Attention All Hemet High Students! The Think Together Program is looking for students to attend after school. The program has after school activities such as Gamers Club, Culinary Arts, & Study Hall, and will soon implement a social and emotional learning activity. The MORP Event will be Friday, March 27, 2020 from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. The theme is "SURVIVOR" and this is a t-shirt event in their classes color. Please pick up your permission slip at the ASB Office window before school, lunch, or after school. Prices this week are $25.00 with ASB, $30.00 without ASB and $50.00 for a non-student guest. Attention all 9th through 11th graders! Are you looking for an elective that gets you involved and helps to create a positive climate on campus? Then Student Leadership (PLUS) is the class for you. The Annual Dodgeball Tournament will be held in the gym on Friday March 13th @ 6pm. Tickets will be sold at the door. $3 with ASB & $5 without ASB. See you all there!

Food Handlers Certification: THINK TOGETHER’S Culinary Arts program is on (Tuesday/Wednesday) after school. The Culinary Arts Cub will help you get your food handler’s card even if you don't attend consistently. Stop by after school for more information.

Did you attend the Hemet Unified SAFE or ZONE after school program in elementary or middle school? Be sure to apply for the SAFE/ZONE Scholarship Opportunity Program scholarship being offered to current Seniors. They are offering 5 - $1000 scholarships. The deadline to apply is March 30th. Hemet Unified School District is pleased to announce that they will be awarding the Governing Board Scholarship to seniors attending Hemet Unified School District schools. Applications are available in the Counseling office. Please see Mrs. Daniels in counseling for more information. The deadline is March 20. Do not miss out on this generous scholarship opportunity!

SENIORS: Do you have a family member that is a member of the CSEA Chapter 104 Classified Union with Hemet Unified School District? Be sure to apply for the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship! CAA Youth Scholarship - $1000 minimum - for seniors whose parents are active duty law enforcement, firefighter, paramedic, or EMT. The deadline is April 10th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

Citrus Belt Athletic Scholarship - $750 - for senior student athletes. The deadline is April 16th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

HTA Dependent Scholarship - $300 - for seniors whose parents are members of the Hemet Teachers Association (HTA). Student must attend a Hemet Unified school. The deadline is March 27th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

Hemet Woman's Club Scholarship - $1000 - open to ALL seniors who attend Hemet Unified Schools. The deadline is March 10th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

PB&J Scholarship - $500-$1000 - for seniors that have experienced challenges in life and who have the drive to succeed. The deadline is May 31st. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

Riverside County Sheriff Scholarship - $1,000-$4500 - There are 2 scholarship opportunities available: One is for students whose parents are active or regular members of the Riverside County Sheriffs Association and one is open to ALL high school seniors attending a school in Riverside County. Soroptimist Community Service Scholarship - $500-$1000 - Open to Senior girls only. Recognizing students who will graduate with distinguished service to their school and community. The deadline is March 11th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

Splawn Scholarship - up to $1000 - Open to all seniors. They are looking for students that understand and exemplify the meaning of "hard work". The deadline is April 12th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

Students with Disabilities Scholarship (-Hawaii Elks Major Project) - $1000-$3000 - Open to any senior with a disability. See the application for more information. The deadline is March 15th. Check out the Scholarship bucket in Counseling for more info.

The Idyllwild Scholarship Fund application period is now open to Seniors who resided in the Idyllwild School attendance area for at least 3 years during elementary or middle school AND at least 2 years during high school. The deadline to apply is April 13. Please see Mrs. Morga in the counseling office for more information.

Are you planning on attending a 4 year college and interested in the NROTC Marine option? If accepted into this program, this scholarship will cover 100% of your college tuition, provide a textbook stipend, and provide a monthly living allowance. Are you interested in pursuing a career as a Firefighter (fire science) or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and plan on attending MSJC? Be sure to apply for the Jason McKay Memorial Scholarship. The deadline is April 01. See Mrs. Daniels in the Counseling office for more information.

The Chairish "Design Your Future" Scholarship is being offered to students who are overcoming obstacles to earn a college degree. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants pursuing design and engineering related fields. The deadline to apply is June 30.
