Hon’ble Chief Guest Shri Sunil Ambekar ji, Hon’ble Guest of Honour Dr Payal Mago ji, Hon’ble Guest of Honour Dr. J. P. Sharma ji, Hon’ble University Representatives, Governing Body Prof. Ashok K. Prasad ji and Prof. S.K. Muttoo ji, other distinguished guests, colleagues, parents and my dear students, I welcome you all to the 46th Annual Prize Distribution Function of our college. I am pleased to welcome our Chief Guest Shri Sunil Ambekar who is a social activist and presently the National Organising Secretary of “Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)” the leading student organization in with 3.2 million members and a strong presence in almost all districts of India. Shri Sunil Ambekar has played an important role in India’s student movement with focus on issues related to education, social justice, national security, economy and played a key-role in many national campaigns including the Agitation against Bangladeshi Infiltration and Youth Against Corruption (YAC). He is currently leading the organization’s initiatives on Educational reforms with policy focus on National Education Policy. Shri Sunil Ambekar strives for the goal of national reconstruction through students, whom ABVP considers first as today’s citizens and then tomorrow’s leaders. True to this motto ABVP has provided leadership to various domains ranging from politics to economy and educational sector to social organizations. Sh. Sunil Ambekar travels across the country meeting various stake holders of educational sector, motivating students and interacting with a wide range of people which include industrialists, artists and professionals discussing issues of national importance and sharing his experiences. He has visited Peking University, NUS Singapore and almost all state & central universities and premier institutes like IIT, NLU, AIIMS, IISER, to name a few. Shri Sunil Ambekar through his active mentorship of World Organization of Students and Youth (WOSY) regularly interacts with international student community in India. He played a pivotal role in leading youth intervention in Indo-Nepal relations over a decade now and was part of the three-member delegation to China on the invitation of CAIFC under International Department of Communist Party of China.

Shri Sunil Ambekar holds a Masters degree in Zoology with specialization in Cytology from Nagpur University. He joined ABVP in 1983 and became a full-time worker for the organization in 1990 holding various responsibilities and became the National Organising Secretary in 2003.

I welcome our Guest of Honour Dr Payal Mago, Principal, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women (University of ). She is also Joint Dean Academic Affairs and Projects (University of Delhi) and Joint Dean of Colleges (University of Delhi). She is member, standing committee of MHRD to look into the working of Women’s Studies. She is member of standing committee of University of North Bengal for the Centre for Women’s Studies. She is member of advisory committee, Women’s Studies at Stella Mary’s College, Chennai. She is a former member of Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. She is member Academic Council of Sikkim University, Gangtok, Sikkim. She is Visitor’s nominee to Central Universities of Haryana and Sikkim. She is a Member of Court, University of Delhi and Maharishi Dayanand University. Dr Payal Mago initiated the reputed Erasmus Project at Silesian University, Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava, Czech Republic in 2018. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Botany with specialization in Microbiology and Plant Pathology from the University of Delhi in 1994. She earned her M. Phil. Degree in Botany from the University of Delhi ion 1990. She holds M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Delhi (1989). She was a recipient of UGC CAS Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship(SRF) from 1991 to 1995. As a scholar of repute, Dr Payal Mago has extensively published Papers in Referred national and international Journals. She has presented a number of papers in Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums. She is the distinguished author of eight scholarly books on Botany, environmental issues, and intellectual property rights.

I welcome our Guest of Honour, Dr. J. P. Sharma who is Joint Director (Extension), Indian Agricultural Research Institute, . He has a vast experience of 32 years conducting strategic research, guiding, teaching post graduate students, conducting national/international training programmes and carrying out agricultural development interventions at national level. He earned his Doctoral degree from IIT, Delhi and Post Graduation degree from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He was awarded Fellowships from IIT, Delhi and UNDP, respectively. He is an accredited entrepreneurial motivational trainer. He has handled 13 institutional and 19 externally funded research projects; designed and developed innovative extension approaches like IARI-Post Office Linkage Extension Model (Krishi Dak), Cyber Extension Model, Expert Systems, E-learning Module, National Extension Programme, IARI-VO Partnership Programme, Innovative farmer led extension delivery system (IFLED). Many of his research findings became government priorities. He developed linkages with top national and international organizations to formulate collaborative extension/research projects. He has been engaged in postgraduate teaching for over 28 years, taught 11 postgraduate courses, guided 20 students as Chairman/Co- Chairman/Memeber, Advisory Committee.

