A.1. Company data – AUSTRIA
In 2007 the focus was on contacting of soaps and shampoo producers (Kanol etc.) from Austria and Germany (importing to Austria), reatilers (REWE, SPAR etc.) with focus on household articles, cleaners etc. as well as selected follow up-contacts with producers of tissue paper, paints and electrical appliances.
In 2008 the contact focus was on Textile products. The information started referring to the textiles workshop with a mailing to about 500 contacts by Lenzing in combination with the textile contacts of the Austrian Competent Body (BMLFUW) and the Austrian Consumer Organisation (VKI). Beside that we had several follow-up contacts with companies from other product groups (Soups and shampoos).

The main focus of the ENVIROS project activities in Czech and Slovak Republic in 2008 was on promotion cooperation with TESCO warehouse chain and at the Biostyl trade fairs in Prague and Bratislava.
Beside that ENVIROS in Czech Republic provided additional support for the Czech Competent Body with acquisition activities towards workwear producing companies. This focus was agreed at the EMP synergy & cooparation workshop (with CB, EPCA, Energon and G&L) in Prague on the 11th of February 2008. So far no company was interested or started an application. Most of them are very small.
