G:\FOI\Request Disclosure Logs\July 2017 Responses Request

I am requesting all data regarding the cuts by for the 101 bus service, and the name of consultation firm and the costs for carrying out the Liverpool Bus Review.

Response

Further to your recent request made under the Freedom of Information Act, please find Merseytravel’s response attached.

I can confirm that all work as part of the Liverpool Bus Review has been carried out internally, so no consultation firms have been used.

Some survey sheets contained the name and signature of the Merseytravel officer who carried out the work. Please note that personal information is exempt under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as disclosure would allow the possibility of the identification of a living individual(s), thereby breaching the Data Protection Act 1998.

I do not regard disclosure as constituting the ‘fair and lawful’ processing of personal data, meaning that its release would therefore breach the First Principle of the Data Protection Act 1998, neither do I believe that any of the conditions of Schedule 2 or Schedule 3 are met.

I am also of the opinion that disclosure of the information would not provide any greater understanding of the subject matter. The names and signatures have therefore been redacted in accordance with Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right under the Act to ask for an internal review, which should be addressed to: Mrs Julie Watling Legal, Democratic Services & Procurement Manager Merseytravel PO Box 1976 Liverpool L69 3HN [email protected]

If you are not content with the result of your internal review, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner, whose address is The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5AF www.ico.gov.uk

Postcode of respondents And, which bus do you most often? [Select one only] Improvements that encourage patronage L1 1RD Other service not listed Better reliability, fast services (few people who use the bus need a stop every 30 metres so services shouldn't stop so regularly, bus arrival boards at sir Thomas Street, better advertising at bus stops of regular buses (eg: in London they have small squares above wash bus stop which tell you exactly what buses stop there), an iBus system like in London and other cities would mean much more accessible information.

L1 5BW 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) More frequent buses for football matches on the 26/27 L1 5EZ 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Nothing L1 6AA 310 (Liverpool to Skelmersdale) Cheaper fares. Bus fares have become extortionate in comparison to wages. I'm sure the bosses at Merseytravel aren't feeling the pinch though. The buses need nationalising. L1 8LP 86A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) More even spacing, ie less bunching. L1 8ND 79, 75/80/86/86a Revien Street Situations (Congestion) & reprogram traffic lights to prioritise bus routes more than non bus routes L1 9BG 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Transponders on controlled junctions, real time indicators on bus stops, bus‐only lanes, bus red routes, improved 79 route through Paddington School site to link Wavertree with Brownlow Hill. L10 7LF 63 (Crosby to Aintree Interchange) Arriva route 63 ‐ Bootle‐Crosby‐Fazakerley Circular ‐ an earlier start at Fazakerley L11 1TS 159 (Walton Hall Park to Fazakerley Hospital) Shorter frequency L11 2UH 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) More double decker buses at peak times L11 2XG 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) The bus drivers are more often than not are very rude . I don't know why but maybe they need a customer service course as it makes the customers have a unpleasant journey L11 4SH 62 (Bootle to Allerton) Buses coming on time would be useful, instead of buses being missed out and then two or more coming at the same time (service 62) L11 7AF 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Double decker at peak times , more frequent and reliable 17. L11 7AH 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Bus services to be on time. 17 is currently running good times and is currently reliable L11 8NA 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) More space on buses for prams and trolleys L11 9AJ 62 (Bootle to Allerton) More buses on 62 route often left for an hour waiting especially of a Friday evening after work and Sunday afternoon, service needs to be regular currently unreliable often have to get taxi as I have a life and don't have 2 hours to wait each day for a bus, The journey is long enough as it is. I find if you are not getting a bus to or from city centre the service is not reliable and often have to find an alternative route quite frankly it's not good enough

L11 9AW Other service not listed 898/899 should run further into huyton village. alot of people who use this bus seevice have to get off at page moss (end of route) to get another bus into huyton village L12 0NP 18 (Liverpool Circular) Service 18 desperately needs bigger busses. Overcrowding is a daily occurrence and it's near impossible to even get a bus to stop on the way home at rush hour. L12 0PE 18 (Liverpool Circular) More regular serivces of an evening L12 0PZ 18 (Liverpool Circular) The first big improvement I would suggest is to ban food and drink on all public buses. It happens in other parts of the world i.e. Australia and the buses are a lot more pleasant to travel on. Some people are absolutely disgusting and leave no end of fast food rubbish all over the seats. I would also suggest running a different timetable during school holidays, it serves no purpose for the bus to hang around at bus stops because the low volume of traffic means they arrive too early at the stop. If the travel time was reduced we could all get to work a bit earlier and become more productive. Another problem with the route I use is the drivers cutting off huge chunks of the route when they see fit. Many a time I have witnessed an 18 not doing the loop on Croxteth Park Estate and just going around the roundabout or missing out Mann Island. L12 0QP 18 (Liverpool Circular) Service 102, it's ok through the day but at evenings and weekends there is no service to get to the hospitals ‐ Alder hey & Fazackley. currently is not serving old Croxteth in the evenings, it should be rerouted to serve Croxteth Park

L12 0SQ 102 (Huyton to Fazakerley Hospital) 102 in the evening as it doesn't go around Croxteth Park‐in the evenings I have to get 2 buses home from work.