He was nominated as a member of Sub-group VII under Working Group on Agricultural Research and Education for XIIth Plan of erstwhile Planning Commission, working group on agriculture technology sharing (ATS) formed during the G20 meeting of Agricultural Chief Scientists, Core Group Member in National programme on "Scientific Validation and Research on Panchgavya (SVAROP)”. He is member of important committees like Academic Council, Board of Management, Extension Council, Research Advisory Council (RAC) of the Institute. He has been nominated as member of RAC & QRT of several ICAR Institutes. He is the Chief Editor of Journal of Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development and Editor of International Journal of Applied Science and Humanities, Asian Journal of Extension Education, Journal of Agri Science, Egypt.

He has published more than 300 papers in reputed journals, magazines and newspapers, published 30 books/bulletins. He has organized more than 100 trainings as Course Director on the topics of national relevance. He made scholarly presentations in 55 national & 30 international fora and organized/participated in more than 100 exhibitions/farmers' fairs. Dr. Sharma has contributed immensely as Secretary, International Federation for Women in Agriculture and as Founder President, Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development. He is coordinator of Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (Govt flagship scheme), Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (MoHRD), Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Krishi Shiksha Yojana (MoA&FW). He is Honorary Fellow of Society for Plant Research & Andaman Science Association. He has received more than 60 awards including Dr Rajendra Prasad Puruskar and Hari Om Ashram Trust Award of ICAR, Rajbhasha Gaurav Puraskar of Ministry of Home Affairs, Shanti Prasad Goel Memorial Award, Manthan Award – South Asia and Dr. G. S. Vidyarthi Award for making outstanding contributions for the upliftment of the farming community. I extend a warm welcome to our Distinguished Guests Prof. Ashok K. Prasad and Prof. S.K. ANNUAL SPORTS REPORT 2018-19 Sports and games play an important role in our day to day life. Our college has been constantly maintaining a tradition of excellence in games and sports. In this academic session too our college has continued this practice and maintained the excellence of previous years. This year our college teams participated in different inter college tournaments of athletics, badminton, boxing, body building, chess, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, football, Power Lifting and wrestling.

Sports Department is committed to provide all facilities for students i.e. sports kit, refreshment, sports equipments, experienced coaches, better playing environment, cash prize for outstanding sportspersons. Sports Department promotes games and sports in college. The Sports Committee comprises the following faculty members of the college: Dr. Deepika Agrawal (Convener), Dr. Shashi Bhushan, Ms. Parul Kumar, Dr. Jagbir Singh, Mr. Nirajan Mahto, Mr. Mohit Kumar, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Mrs. Hemlata Rathore and Dr. Kunal (Members).

INTER COLLEGE DELHI UNIVERSITY & All INDIA INTER-UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONSHIP In body building Mr. Pramod Kumar of Pol.Sc.(H)3rd yr.has won gold medal in Delhi University inter college championship in below 80 k.g. weight category and he also got selected for All India Inter- University Body Building Championship.

Another student of our college Mr. Abhishek of B.A. (Prog) has won gold medal in 55 k.g, Greco-Roman wrestling and got selected for All India Inter-University Wrestling Championship. Mr. Shivam of B.A. (Prog) has won bronze medal in 61 k.g. Free Style category in Delhi University inter college championship.

Mr. Aman Sonker of B.A. (Prog) got 4th Position in Power lifting inter college Championship and Mr. Vivek Kumar of B.A. (Prog) and Mr. Yashwardhan of B.A (Prog) got Bronze Medal in 64 and 81 Kg category in Boxing, respectively.

It is a matter of pride to share the achievement of our college student Mr. Kuldeep Kumar of B.A. (Prog) who got selected in PARA- OLYMIC JUDO championship. He also participated in various National and International Para Judo championships. Mr. Yashwant Kumar B. A. (H) History participated in 7th National Blind Judo Championship in below 50 Kg category.It is inspiring to note that in this academic session our visually challenged student represented our college at different state and national level championships.

