Championships Results Making it through pool play in to the eight finals round to finish 12 th is an outstanding result and it reflects the 2010 NZ A Secondary Schools commitment, passion, energy and skill the team showed Championships Results through out the event. We could not be prouder of our 2010 NZ Open & Wheelchair National team. We also congratulate management and team Championships Results coaching staff for their outstanding contribution to the Tall Blacks. We also thank the fans that showed their support to U18 FIBA Oceania Series the Tall Blacks during their World Championship campaign. NZ Masters Games Competing at the World Championship has opened up New Zealander of the Year Awards opportunities for Tall Blacks Kirk Penney and Thomas Abercrombie. Tom has received interest from European BP Vouchers for Volunteers clubs to land a contract in the next European season and WBC for 2011 Kirk is in the training squad for NBA team San Antonio Spurs. Kirk is currently training in the team and will find out 2010 FIBA Rulebook available online later this month if he makes the final roster.     1 WAIKATO SECONDARY SCHOOLS SPORTS ASSOCIATION INC CONSTITUTION 1.1 NAME The name of the association shall be Waikato Secondary Schools Sports Association (Incorporated). 1.2 REGISTERED OFFICE The registered office of the Association shall be at such a place as the Executive may from time to time determine. 1.3 INTERPRETATION In this Constitution, unless a contrary intention appears: 1.3.1 “The Association” means The Waikato Secondary Schools Sports Association (Incorporated). 1.3.2 “The Executive” means the Members of the Executive, appointed under Rule 1.10.2 of these rules. 1.3.3 “Director” means the Executive Sports Director appointed pursuant to rule 1.12 of this Constitution. 1.3.4 “Sports Council”, or “Council” means the NZ Secondary Sports’ Council. 1.3.5 “Year” means the financial year of the Association, which shall extend from 1 January in any year until 31 December of that year. 1.3.6 “Waikato Secondary Schools” means a secondary school in the Waikato area that is registered with the New Zealand Ministry of Education as an accredited secondary school. It shall include state owned, integrated and private secondary schools, such schools being approved by a general meeting of the Association on the recommendation of the Executive. 1.3.7 “WSSSA” means Waikato Secondary Schools Sports Association (Inc). 1.3.8 The following shall be deemed to be approved secondary schools for the purposes of this Constitution: Berkley Normal Middle School; Cambridge High School; Coromandel Area School; Fairfield College; Forest View High School;