L12 2AN 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Being able to pay with a contactless card would be a HUGE improvement. I often don't carry cash so being able to use my card/phone on the buses would be a tremendous improvement. Could the system used by TfL be implemented in Liverpool? It works very well in London. L12 2AT 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Alternative route other than Mill lane ‐ always a queue of traffic no matter what time of day. L12 4XZ 12 (Liverpool Circular) There needs to be a later departure from city centre , at night at approx 23.45 etc the current 2330 is a bit too early for connections from rail L12 5EP 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) It is supposed to come every 7 mins, I often sit there for 30 waiting for one. Too full to get on when they do turn up. Had to start using car of a Saturday as too unreliable. If morning issues continue will have to start taking car to work as terrible bus service making me late L12 7JU 12 (Liverpool Circular) 13 terminating at James Street during early morning (not Queens Square) 15 to / from James Street (not Victoria Street) It is a MAJOR problem travelling home early evening from 5 to 6 O'clock, missed out buses, never to time, ALWAYS OVERCROWDED, its a nightmare, dangerous and totally puts me off travelling by bus. I can't emphasise enough how STRESSFUL it is travelling on over crowded bus'. L12 9EJ 61 (Bootle to Aigburth) 61 ‐ driver always stops outside alder hey in the morning making the bus late to Old Swan, where the 68 is always early to Broadgreen road so I miss the connection. Occassionally in the evenings the bus is full ‐ obviously traffic can't be avoided but surely you can do something about buses being an hour between?! So if it's going to be busy put a double decker on. L12 9EU 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) attention paid to synchronising services. for example both the 300 and 310 are timed to follow each other leaving you with a 30 min wait if you miss them because the 61 is late as it always is an unreliable service. They used to alternate about every 15 mins L12 9LZ 13 (Liverpool Circular) for the buses to run to time and not have 4 come at once which is normal for the 12 and 13 routes L13 0AD 62 (Bootle to Allerton) More double decker buses to fit all the passengers and charging ports L13 1BN 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) Bus lanes would make journey faster L13 2DA 7 (Liverpool to Warrington) I used to use the 6 or 7 to commute mon‐fri into work. When the 6 was removed I switched to using the 139 as the times for the 7 were unreliable and unsuitable for my commute. The 139 became just as unreliable and therefore I decided to make the move to getting the train each day. Whilst using the train is proving to be a more reliable service, Wavertree Technology Park is further away from my house and it seems ridiculous that I am very close to 2 stops within 5 minutes on 2 different routes with 2 different providers and yet I can't rely on either to get me into work on time. Not only this but I am within 5 minutes walk from the main routes through Old Swan (10s, etc) but again, it just seems like a risk I can't be bothered to make with regards to my employment. As a non‐driver, I don't mind paying to use these services and can't complain on the price but I won't pay for an unreliable service and will stick to getting the train when I start my new job next week. L13 3NR 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) The Halton No:61 service is the ONLY service remaining now on Bowring Park Road, ever since Arriva decided to withdraw the no:6 service back in July 2016. This service only runs twice an hour during the day ‐ there is NO evening service. The 61 service runs down Wavertree Road. There is currently NO service via Edge Lane which is the key main route into Liverpool. There is no way of getting to Edge Lane from Bowring Park by bus. This is bizarre as Edge Lane is an expanding retail/leisure/commercial park. Why are people in this area being denied a reasonable level of service considering this is a main road into Liverpool?? How can people be encouraged to use public transport when there is no bus service to take advantage of? This needs addressing. We need a reasonable level of service throughout the day and some sort of service of an evening to Liverpool city centre passing through both the Wavertree Road area and Edge Lane. The current meagre service provided by just one operator is just not good enough! L13 4AA 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) More frequent service of the number 7 L13 5YE 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) Express services on routes with a number of stops such as the 10/10A route L13 6QQ 62 (Bootle to Allerton) 62 bus never on time, several buses missed out everyday, extremley overcrowded when if they ever do arrive