Our Sports Department motivates students to participate in various sports activities throughout the year. Sports Department conducted the Annual Sports meet on 21-22 Feb 2019 as well as the Unity Run on 31st October 2018.

26th March 2019: The college NCC unit organized its Annual event ‘Shaurya 2019’. This event was organized at the Directorate level, with cadets and students from different colleges of the University of Delhi participated in the competitive events and demonstrations related to NCC and the Indian Army. DRAMATICS SOCIETY Convener - Dr Dharmendra Kumar Members – (Late) Shri Akhilesh Yadav Amir Shamim Dr. Anuradha Disha Pokhriyal Dr. Hemlata Rathore Dr. Medha The Dramatics Society of Satyawati College (Eve) has been a space of exploration and creativity. Like each year, in 2018-19 the Society invited students to participate in the almost 8 week long workshops in College from 10:30 am -1:30 pm.

The Society was deeply saddened with the demise of its mentor Shri Akhilesh Yadav in September 2018. He was a constant source of inspiration for the theatre workshops and the preparation of the performance. The workshops from 24 August- 5 September, 2018 were conducted by him. These resumed in October, 2018 till 5 November, 2018. The workshops began again on 29 January, 2019 and ended on 6 March, 2019. In the academic year 2018-19, a team of 30 students came together and through theatre exercises and improvisations, brought on stage plays and improvisations on the lives of students and the issues existing in society:

1. 5 November, 2018 - ‘Akhbaar mein Naam’ (adaptation of a story by Yashpal), and ‘Aakhir kab Tak’ (play developed through improvisations) were performed. Sh. Manish Saini and Sh. Sunderlal Chabbra, theatre-in- education experts, contributed to the making of the plays. 2. 6 March, 2019 - ‘Ek Chor ki Kahaani’(adaptation of a story by Shrilal Shukla) was performed. Sh Dipendra Rawat, a theatre-in-education expert contributed to the workshop through a 5-day session with the students.

These workshops and plays were designed and directed by (Late) Shri Akhilesh Yadav along with Amir Shamim and Disha Pokhriyal. Our alumnus Lalit Bharti contributed towards the music. The society, in collaboration with the Arts and Culture Society of the College, also conducted a three-day workshop on Photography on 3rd, 4th and 5th April 2019. Noted photojournalist Ranjan Basu interacted with and guided the students to work with DSLR cameras and navigate issues of light and focus. This workshop with the students was possible due to the support of Dr Tarakeshwari Negi. The overall creative functioning of the society was sustained through the encouragement and support of the convener, Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, Ms.Tarakeshwari Negi and the enthusiasm of our students.

28th January 2019: A seminar on Civil Service Examination was held in collaboration with Unique Shiksha to give valuable insights to the UPSC aspirants.

28thJanuary 2019: In a group discussion organised by the Society, Pankhuri Singh, Shubham and Bharti Thakur were adjudged as the best and promising speakers.

1st and 2nd March 2019: “Jashn-e-Mubahisa”, the two-day 2nd National Hindi Parliamentary Debate was organized. It witnessed a participation of 24 teams from different universities. The running trophy was awarded to Hindu College (University of Delhi), which secured 1st position. Lady Sri Ram College for Women (University of Delhi) became the runner-up at 2nd position. The semi-finalists were (University of Delhi) and IGNOU. 14th March 2019: Tark-Manch also organised the annual bilingual debate competition in collaboration with Delhi Public Library. The winners were:

15th March, 2019: A seminar and book launch programme was held for Dr. Ranjana Rani Singhal’s book Punarjanma Mimansa. The keynote speaker was Dr. Ramanath Pandey, M.S. University of Baroda. Prof. Venus Jain from Amity University was the Guest of Honour. 3rd and 4th April, 2019: The Society’s annual festival ‘Swaroop 2019’was organised. It included activities like Quiz, Extempore, Poetry, Rangoli, Group dance, Singing and Fashion Shows and witnessed wide participation from 38 teams across various universities. The events organized and initiatives taken by this Society opened the minds of the students to newer ways of thinking. I am thankful to the convener, Dr. Ranjana Rani Singhal and the office bearers of the society for their contribution towards the smooth functioning of the Society.

