Swift led Nebraska in receiving as a redshirt freshman in 2005, and last season helped Nebraska set single- season passing records. The 6-2, 200-pound Swift enters his junior season with 67 career receptions for 1,015 receiving yards. His 67 receptions are tied for ninth place on Nebraska’s career receptions list and he became just the 14th Husker with 1,000 career receiving yards in the Cotton Bowl against Auburn. Swift played in all 14 games with two starts in 2006, and finished fifth on the team in receptions. He concluded the year with a catch in each of Nebraska’s final 11 games.