L13 6RZ 139 (Liverpool to Prescot) 139 start and terminate journey journeys at Liverpool one bus station, go via north John street and Lord street, increase time frequency, use Dovecot avenue as hail and ride, go via Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park Longview drive incase the arriva routes 8&9 get withdrawn as my uncle uses the baths as he would have to walk from Huyton bus station L13 6RZ 68 (Bootle to Aigburth) 68/68A increase bus times, 68 should be double Decker buses, Sunday morning buses should start at 06:00, 68A should operate on boxing day and new year's day L13 7BR 68 (Bootle to Aigburth) 68 needs to keep to its timetable! L13 9BA 27 (Liverpool Circular) more wifi buses. L14 0JS 27 (Liverpool Circular) the bus frequently doesnt adhere to the timetable, it states that the frquency is every 10 mins this rarely happens, today i was at the bust stop at 8.39 this is the time it states on your timetable displayed at bus stop, I must have missed it by a whisker but couldnt see it pulling off so chances are it came slightly early, the 8.49 did not come I got on the bus at 8.57 , then another 27 was right behind it so it is impossible to jusge, I go to work from Page moss Lane Huyton to Kirkdale the journey is bad enough as pilch lane is busy as is the roundabout and then either through old swan if i get the 9 or 10 buses or by jolly miller which is often gridlocked if i get the 15. I am frquesntly late for work and cannot leave any earier due to childcrae commitments so it doesnt help when I should be able to get into work for 9.10 my start but dont because buses have let me down. the attitude of a lot of drivers is shocking, much more customer care is needed you would think they were allowing me to travel on their own personal bus not a paying passenger.

L14 0LJ 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) 15 to go right into town like it used to and for the buses to be on time L14 0NG 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) More frequent buses at peak times, the bus has to skip stops as it gets busy due to Carmel college students.

L14 2HA 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) Less loud and smelly people L14 3LJ 139 (Liverpool to St Helens) Survey didn't let me select route 7 but answers apply to both 7 and 139. Improved frequency would make me use bus more. Wifi on board, bus priority measures to reduce time spent in traffic jams at peak hours

L14 3LQ 7 (Liverpool to Warrington) I would like to make a number of suggestions L14 3LW 7 (Liverpool to Warrington) 7 ‐ nicer buses, these always seem to be the manky older style ones that constantly smell of wee 300/310 ‐ SPREAD THE TIMINGS OUT ‐ using these to come back from Maghull and both buses arrive at the stops at the same time

L14 3ND At present I don't have a bus along the road where I live ‐ I have to walk & sometime have to get 2 buses to them to my destinations ‐ I live on Bowring Park road Liverpool l4 3nd L14 3NP 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) More buses, more reliability re timetable ‐ often one doesn't turn up and then two appear together L14 3NQ 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) bus service required to travel to above amenities. Also to get to Edge Lane and City. Since buses have been stopped in the area of Bowring Park Road it is almost impossible to travel anywhere. People alighting train at Barrow park station are left stranded. The bus stop is outside the station but there are no buses to take them any further!!! There is no transport in the area after 6pmish. Taxis are required which is a costly expense. An additional bus stop between Chelwood Ave and Rocky Lane. Hoping for an improvement to the services:‐ Even if its only an hourly service to take in the Rocket & Broadgreen station

L14 3NQ Having a service to use L14 3NQ I would like a bus to connect to Childwall Valley Rd and the Swan (Prescot Rd) L14 3NU 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) Punctuality Punctuality! The 61 can arrive (occssionally) ealier than scheduled but more frequently upto 20 mins late. The No 6 was removed when they both travelled together so potential was lost. The 30 min 'service' finishes early evening so we have no bus service at all in the evening. Sadly residents have lost faith in the service but can you rectify that? The problem appears to arise from the journey length from Widnes area it's too loong for it to be punctual but if the 61a and 61 'met' at the Huyton station as a terminus, then the bus journey could be improved by running from Huyton to Liverpool Queen Square. Please give us a service. Comments are often made that we don't have a footfall but the lack of service does not encourage use. The Sunday 'service is a 1 hour schedule but you can't know if you have missed one or not and can wait a long time or just simple walk, walk & walk

L14 4AG 13 (Liverpool Circular) Services to run on time and not having two buses turn up at the same time frequently. Also, to have them start earlier in the morning. L14 5DN 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) Stop the 8,9,10,10a arriving in bunches of 7 or 8. Then have to wait over 20 mins for a bus. Happens regularly. Services need regulation. L14 5NY Put your timing points back to pre 24/7/16. Too long now, which leads to arriving early in between stops. And then have half hour to wait for next no. 7. Or adjust running times to tie up with actual bus timetable. Why should you have to arrive at a bus stop five minutes early, and stand in rain as there is no shelter. Aged 76 I cant run yet I only live across road from stop, why don't drivers know what time to be at bus stop? 4 to 5 minutes early is unforgiveable. I've been travelling this route for 68 years! Move the 7 to a 20 min service or not to Warrington.

