Junior and Novice categories will consist 5 judges and 3 judges in younger categories. Accommodation with full board in the HOTEL LION’S GARDEN **** will be covered by organizer from dinner on March 11th until lunch on March 15th 2015 or for the days when the Judge is on duty. Confirmation for Judges will be sent to each Member via fax or E- mail. 9 EXPENSES: Organizer covers the accommodation expenses with full board only for the confirmed Judges, nominated Technical Controllers and Technical Specialists in the Hotel LION’S GARDEN **** Expenses for accommodation and meals for Competitors and other Team officials will not be covered by the organizer. In case of a Member enter one or more International or ISU Judges, organizer covers the accommodation expenses with full board for a Team Leader or for a Coach for the days when the Judge is on duty.

PRESENTATION OF MEDALS

The first three best placed competitors in each event will be awarded by medals, diplomas and special presents, others by diplomas.

The Award Ceremonies will take place following the finish of the given category competitions.

DRAW

Please, be informed that the Draw will be held on the previous day of the competition concerned. Please be informed that only those competitors will be drawn for the competition whose entry fee arrived until the time of the draw of the given category. (bank transfer or personal payment at the venue is also possible).

EXPENSES  The organizer covers: – the expenses of competition, – organisation, – awards, presents, – and board & lodging only for judges on duty ! Travel expenses to and from Budapest, transfer costs to and from the Official Hotel and Airport will not be covered by the organizer.

 The expenses for rooms and meals, travel and transfer of the Team Leaders, Competitors and other Team officials will not be covered by the organizer and are on the account of the Teams.

MUSIC: Music will be played from CD player. Each competitor must deliver a CD with her/his program music(s) to the Organizing Committee Office immediately after arrival. The CD must be labeled by the name of the competitor, the club and category which he/she competes in.

LIABILITY: In accordance with ISU Regulations, Rule 119, all participants act on their own responsibility. Organizer will provide medical emergency aid during competition.

10 PROGRAM SCHEDULE – STARTING TIMES

Please, be informed that only daily starting times of the competition is fixed. Following the morning start the time schedule of the event is flexible, which means that in case of cancellations certain categories may start some time earlier than in the Preliminary Schedule. Please, be informed that all changes in entries and Preliminary Program might be followed at www.sportország.hu and in the ice rink on the information board.

ORGANISING COMMITTEE: The Office of the Organizing Committee will be located on the ice-rink and will be on disposal from Wednesday, March 11th until Sunday, March 15th during the whole event.
