Recruited as a Cobra soldier, Dawn was immediately put under intense experimentation by the Cobra elite in order to see just how valuable she could be to their nefarious plans. It was during one of these experiments that Dr. Mindbender, utilizing his Brainwave Scanner, accidentally implanted the memories of the original (and now-deceased) Snake Eyes into Dawn’s fragile teenage mind, pushing the girl to her mental limits, and causing her to escape on her own. Now, as a haunted Dawn struggles against visions of a dark past that does not truly belong to her, Snake Eyes’ longtime ninja comrades from the Arashikage Clan, led by Granny Demon, have joined together to help Dawn overcome the waking nightmare her young life has become. After a bloody attack against red ninjas in Japan, Dawn faced off with one of Snake Eye’s deadliest adversaries: FIREFLY! A vicious fight followed, with Firefly fleeing rather than facing defeat. Now, with Dawn in pursuit of Firefly -- and the G.I. Joes SITREP and Detective Harada in pursuit of Dawn -- the battle rages to an explosive conclusion!