L14 5PD 7 (Liverpool to Warrington) Bring back the 6. More regular service, currently every 30 minutes and closer time to 9:30 concessionary start

L15 1EF 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) Better timekeeping, L15 1EW 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) More buses at peak times. Trying to get the 79 (or other buses on this route including the 78) bus out of town towards Wavertree at 5pm until about 6.30pm means it is packed with standing room only. I have to start heading towards the front of the bus a stop before I want to get off to ensure I can get off at my stop or there is a long walk back for me to my road from the next one. The same applies to the 86 buses, especially during term time heading into town with students filling the bus, often with musical instruments or sports equipment adding to the lack of room. Also around school hometime there is often mums with prams on this bus as well. I understand they all have a right to travel, but is it possible to add extra buses (even just 1 or 2) from 2.30 until 4pm to allow parents who don't drive to access a reliable bus service? At school home time (3pm onwards) my daughter who gets the 86 daily to and from school often has to wait until gone 4pm (She gets to the bus stop at Allerton Road/Mather Avenue Tesco around 3.30pm) before she can get on a bus as they're all so busy. I understand it's a sudden influx of passengers but buses from South Park Way towards town seem to reduce in number at this time. I know as I use the arriva app to let her know where the next arriva bus is. Also better bus stops along some routes (especially where school kids gather) would be an improvement. I know of one stop (Allerton Ballantrae Road) which is just a post, however I know pupils from the local school use it daily and other stops in the area are shelter ones, but not that one. L15 2HH 86C (Liverpool Circular) Cheaper tickets. On all services, perhaps My Tickets for students too or at least under 21s. L15 3JF 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) It would be great if I could buy my weekly ticket on a Stagecoach bus and use it on Arriva buses, but it only works the other way around. This means when I'm buying my weekly ticket I don't have the option of getting on a Stagecoach as buying a weekly ticket from there would mean I would be limited to getting Stagecoaches for the rest of the week. Same applies if I'm buying a daily ticket. L15 4HH 60 (Bootle to Aigburth) None L15 4HN 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) I have no problem with the frequency of the buses on my current root, or my old bus route (86, 80). I am lucky that my routes are well served. But the prices are high. People are travelling to work to earn a living and forking out large amounts to private companies and their shareholders. People's need to travel to work should not be exploited for private gain. More buses would be great I imagine, but dependent on less other traffic. Generally I think the buses are Ok in Liverpool, cost aside. L15 4HR Bus loves back L15 4ND 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) More buses as lots of students and always full 79D L15 7LE 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) Frequency.later buses L15 8GH Wavertree Rd & Picton Rd are very slow, bring back back the bus lanes. L15 8HL 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) If there was a bus going from Wavertree High Street then down West Derby Road (the A5049) I'd use it several times a week ‐ but currently I'd have to change buses to get there so I tend to use the car for those trips

L15 9HG 86D (Speke/Airport to Liverpool) More services to Queen sq instead of 1 bus every 20mins after 7am L16 1JF Timetable info ‐ more detail when a mix of services. Happy with buses, congestion a problem. L16 3EW None ‐ all services I use are excellent ‐ always on time L16 3GB 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) Later evening services and increased frequency and service down edge lane. L16 3GO 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) vital to keep Belle Vale circular. No services to Broad Green Hospital. Need more to hosp L16 3NB 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) We need more buses per hour along this route 1 every 30 mins is poor. Sometimes they dont turn up at all. I do not drive and this route is badly served. Make the finish times later too. All buses end by 7.30. Make buses more frequent on a Sunday. 1 per hour? Joke. L16 3NB 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) Later evening services L16 3ND 61 (Bootle to Aigburth) Service to Belle Vale, Huyton, Royal Hosp, Manor Farm ‐ from Bowring Park Road L16 3ND 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) More buses on the 61 Halton route and have it running later into the evening, and re‐introduce the Arriva 6 route

L16 3ND More services ‐ staggered times & spaced out. No 6 route reinstated ‐ Edge Lane ‐ any service to cover Edge Lane. Smaller bus okay. Keep to timetable. L16 3NE 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) Bus route is very poor, if they ran more regular I would definitely use the bus rather then my car. As far as I am aware I have a choice of one bus which is the 61. If I wanted to use the 79 I would have a 30 minute walk along Chelwood to get to Childwall Valley Road, as I have mobility problems. There is a small bus that runs along Chelwood, I have no idea of the times and in the 9 years I have lived in the area I don't think I have ever seen one travel the road. I think the area if very poorly serviced and I don't have any hopes of it improving

L16 3NJ We need the no. 6 bus back in service and more regular service on the 61 route from widnes L16 3NJ 6 bus back, more regular 61 from widnes L16 3NW 61 being more reliable. Cant get to old swan from Chelwood ave. 165 is fab and needed keep it. L16 3NW more frequent service, from have (old 6 route) we are cut off & cant access leisure, hosp etc, in town & would like a link to 79 or 10 bus ‐ at least hourly. L16 4PG 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) At present, the 79D usually at Childwall Fiveways accompanied by a 79, 79C and 14 (Halton Transport). It can be normal to wait another 10 minutes when the 'procession' is often repeated. Perhaps merging the 79 and 79D services to run from Halewood to Liverpool One via Queen Square. L16 5ES 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) I have recently reduced my use of the bus, especially in the evening peak, out if the city. The loss of bus lanes & reconfigured Crown Street junction make journey times ridiculous. It's now 15 mins quicker to walk from Mann Island to Lime Street, catch a train then walk another 12‐15 mins home from Broadgreen station. Thus at a time when you are promoting a bus alliance, it's a mockery. Also like to plea that the 174 remains, it's not perfect but serves a great many people who would otherwise be isolated.

