DAY 01 - 08 NOV (FRI) - SINGAPORE AMMAN | JERASH | AMMAN

Today, we will drive north of Amman to visit Jerash, the best example of a roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. You will visit the Hadrian’s Arch, Hippodrome, Colonnaded Street, Cathedral, Jerash Archaeological Museum, North Theatre and South Theatre.

DAY 02 - 09 NOV (SAT) - AMMAN | MT. NEBO | MADABA | DEAD SEA

Jordan’s capital is a safe, friendly, and modern city. The old city is dominated by the ancient Citadel with its Byzantine Church, The Temple of Hercules and The Umayyad Palace. Amman was known in the Old Testament as Rabbath Ammon and in Greco-Roman times as Philadelphia. You will also visit the Amphitheater and the Archaeological & Jordan Folklore Museums and the Citadel.

Your next visit follows in the steps of Moses. It was from Mount Nebo that Moses looked out and saw the Promised Land. There is a memorial for Musa (Moses) and a 4th century church which Italian Franciscan priests excavated and restored in 1933. The panoramic view overlooks the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem.

After that, continue to Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaics.” Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. The floor is covered with Mosaic Map built in 1896 AD, over the remains of a much earlier 6th century Byzantine church.

Continue the drive to the Dead Sea and check in Kempinski Hotel for one night.

DAY 03 - 10 NOV (SUN) - DEAD SEA | KERAK | PETRA

Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth (1,373ft. below sea level) and the largest “natural spa” in the world. Spend some time in the morning to enjoy the Dead Sea views, float in the mineral-rich waters, do a Dead Sea mud bath, or try the many spa facilities. (Spa treatments are available but not included in your tour price.)

In the late morning, we drive along the famous ancient biblical caravan route the king’s way towards Kerak (krakmoba) (kier Moab). It is the ancient, biblical capital of the Moabites, which the bible mentioned several times and it became well known for the visitors for the famous crusaders castle that was built in 1132/34 by the famous king Baldwin the first of Jerusalem, visiting the castle and enjoy the amazing undergrounds halls, and the castle museum.

In the afternoon, we continue driving south to Petra and check in Mövenpick Petra Resort for 2 nights. Tonight, enjoy a night walk of Petra and be immersed in the mystical atmosphere.

DAY 04 - 11 NOV (MON) - PETRA

Today, we will spend a whole day exploring the Red Rose City Petra. First established sometime around the 6th century BC by Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Despite successive attempts by the Seleucid king Antigonus, the Roman emperor Pompey and Herod the Great to bring Petra under the control of their respective empires, Petra remained largely in Nabataean hands until around 100AD, when the Romans took over.

You may want to go on a horse back to the and then by foot until you reach the Treasury. Our guide will give a brief history of the city. You will also see Pharaoh’s Castle, the Triumphal Arch, and the Amphitheater before returning to your hotel.

Tonight you will enjoy a private chef table dinner in the Al Baraka Tea Room.

DAY 05 - 12 NOV (TUE) - PETRA | WADI RUM

This morning visit Little Petra (Siq Al-Barid), which shared a lot of similarities with the main site. It also shows the most important features of Beida and is where many religious activities were held, including the Feast of Drink, when the king of the hosted celebrations and provided drinks for his guests. Visit the cave with the remains of a painted by the Nabataeans that represented grape vines, which confirmed the view that Beida was the area of wine production. We will also see the Nabataean irrigation system, which distributed water through long channels, reservoirs carved into the rock, and dams, is evidence of the greatness of this system.

Drive to Wadi Rum, where your adventure in the desert of Lawrence of Arabia awaits. Ride a 4x4 jeep to the heart of the desert to see as Lawrence puts it in his book “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” – “Echoic and God Like” mountains. History lies in the mountains with Thamudic inscriptions and figures that are dated to the 7th BC. Then we drive to our camp, where we will enjoy a BBQ dinner and overnight in a Bedouin Tent.

Evening, you will experience stargazing in Wadi Rum Desert, the observatory gives visitors “a unique window into the heavens”, it can view stars and planets up to 1.5 million light years away from earth.

DAY 06 - 13 NOV (WED) - WADI RUM | MASADA | JERUSALEM

After breakfast at the Bedouin Camp, we will drive to South Border /Arava Border for border crossing to Israel. We will then drive along the Negev Desert to Masada. Learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car.

Visit the Qumran Cave on the northern shore of Dead Sea where the famous Dead Sea Scroll was discovered before we arrive Jerusalem in the evening, check in Walforf Astoria for 3 nights.

DAY 07 - 14 NOV (THU) - JERUSALEM

This morning enter the Old City and visit the Garden of Al Aqsa Mosque seeing the Mosque of the Dome of the Rock (Entrance to the mosque is restricted to Muslims only). Walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, and continue to the Christian quarter.

Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Visit the church of the Ascension, visit Pater Noster Church, the Dominos Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem, then on continue to visit the Garden of Gethsemane, Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s Tomb, Room of Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey.

DAY 08 - 15 NOV (FRI) - JERUSALEM

Start the day with a visit to Eim Karem to visit St John the Baptist Church and Church of Visitation. Continue to New city of Jerusalem, visit the Israeli Museum, the Shrine of the Book where the dead Sea scrolls are displayed, and the Holy Land Model during the times of Jesus Christ. View the Israeli parliament on the way when we drive to Bethlehem where Jesus was born; Visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square; View the Shepherds’ field before going back into Jerusalem for dinner.

DAY 09 - 16 NOV (SAT) - JERUSALEM | TEL AVIV SINGAPORE

In the early morninig, enter the old city and walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher.

After that, we drive to Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Also known as the “White City”, Tel-Aviv was declared by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site for its Bauhaus style buildings. Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian mall of the city where you can enjoy live street music, arts, crafts and handmade jewelry.

Start the tour with Old Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the Artist’s Quarter. Continue to see the UNESCO “White City” Stop at Rabin Square, place of assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street specially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance.

DAY 09 - 16 NOV (SAT) - JERUSALEM | JERICHO | NAZARETH | SEA OF GALILEE

Say Farewell to your fellow travelers and drive to visit Jericho, the oldest town in the Holy Land, visit the Sycamore Tree (Zacharious the tax collector climbed the tree to view Jesus), and view Mt. of Temptation, Drive along the Jordan River to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Basilica of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. visit Mary’s well & springs, then onto Cana to visit the Church of Cana, where Jesus done his first miracle ‘’the transformation of water into wine’’.

DAY 10 - 17 NOV (SUN) - SEA OF GALILEE

Tiberias, the lively resort town on the Sea of Galilee. Drive along the Kineret Lake to Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught; Continue to Tabgha and visit the Church of Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes with the beautiful mosaic floor. Proceed toYardenit , the famous baptismal site located where the Jordan River flows out from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea. Enjoy the peaceful and natural surrounding on site.

Stop at Rabin Square, place of assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Continue to Old Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the Artist’s Quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian mall of the city where you can enjoy live street music, arts, crafts and handmade jewelry.