ENGLISH LITERARY SOCIETY The English Literary Society, Elysium, has been an integral part of the students’ lives in College, helping them to understand and interact with what they study through a range of engaging events and seminars.

15th January 2019: ACP Ishan Bhardwaj was invited to address the students on the topic‘How to Tackle UPSC with Commerce’. Mr. Piyush Gambhir, a faculty at Vision IAS institute clarified the syllabus and the doubts of our students.

Subsequently, a session on ‘How to Earn Money in Stock Market’ was organized with Dr. Vinod Kumar from SGND Khalsa College and Dr. Raj Sethi Nangia from . They discussed realistic examples and approaches that function in the stock market.

11th Feb 2019: Quizzard 2K19 was organized, with a participation of 30 teams. Our chief guests Dr. Vinod Kumar and Dr. Raj Sethi awarded the students with their blessings and cash prizes.

5th April 2019: The society conducted an industrial visit to Diamond Footcare Udyog Private Limited, Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Students interacted with the workers of the company, learning about the manufacturing process, and the leadership and management skills.

11th April 2019: Impulse 2K19, the annual fest, will include events such as Brand Buzz, B-rangers, Mr. and Miss Entrepreneur and Product Hunt. The winning students will be awarded cash prizes. Dr.Sunita Priyadarshini will deliver the vote of thanks.

12th April 2019: Commerce Society will organize a Farewell cum valedictory session for the final year students of the Department.

These events would not have been a success without the active cooperation of all faculty members of the Department of Commerce.

21st February, 2019: Ecoshastra organised its Annual Fest ‘Arthcarni 3.0’ with a variety of events including Caesar’s Congress (Debate Competition), Kaun Banega Economist (Quiz Competition), PUBG Tournament, and Economics Treasure Hunt.

The fest was followed by a Sufi Night and an Alumni Meet. Ustad Abdul Hamid Sabri, considered as one of the finest Sufi vocalists of modern era enthralled the audience. The Alumni from 2010-2017 batches discussed their experiences and challenges in choosing and progressing in their career.

5th April, 2019: A lecture on ‘Sustainable Development’ was delivered by Prof. R. B. Singh, HOD, Department of Geography, University of Delhi and Shri Saurav Kumar Shah, IPS. Prof. Singh has profusely written and spoken in the area of environment and climate change. Shri Shah has wide ranging experiences in the matters of policy formulation and implementation.

The students also received information about the working of the National Archives.

26th September, 2018: The Department organized a one-day tour to the Institute of Archaeology at the Red Fort to see the findings from the Copper hoard site at Sinauli, Baghpat. The Institute also organized a workshop for the students and arranged a visit to all the monuments, museum and library inside the Red Fort. 11th January, 2019: Students and Faculty visited the World Book Fair, New Delhi. 5th March, 2019: A visit was organised to the archaeological sites of Lakshagriha, Gurukul and Pandava Tunnel at Barnavat, the post- Harappan excavation site at Sinauli, Baghpat and a Jain temple at Baraut. 7th March, 2019: An interdisciplinary seminar on the ‘Relevance of Gandhi in Contemporary Times’ was held to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of . Prof. Abha Singh, Dr. Santosh Rai and Dr. Janmejoy Khuntia shared their ideas on the topic. 4thApril, 2019: A Symposium was organised on the ‘Golden Phase of History: Change and Continuity’. 8th April, 2019: The Department organised a visit to the National Archive to see their Exhibition on the Kumbh Mela The Department is thankful to all the teachers and the students for their enthusiastic participation in all the programmes.