L16 5ES 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) Make the 174 turn up on time at Belle Vale in the afternoons please L16 6AY Bus Lanes back L16 7PG 81A (Bootle to Speke/Airport) more room on bus in the morning rush always full of school kids, no seats L16 7QS 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Contactless payment L16 7QT too many buses L16 7QW 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) 79d L16 9JQ 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) 78 frequency needs to be increased especially as it serves the main entrance of the Royal Hospital. L16 9JQ 78 (Halewood Circular) 78 half hour service single decker bus hospital bus none after half 6 can't get to hospital L16 9JS The 174 why not go into town even if 1 an hour (like 173) you get on, gateacre drive and have a change at fiveways.

L17 0AD 82D (Liverpool South Parkway to Liverpool) If the bus says it will come at a particular time, then it should come at that time. Also, don't put fewer buses on in school holidays because people still work. L17 0AY 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Buses being on time more often L17 0DD 82D (Speke to Liverpool) If there was a service home to Aigburth from other than the half hourly service of the 103. No other service to that part of south liverpool L17 0DS 173 (Belle Vale to Liverpool) Electronic timetable information boards with real time information. This is invaluable and very useful on the stop outside Sainsbury's Knotty Ash store on East Prescot Road. This technology should feature at all key stops across Liverpool. L17 3AJ 86C (Liverpool Circular) 173. If this could be re‐routed to start and end by Sefton Park Community Centre this would be of great help to the older people in the area. At the moment only one bus (80) goes to the top of Allerton Road. The 173 would enable them to get to the top of the road and be able to visit Belle Vale shopping centre. Those of us who used to live in Mere Bank miss the lift that the 173 offered and miss going to Belle Vale. Getting the timing right in order to catch it at Heathfield is difficult and coming back means having to take heavy shopping bags to the stop opposite the small Tesco at Penny Lane. More flexibility for the start and end journey of this bus would be appreciated. It could begin and end it's journey at the car park by the Review Field and then continue round to the first stop in Greenbank Lane.

L17 3AU 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) better reliability (not two buses at once) better timetable co ordination especially in evenings e.g the 79 and 79c often come at the same after after a 20 minute gap more buses in peak hours and better reliability in peak hours cross operator ticketing for ALL ticket types just like the 471/472. for example buses on the 86's and 79's/14 and 61 as these serve student areas but student tickets cannot be used on all services which they can on services 471/472 in the wirral L17 5BD 82A (Liverpool to Halton) Bus only comes every 30 mins even in peak times. Never sticks to its timetable. L17 5BD 82A (Liverpool to Halton) None ‐ the 82a is a good service. L17 5BU 82A (Liverpool to Halton) 82A‐Route variation via Liverpool South Parkway, interchange onto other bus sevices would be made easier

L17 6DE 82D (Liverpool South Parkway to Liverpool) Clean L17 7AQ 82 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) I think it's shocking that there is no direct service between Lark Lane end of Aigburth Road to Allerton Ways, Rose Lane etc. 2 busses for such a short journey seems ridiculous. L17 7AY 82D (Liverpool South Parkway to Liverpool) 82d there should be more or even the 82d service should run through the day, have to walk from the business district to Liverpool one to get the 82 back to aigbirth rd. quite often the Arriva buses won't stop at the stops even when you have put your arm out, this happens mostly in the morning because they won't wait until the normal 82 has left. Also the concession passes are being let on before 9.30, this impacts on space available on buses for those trying to get to work but cannot get on the bus or are having to wait long periods to accommodate people on a bus who should not be on it as there pass should not be used until 9.30 if they want on they should have to pay like the rest of us. The 82 and 82d service could be improved greatly, stagecoach are mostly reliable but Arriva are the most ignorant drivers I have ever met and their customer service is not much better. They know that the service is needed so they have that attitude towards their overall service, it's very poor, and to be frank only I need to use the buses I would use them at all.

