DAY-1: ARRIVE DELHI

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.

DAY-2: IN DELHI

Breakfast at hotel. Later leave for city tour of Old and .

Morning sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to the magnificent Red Fort, - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by the Mughal emperor . The construction of the Red Fort began in 1638 and was completed by 1648.Visit Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, - The largest mosque in India. Drive past Chandi Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city. Walk through Chandni Chowk to savor the ambience of an oriental bazaar

Afternoon continue with city tour of New Delhi. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Drive past India gate and Presidential palace. Also visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun – a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture Humayun's tomb is a grand affair, built by his widow who brought 300 craftsmen from Persia for this job. In the central domed chamber is Humayun's grave lying in isolated grandeur.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3:DELHI - AGRA (210 KM - 4 TO 5 HOURS)

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast leave for Agra. On arrival in Agra check in at hotel. Post check-in visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is the main attraction for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife . This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. (Please note- Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.)

Later visit the majestic Agra Fort. The Agra Fort began its life in the 10th century as a simple mud and brick fortress along the banks of the Yamuna river. Under (1564-1570s) of the Mughal dynasty it was rebuilt along the lines of its predecessor, which accounts for its irregular outer walls. Built principally as a military establishment by Akbar, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time, who lived in the fortress and died there - a prisoner of his own son. - Overnight at hotel.

DAY-4: AGRA TO JAIPUR (221 KMS – 5 TO 6 HRS)

Morning after breakfast leave for Jaipur visiting Fathepur Sikri (40 Kms) enroute.

Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s City of Victory, lies on a hill top almost 40 kms from Agra. To wander around the red sandstone courtyards of this World Heritage Site is to travel back in time to an Imperial splendour. The buildings at Fatehpur Sikri belong to a composite style of architecture with the predominating Islamic style cleverly blended with local Rajasthani and Gujarati styles, a melting pot of cultures. In its heyday, the city was a large and magnificent township. This is clearly visible even today, centuries after it was abandoned

Continue to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check in at hotel and overnight at hotel.

DAY-5: IN JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride till the main entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. After photo stop at Jal Mahal, Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory Visit the Sheesh Mahal.

Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Drive past Hawa Mahal(Palace of Winds) & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight at Jaipur

DAY-6: JAIPUR – DELHI (250 KM, 4 TO 5 HRS DRIVE)

Morning after breakfast check out and drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi check-in at your hotel.

DAY-7: LEAVE DELHI

In time transfer to airport to connect your flight for onward journey.