POLITICAL SCIENCE SOCIETY The Political Science Department of Satyawati College (Evening) has been an academically engaging department. The Community Radio (CR) team led by Project Officer Dr Rameshwer Singh and member Dr Medha organized an Orientation programme on 4 October 2018. Shri R. K. Singh, former Coordinator, Delhi University Community Radio (DUCR) and former Chief Engineer, All India Radio was the main speaker. He enlightened the students on the technical aspects of CR including editing, writing, programming, broadcasting etc. Shri Isaac John, Deputy Coordinator, DU Community Radio also interacted with the students as resource person. The SECCR team also organized a well attended screening of the film Andhadhund on 31 January 2019 in the auditorium, followed with a discussion. Mr Atul Kumar Singh has been named as the Best Volunteer of SECCR for the year 2018-19. The SECCR Studio in the college is accessible to students through the year. A number of students were engaged in developing the skills of voice modulation, recording and editing in the SECCR Studio. These companies have selected around 25 students from our college as interns and the final placement is at an average stipend of Rs. 5000-7000 p.m. The events organised by the Cell are outlined below: 25th September, 2018: “Jaipuria Quiz League”, in collaboration with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida.

Forthcoming: 23rd April, 2019: ‘Job and Internship Fair 2019’ will be held and more than 20 companies will be participating in this fair and recruiting our students.

An awareness march was also organised to create awareness about eco-friendly Holi. 2nd April, 2019: A talk on environmental issues was held, where our speakers Dr. Rajiv Kumar Verma and Dr. Faiyaz A. Khusar highlighted the importance of dialogues about nature.

Akshat Sharma made a special contribution by making posters regularly and helping in the promotional activities of Eco Club. The teachers, office bearers and volunteers of the Society contributed to make each event successful. FDP ON ‘GENDER SENSITISATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS’ A one-week FDP on ‘Gender Sensitisation and Human Rights’ was convened by Dr Manjeet Bhatia, Director, Women’s Studies and Development Centre (WSDC), and Dr Prabhat Mittal, Programme Convener, Satyawati College (E), from 15-21 October, 2018.

Participation was varied and interdisciplinary, and the sessions are outlined below: The keynote was delivered by Professor Indu Agnihotri, Centre for Women’s Development Studies, New Delhi. She outlined the historical development of women’s rights, growing inequalities, and cases of increased intensity of violence directed at women.

Dr Deepali Bhanot spoke on ‘Widows and Human Rights’ and the biases against widowed women. She also spoke of women’s right to dignity, financial independence and property control.

Dr J. Khuntia lectured on ‘Informal Economy and Gender’, focusing on how homemakers play an important role in the economy and the future benefits of government policies and policy-making.

Dr Sadhana Arya shared her views on ‘Human Rights and Sexual Minorities’, sensitising the audience about the various issues of the LGBT community and biases and prejudices against it.

Professor Ashok Acharya spoke on the theoretical debates and shifting perspectives around Human Rights, views of political philosophers, and the historical development of the ‘theory of rights’. Dr Monika Banerjee spoke on ‘Women’s work and Care Economy’, outlining the decline in female participation in the labour force, and the necessity of adopting universal quality full-day child care provisioning. Dr Manjeet Bhatia spoke on ‘Empowerment through Legal Interventions’, emphasising on economic independence for every woman and unravelling the social prejudices within women’s consciousness. Dr Ajita Rao described various attacks on the Dalit community, including rape and brutal exploitation of the Dalit women and lack of adequate protection from law enforcers for the community. Dr Bijayalakshmi spoke on the PNDT Act and the condition of girl- children in Northern India’s villages. She stressed on the necessity to protect the girl-child. Dr Namita Ranganathan shared the conceptual framework, definition and scope of the term ‘sexual harassment’. She stressed on the effective implementation of the Internal Complaints Committee. Dr Meena Panicker elaborated on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013, different cases dealt with under this Act and mandatory constitution of the ICCs in colleges.

Dr Punam Bedi, along with Dr Panicker and Dr Ranganathan, conducted a two-hour session on ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace: Legal Interventions’. Dr Anup Dhar addressed the area of ‘Women and Mental Health: Human Rights Perspective’, explaining how voices of women have been silenced, prevalent unethical prescriptions of psychiatric medicines, and the need to ‘feminise’ mental health sciences, moving away from andro-centrism.

