How to get to Strasbourg from the airport:

From (suggested route 10 minutes) Walk to Aéroport to take the train. Take the train TER 830843 towards Strasbourg. After 8 minutes train ride, get off at Strasbourg train station.

From (suggested route 3h00) From the airport take the Bus 91.10 it runs between Paris- and Massy-TGV station. The bus departs at the Airport’s South: entrance C, stop 5 or West: entrance H. Ticket: Ticket costs: €2. N.B. Please keep the ticket for reimbursement. Travel Time: 35-40 minutes. Get off at Massy TGV Train Station Take the train from Massy TGV Train Station to Strasbourg Gare Centrale (about 2 – 3 hours train ride) - Get off at Strasbourg Train Station.

From Paris Charles-De-Gaulle (suggested route 2h00) From the airport reach the train station Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV located Terminal 2. Take the train from Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV to Strasbourg Gare Centrale (about 2 hours train ride) - Get off at Strasbourg Train Station.

From Airport Karlsruhe/ Baden Baden (suggested route 2h00) From the airport take the bus 285 (BBL) – about 20 minutes - and get off at Baden-Baden Bahnhof (station) to take the train. Take the train RE 63387 towards Offenburg, be aware that depending on the time, the number will change. 20 minutes train-ride until you need to get off in Appenweier. At Appenweier train station take the TER 87456 Strasbourg and get off at terminus Strasbourg Train Station (about 25 minutes). Ticket: Ticket costs: €6,60

From Basel Airport (suggested route 1h50 minutes) Go to Basel Train station and then take the train to Strasbourg: From the airport take Bus number 50 to Basel Bahnhof SBB (approximative duration 17 minutes). In the train station Basel SBB take the train TER 96236 Strasbourg. It takes about 1h 20 minutes to Strasbourg Station.

From Frankfurt Airport (suggested route 2h30) To reach Strasbourg by train from Frankfurt, you will have to combine two trains. Depending on the hour, train numbers may vary, but the name will stay the same. Take the ICE 201 Basel SBB train station at Frankfurt am Main Flughafen until Karlsruhe Hbf. This trip lasts about 1 hour. Take the train TGV 9570 Paris-Est for 41 minutes and get off at Strasbourg station. Check the prices and schedules here to avoid future problems. A one-way ticket starts at 60€ only one way.

Name badges: Delegates will receive a name badge at the registration desk at the entrance of the conference room. Please make sure to keep them visible and have them for the entire event to be able to access the venues.

Day 1 21st November: From your Hotel to Agora – Council of Europe (suggested route 30 minutes)

Security Important Note: At least 30 minutes should be reserved for entering the building. Participants will be directed to the conference room from the main reception. Please also keep a passport or ID card with you to enter the Council!

1. Walk from the Hotel to the Tram Station Musée d’Art Moderne (4 mins walk) 2. Take the Tram B towards Hoenheim Gare and get off at Parc du Contades. 3. Take the Tram E towards Robertsau Beocklin and get off at Droits de l’Homme. 4. Walk 1 minute to reach the Agora Building of the Council of Europe.

Ticket: You can get a single ride for €2 (which includes public transport connection in one direction) or return tickets “Aller- Retour” for €3,30 for a return the same day.

Day 2 22nd November: From your Hotel to Maison de la Region Grand-Est (suggested route 20 minutes)

Cultural Evening 21st November

We invite you to join us for a ‘Cultural Evening’ on the eve of the 21st. We offer dinner and a theatre play will be performed by LADDER’s cultural partner Progettarte. The evening will take place in the wonderful Villa Quai Sturm. Please confirm your participation in the cultural evening at registration on the morning of the 21st, in order for us to arrange the transport. We will provide you with the transport ticket to access the venue. Please arrange the return individually.

To get to the Villa Quai Sturm from the Agora building: walk to the Bust/Tram stop Droits de l’Homme and take the bus number 6 towards Hoenheim Gare. Get off at Tribunal – Fonderie and you are at the villa. Return to the hotel: The hotel is at 20 minutes walking distance from the Villa Quai Sturm. If you do not wish to walk, walk 5 minutes to the tram stop République and take the tram B towards . Get off at the stop Modern Art Museum.

LITTLE REMINDER!

1. Meals not foreseen in the agenda cannot be covered by the Project.

2. Local travels: Only public transport costs from and to the Airport will be reimbursed to you upon submission of a signed claim form (accompanied by the tickets & invoice). Taxi and other transportation costs cannot be reimbursed.

3. Boarding pass/ticket will be collected on the first day at the registration desk
