Karen opened the meeting with introductions, and reminding the members that the Coalition minutes can now be found at www.4countysuicideprevention.org There were no corrections.

Old Business

General General Fund: Financial Report: Tonie 1. Tonie reported that the coalition funds had been transferred to the Board. The amount transferred 1. Ending balance L. from MVGC was $2,412.45 of the FCSPC General fund is 2. Tonie reported that the coalition was named as a memorial recipient for a youth that had died by $3,012.45 suicide. The total funds received from this were $600.00

3. The total available in coalition funds were now $3,012.45 Mental Health 1. Karen reported that the following Mental Health First Aid Trainings were completed since March, 2019. 1. Karen/Billie Jo 1st Aid: report will continue to update the by Karen Defiance College Youth nd Defiance 2 session in April members on VonDeylen. MHFA trainings.

Karen reported the following pending trainings currently scheduled:

 Defiance College - Youth(2nd session April 3, 2019)  Public Training in Defiance (April 13, 2019)  NAMI - Youth(May 7, 2019)  JDC – (2) Youth trainings (June 12, 2019 & June 19, 2019)  Fulton County Sheriff Dept (TBD)  Christ United Methodist Church Youth (May 10, 2019 Open to the community)

May is 1. Tonie discussed the currently airing MHA PSA’s on all 4-county radio stations 1. Tonie will keep Mental the coalition Health 2. Tonie Invited providers to film short videos in support of MHAM. The videos will be posted on the updated Awareness coalition FB page. Kerry Gearhart agreed to participate in a video. Month

New Business:

Announcements/Discussion

Tiffany R. Tiffany announced the next Fulton County JFS “Family Fun Day”. She invited those who are interested in participating to contact her.

Karen V Discussed the program Parent Café’s which offer parents and opportunity to learn from and support each other. The Cafes’ are run by MVGC and will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday in May in Bryan and Napoleon, and the 1st and 3rd Tuesday in June in Wauseon.

Kerry G Announced an upcoming training on Trauma Informed care (Train the Trainer) called “Trauma in the Classroom” offered through the ESC

The next FCSPC meeting will be held on May 23, 2019 at 7:30 am at the ADAMhs Board.
