Don Abney - Junior center from Marshallt own. Heighs only 150 pounds but knows how to handle the bigger boys.

Homer Bienfang - Stepped up from the 11 B11 squad near the end of the 1947 season. A vicious blocking back. Stan Brown - Sophomore end from Missouri Valley. He broke into the lineup occasionallY l ast year and should be one of the top candidates for the end positions.

Walter Case - A rugged 185 pound guard from Kingsley. Strong on blocking and defensive work, he should see a lot of action this fall.

William Cribbs - A letterwinner in 1945. He is a big back who never seems in a hurry until he has the ball. Paul De Van - Leading scorer in the North Central conference last fall. De Van was also given honorable mention on the AP Little All- American team.

Dick Gant - Regular center in 1947. A 185 pounder from Hawarden, he is a junior playing his third year as a Panther. Elvin Goodvin - Starting his third year as a regular.