Dr Bharat Singh spoke on the difference between ‘Gender’ and ‘Sex’, stressing that participation of women in the economic sphere would help with development of the economy. Dr Rajiv Verma highlighted the concepts of ‘rights’, ‘human rights’ and ‘fundamental rights’, the genesis of the term ‘women empowerment’ in 1948 Human Rights Declaration and UNIC on women. Dr Tanvir Aeijaz began his talk with the socially constructed sense of Gender and moved on to addressing the term ‘Feminism’ with its varied complexities. The Principal, Satyawati College (E), Dr Vijay Shankar Mishra shared his concern over unreported cases of sexual harassment and exertion of pressure on the victim in society. The participants too shared their learnings and made presentations on related themes. The FDP was possible because of the cooperation between the WSDC, University of Delhi and Satyawati College (E), University of Delhi, along with the support of co-conveners Dr Amrita Kaur, Dr Simran Chadha, Dr Jagbir Singh and Ms Neelam.

25th March 2019: The Centre organised a workshop on ‘How to make Career decisions”. The chief guest was Professor N.K Chadda, former Professor in Department of Psychology. 7th March 2019: The Unit organised an Open Mic competition on ‘Objectification of Men and Women’. This provided a platform to the students to share their views and participate actively in the event. The winners were awarded mementos and certificates. 2nd April 2019: A One-Day Self Defence Training Camp for girls, in collaboration with DUSU and ABVP was organised in the college ground. The female students were taught various techniques of self- defence for emergency situations and to build their confidence and strength. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL The Equal Opportunity Cell, Satyawati College (E) has been working for the differently-abled students, addressing their education needs and making their learning and growth smooth by providing them equal opportunities. In view of this, the Cell made available assistive devices such as recorders and laptops to the visually-challenged students. 15th January, 2019: Lohri was celebrated with the PwD students along with various skill enhancement competitions.

15th February 2019: The EOC organized, for the very first time, an inter-college competition ‘Utsah’ with solo singing, group singing, quiz and extempore competitions, receiving participants from more than 30 colleges of Delhi University.

The sustained cooperation between teacher-coordinators and student volunteers helped make the EOC’s events successful in the 2018-19 session. Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board NCWEB Centre, Satyawati College (Evening) The NCWEB Centre of Satyawati College (E) with its 45 faculty members teaches the B.A. (P) and B. Com (P) courses.

With more than 1100 female students, the Library of the centre has a collection of more than 922 Books. 78 of our students secured 70% or more marks in their respective subjects in the First and Second Year Examinations.

26th December, 2018: Cultural and Sports Day celebrations along with Rangoli and Mehandi Competition, Group and Solo singing competition, Solo Dance competition, Poster making and Essay writing competition. The students also participated in the activities organized by other institutions: 12th-14th February, 2019: Udaan Cultural Programme was held in the University of Delhi. 31st March, 2019: An interactive session was organised on the topic of ‘Transgenders’ and on ‘Environment Concerns’. The speakers for the session were Ms. Shalini Srinath, Ms. Deepika and Dr. Nitish K. Mahto. LIBRARY COMMITTEE The college library has added 1300 new books on various subjects to its collection. The library subscribes 6 journals of various disciplines, 1 journal for blind students namely Reliance Drishti, 22 magazines and 23 newspapers for dissemination of information among the students and teachers of the college.

In a recent initiative, the library subscribes the Indo – NVD software (a screen reading software with 14 voices in 10 Languages) for visually handicapped students. The library has started the PayTm facility to pay fine online for books return after due date. Library also organised a lecture on "Mobile Library Service: Big ideas in small devices" by Prof. M. Madhusdhan. The library is also renewed the membership of N-LIST programme, which is funded by MHRD under NME ICT to extend access to selected e-resources to colleges. Towards the digitisation of the library, 3 library staff member namely Ms. Momina, Mr. Sanjeev Gola and Mr. Chandan Ram have taken the computer training which is organised by Delhi University Library System. Library has also recruited 4 library staff on contractual basis to provide better library services to the library users. Dr. Hari Mohan Sharma, the convener of the Library Committee as well as Library In-charge with other members of the Library committee and Library Staff put in all possible efforts to improve the library service in the college.