L17 7DT 173 (Belle Vale to Liverpool) Happy with current services I use L17 7HW 82A (Liverpool to Halton) 82a is very unreliable often goes out of service so just runs hourly. Tired of complaining about it L17 8UZ 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Making use of technology at bus stops to indicate where buses are and delays. The Smart Bus network was supposed to have 'state of the art information systems' but that never really happened. All Arriva and Stagecoach buses are GPS tracked ‐ make use of this at bus stop information screens L17 8XF 82D (Speke to Liverpool) The 82D used to be an amazing service but since September is hit and miss when it actually shows up. Something needs to be done and both service providers need to work together to ensure this service is good. 82 just goes to hanover street. for those of us going to dale street we need that service to get to work. Also, when the seasons change/schedule changes, it took over a week for my bus to get on its schedule; even though it is no longer showing up like clockwork so to speak L17 8XT 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Carry on later into the night, extend route to Liverpool Airport (82) L17 9EN 82A (Liverpool to Halton) It is unreliable and not frequent enough L17 9PZ 82D (Speke to Liverpool) The upholstery on the Arriva buses need a deep clean, on a whole the buses need to be cleaner ‐ which would mean a more pleasant journey. L18 0HW 78 (Halewood Circular) Reduce times for bus and increase more service in such areas as such as service to Liverpool South Parkway

L18 0HW 78 (Halewood Circular) More frequent than every 30 minutes and if it finishes later only bus for the elderly to use between church Road and cromptons lane L18 1EZ 86A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) Buses in City Centre to be simplified. All buses to go around the city in a loop ‐ Northbound go clockwise, Southbound go Anticlockwise, all buses reach all part of City Centre, All buses call at all stops (eliminating 'Where to catch your bus' Stop A, B, C nonsense!) Implement continental ticketing system with multiple doors. People trusted to scan/validate ticket while boarding, surprise inspections to enforce this. Faster boarding, less time at bus stops, less buses at each bus stop, therefore less bus stops needed (Stops A, B, C no longer needed)

L18 1HB 86 (Liverpool to Garston) Cheaper, its too expensive L18 1JP 80A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) 3 times an hour on Saturdays would be good which is what we have every other day! L18 1LB 80A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) Do not make any changes to 80a as only bus that stops on queens drive l18. 76 the only bus from l18 to royal hospital. 62 only correct route to Aintree hospital don't change. Happy with services as they are now. No buses to springwood from l18 only of an evening when crematorium is closed. L18 1LY 86D (Speke/Airport to Liverpool) Keep it going as it is the closest people can get to work near Old Hall Street coming from South Liverpool with one journey. L18 3JR 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) More frequent 76 bus service. This is THE ONLY SERVICE which covers the whole of Menlove Avenue. There is no other bus service between Crompton's Lane and the Woolton end of Menlove Avenue. L18 3LQ 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Better bus lanes city centre traffic is awful takes 25 mins to get out of city centre L18 4RE 80A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) Removal of constant roadworks on Smithdown Road (one bulk period would be preferable) ‐ bus 80/80A. The train is a much more reliable route for commuting but is only every half hour from Mossley Hill to Lime Street. I regularly travel to Anfield on matchdays and I would take the 68 bus if the timetable is more frequent in the evening. The provision is also poor on the 26/27 buses, with Arriva regularly using single decker buses for weekend games and providing a half hourly service in the evenings. The easiest way to get home is the indirect route via the city centre (917 then 80A). As there are 54000 people attending the match, service provision to South Liverpool is inadequate.

L18 4RW 80 (Liverpool to Speke) The route doesn't start early enough for me to make my rail connection if I have early morning meetings. In the evenings (after 6.30) the service is pretty irregular and sometimes there is a half hour wait (which in my view is too long for that early in the evening) L18 5ED Keep link to Liverpool & Belle Vale ‐ vital L18 5ER Please don't change 68 or 80a buses as I would not be able to get out as is the case of a number of pensioners in the flats in Dovedale road. L18 5EZ 80 (Liverpool to Speke) Contactless debit/credit card payments on board L18 5HY need a service down springwood road for the crem L18 5ZZ 80 (Liverpool to Speke) Increased capacity on the 80 route at peak time, single deckers often can't cope when school children try to get on board, frustrating when there are so many 86's. L18 6JL 86 (Liverpool to Garston) 86 and 86A Buses not all coming at same/similar time‐ better planning Buses stopping if there's one in front and not taking account of potential passengers they can't see Better driving, particularly not pulling up too fast

L18 6JT 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Increased frequency L18 9SD 86D (Speke/Airport to Liverpool) More buses to travel into the Business Area, Dale Street/Tithebarn Street, during working hours L19 0NJ 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Better frequency of service on Sundays. Night bus on service 82 running 7 days and integrated into normal fares structure (as with 86A route) Easier ticketing (eg ability to issue Saveaways on board buses) Less complex fares (no differentiation between different operators, able to use all prepaid tickets on any operator) Cheaper fares, such a cheaper fare than the current 2.20 for short journeys. L19 0NP 82 (Liverpool to Speke) none required L19 0QA 82 (Liverpool to Speke) 82, better visibility of when buses are arriving L19 1QG Other service not listed not applicable L19 1QQ 82 (Liverpool to Speke) 24 hour service on the 82

