VISITORS DIRECTIONS TO ARUP MELROSE ARCH
Arup occupies 4 floors in the Melrose Arch precinct, at no 10 High Street. High Street runs through the precinct between the 2 main entrances off Corlett Drive and Atholl Oaklands Road (shown by the red arrows on the map overleaf). The Arup premises are located between the intersections of Crescent Drive and Whitely Road.
As a visitor to Arup in Melrose Arch you will make use of the normal basement parking used by shoppers, underneath the Arup premises. This parking is accessed via Parking Entrance 1, which is clearly marked from Melrose Boulevard of 44 Melrose Boulevard. You may access Arup from the parking basement lift lobbies where you will be able to use the intercom provided to speak to a receptionist and gain access to the lift lobby. You may then take a lift to the Arup reception situated on Level 1 at No 10 High Street. This floor houses all of the meeting rooms and other visitor-related facilities.
Visitors may also access the building in a similar fashion from the street level lift lobby off the corner of Crescent Road and High Street, next to the Edgars store.
When leaving, visitors parking in the normal retail parking may present their parking ticket for validation at Reception. This validation will allow exit from the parking without any further charge within a 15 minute window.

FROM JOHANNESBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (EAST) VIA CORLETT DRIVE OFFRAMP FROM M1S: • Take the R24 towards Johannesburg. • Take the N3 North to Pretoria, signs at the Gilooley's interchange. • Take the M1 South to Johannesburg, signs at the Buccleuch interchange. • Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp. • Turn right (west) towards the Wanderers and Rosebank. • Turn left (south) between the Toyota and BMW - into Melrose Boulevard. • Turn right at the robot, into Whitely road. • Turn left into High Street. • Arup is at No 10 High Street, the light brown building on your right, just before the Edgars store (corner of Crescent Drive and High Street). Visitors may enter the parking basement via Parking Entrance 1 in Melrose Boulevard of 44 Melrose Boulevard. Then follow the instructions overleaf.
FROM PRETORIA (NORTH) VIA CORLETT DRIVE OFFRAMP FROM M1S:
• Take the N1 highway towards Johannesburg. • After passing through Midrand, continue on the M1 South to Johannesburg via the Buccleuch interchange. • Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp. • Turn right (west) towards the Wanderers and Rosebank. • Turn left (south) between the Toyota and BMW - into Melrose Boulevard. • Turn right at the robot, into Whitely road. • Turn left into High Street. • Arup is at No 10 High Street, the light brown building on your right, just before the Edgars store (corner of Crescent Drive and High Street). • Visitors may also enter the parking basement via Parking Entrance 1 in Melrose Boulevard of 44 Melrose Boulevard. FROM JOHANNESBURG (SOUTH) VIA ATHOLL OAKLANDS OFFRAMP FROM M1N: • Take the M1 North towards Sandton. • Take the Atholl Oaklands off ramp off the M1. • Turn left into Atholl Oaklands Drive towards Corlett Drive and the Wanderers. • At the 2nd traffic light, turn right (north) into Melrose Boulevard, leading into the precinct. • Proceed along Melrose Boulevard, and turn left into High Street. • The Arup premises are located between Crescent Drive and Whitely Road. The Arup building, No 10 High Street, is a light brown building above the “Edgars” signage - the building on your left just after you passed the Edgars store. • Visitors may also enter the parking basement via Parking Entrance 1 in Melrose Boulevard of 44 Melrose Boulevard. Then follow the instructions overleaf.
DIRECTIONS FROM PARKING ENTRANCE 1 to Arup Reception on Level 1, 10 High Street
• Enter parking Entrance 1 from Melrose Boulevard underneath 44 Melrose Boulevard • At the bottom of this ramp, turn left and follow the road straight ahead. • Collect a parking ticket and proceed through the boom. • Proceed to a T-junction. • Turn right into area with purple stripes on the pillars. • You will see an orange lift lobby straight ahead marked “10 High Street”. • Park in this vicinity and proceed by foot to the intercom station at the lift lobby entrance. • Press the Up-Arrow or Down-Arrow till it displays “Arup Reception”. • Press the CALL button. • A receptionist should answer your call and open the door for you to enter the lift lobby. • Proceed via lift to Level 1. • When leaving, remember to present your parking ticket to the Arup receptionist for validation.
