Target Joins With the iTunes Store to Offer Exclusive

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Target today announced it's working with the iTunes Store to provide a special Target area on iTunes, www.itunes.com/target, for exclusive album content. The first album to be featured will be Pearl Jam's forthcoming ninth studio album, Backspacer. Scheduled for release on September 20, Backspacer will be available in the U.S. exclusively through Target, Target.com, iTunes, Pearl Jam's Ten Club website and independent retailers. Beginning today through September 20, guests who pre-order Backspacer on iTunes will receive an instant download of lead single "The Fixer." As part of the launch, Pearl Jam will also premiere their for "The Fixer" on iTunes as a free download.