L19 1QY 82A (Liverpool to Halton) Quicker L19 2NA 82 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Less jerking and waiting till seated L19 2NE 82 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Easier access to season tickets ‐ bring the Trio in line with the 'credit card' passes that Stagecoach use ‐ MUCH easier for the passenger. Ability to renew online would be great too. L19 2RP 80 (Liverpool to Speke) More buses required. I use the 80,80A,82,82D,500,X1 to get to and from work. Unfortunately I have noticed the cut in services has made travelling more difficult especially with the increase in passengers. I am considering alternative transportation. Also the time to get to/from the city centre to Garston is a joke. It can take hour plus to travel an 8/10 mile journey. More buses are required not a cut in services. L19 3PN 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Reduce fares / make it easier to buy saveaways in advance L19 3PS 63 (Crosby to Aintree Interchange) more frequent service on 80 and 80A route day and evening L19 3QS 82 (Liverpool to Speke) Keep frequency same L19 3RJ 82D (Liverpool South Parkway to Liverpool) Stop bunching up and spread the service of the various 82's L19 4TX 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) 86 bus route is a disgrace, every ten mins they are supposed to be, I am normally waiting twenty/thirty mins and sometimes more. Then when they do eventually turn up they are packed like sardines and every bus stop following is heaving, so they jam more people onto the bus. I have waited for the 86 on a few occasions and upto seven 699 student buses have come before any 86's. You need to put more buses on this route especially in the early evening.

L19 5NN 86 (Liverpool to Garston) More reliable and frequent 80 service. This route actually takes me close to work but is not reliable or frequent enough to use so I have to use the 86 and have a 20 minute walk at the other end. Very frustrating.

L19 5NU 82 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Abolish flat rate fare, it is discriminatory. I take short trips and it's costs the same as a long trip. Make better use of technology, walrus card should be able to be topped up In advance. Special offers to outprchade 'multi' short trips at a discount. This is not new, transport for London are already implementing some of these services.

L19 5PQ Reintroduce fare stage system L19 6PA 82 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) Don't take any buses off. Keep a link to Belle Vale L19 6PQ 80 (Liverpool to Speke) Need to adhere to timetables, at present it is VERY hit and miss!! L19 6PR 80A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) More frequent service L19 7NR 80 (Liverpool to Speke) More regular 80 bus route too many 86 on the road Also there is no 80 Bus Service on Sundays to Speke Retail or Morrisons Poor qulaity service 80A only goes under the bridge and back of Estuary only usefull if going airport

L19 8EJ 80 (Liverpool to Speke) a timetable were buses continue after 6pm as it is then hard and or a long wait for the next bus home especially now the dark nights are comming in L19 8JZ 82D (Speke to Liverpool) More Frequency L19 8LQ 80 (Liverpool to Speke) The 80 and 80a are not very frequent on a Saturday, when I often also have to go to work. L19 9DB More frequent service L2 8TZ 12 (Liverpool Circular) Express buses (not stopping at all stops), and the ability to top up a Walrus card onboard. L2 8TZ 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) The tickets are odd. Why are some fares different when bought on the bus? Why can I only buy a ticket on my Walrus card at the bus stations ‐ and why are the machines so slow, both to add the ticket to the card, and to read the card on the bus? Why can't I just buy a return fare on the bus when that's what I need, rather than having to get a Saver on my Walrus card? Buying a ticket seems to require more planning than it should, and I often have to go to the bus station in advance to add a day ticket to my Walrus card, even if I'm only making a return journey on a bus that I'm not planning to get on at the bus station!

L20 4PG 54 (Liverpool to Thornton) later buses L20 6GD 52 (Liverpool to Netherton) Run the 52 bus to Old Roan every day from 6:00 am to 11:30pm L21 1AG 53 (Liverpool to Crosby) 53 should be every 6mins and not. More regular L21 4PQ 53 (Liverpool to Crosby) Forward facing wheelchair space, better priority over wheelchair space above prams, pram spaces so that parents don't feel the need to use the wheelchair space as a pram space and then refuse to fold down their pram. London style electric ramps L22 1RT 53 (Liverpool to Crosby) If there was a service at around midnight going to Waterloo as last train is 11.38pm L22 3YE 62 (Bootle to Allerton) Worst bus service ever. Sometimes wait an hour then 3 come.63 driver then kicks you out at Marion Sq because he is running late. L23 6UW 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Making the 75 every 10 mins instead of every 20. L23 8SS 62 (Bootle to Allerton) Very happy with transport L24 1UJ Please don't take our free passes away L24 3TZ 82 (Liverpool to Speke) 82a not go through Garston 86a to use horrocks ave both ways 80 not to go to LSP (just 80a) 54 revise times so can keep to schedule Ensure 86a connects with merseyrail from the city to airport L24 6SW 89 (St Helens to Liverpool Airport) Free WiFi and possible express fast services to St Helens Bus Station, Long journeys are annoying and buses are constantly late. Buses are almost full everyday durign OFF PEAK hours and more seats are required

L25 0LN 163 (Belle Vale to Huyton) 163 bus service needs improving ‐ buses missed out. More frequent 81. No bus from higher road to Speke anymore.

L25 0NT 163 (Belle Vale to Huyton) 163 ‐ Busses turning up on time, during the week I can wait up to 45 mins after work for this bus as it's late and whoever thought having the bus leave at 4.55pm so everyone who works in huyton until 5pm has to wait forever for the next one needs their head testing.. a 20 minute journey home takes over an hour now it's disgusting!

L25 0PJ 81 (Bootle to Speke) 81 L25 0PY 82D (Liverpool South Parkway to Liverpool) Reliability!! No direct bus to town!! Change the notices at bus stops of any changes in service. L25 0PY Need more consistency with timetables. If every 20 mins stick to it through the day not change to every 25 or 30 mins. Need a bus service from Hunts Cross into Liverpool as need something to access hospital or Mather Ave. 86B used to be great. No service for Allerton way cemetery. L25 1PX Other service not listed Take prams off buses L25 1RT Happy with services used. Drivers curtious L25 2NW Happy with services in the acre. Driver training ‐ better driving and customer care. L25 2QD 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) A regular (more than hourly) service connecting to Belle Vale from where I live ‐ there is no service. L25 2XU 79D (Liverpool to Netherley) More buses on a Saturday morning on the 79. L25 3PE more services Christmas week L25 3QB 173 (Belle Vale to Liverpool) Direct service to Aigburth Road L25 3QS Direct service to Aigburth Road from Belle Vale L25 3QS Direct service to Aigburth Road by Otterspool Prom from Belle Vale L25 3RL 78 (Halewood Circular) There are no bus services between Church road nth and Woolton rd/hope Park meaning anyone living along that long stretch of road has to walk or get a taxi as the no.174 runs every 1/2 hr from 6.30 as far as allerton library via penny lane, and the 78 service finishes from town after 1850, and into town as well. The options are more expensive for the customer as stated at the beginning. There are plenty of bus services (79,79C,79D,14) all heading along picton rd towards netherly, but only 1 service covering the afore mentioned section of woolton road. Surely there could be some sort of compromise made in that one service covers woolton road all along then down Gateacre Brow towards netherly. L25 4SD 81 (Bootle to Speke) Come more often. Have a bus that actu all goes to Speke retail park from woolton L25 5LB 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Another stop on Grange Lane. 173 + 174 unreliable railways late or early. Reliable frequent service from Gateacre PR DV to Gateacre + Woolton. Service from Gateacre village to Liverpool. Cleaner signs on services not just say circular.

L25 5NF need a circular from Belle Vale via Halewood road, to Hunts Cross & Asda Woolton. No service from Halewood road to hunts cross. Reliability as wont use bus for hospital. L25 6EU 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) Simplify the complex route currently taken the 76 bus. Reinstate 86H service that used to run along Menlove Ave to South Parkway. L25 6EU 89 (St Helens to Liverpool Airport) The 76 down menlove id only 1/2 hour service & can run out of time at busy periods / congestion in city centre. Why cant some of the many buses down acrefield road be diverted own menlove, the oaps in guinnels trust flat on menlove should have more frequent service. Also woolton needs a round robin bus to pick up and serve Liverpool South Parkway. Maybe this could go down menlove. L25 6HG 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Better journey planning (open data via google etc). Standard electronic payment (contactless?) rather than cash.

L25 6HX 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) At times buses run in convoys.Better timetable supervision is required. L25 7RW 78 (Halewood Circular) 76 if if was more frequent every 30 mins is awful L25 7SW Reliability. Driver attitude improvement. Service to Linda McCartney hosp ‐ cant walk back to hosp L25 7US More reliable service on 76 166 188. Services should have the same number for service night & day & no lettered services i.e. not 75e, call it a totally different number to avoid confusion. L25 8RR 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) More frequent buses to woolton or Childwall, particularly during the evening. There seem to be a lot of 86s, but few of anything else L25 8SN need a service to town on Speke Road by golf course L25 9NH 193 gone, 163 rubbish! 78 163 keep telling people not to put passes on machine. L25 9PG change the rules on prams to 2 prams again L26 0XG Better linking up with LSP (bus/train) Happy, Good new buses ‐ feel safe L26 0XH 166 (Belle Vale to Halewood/Liverpool South Parkway) 166/266/188/288 improve reliability and increase route frequency during peak hours. L26 1TQ 266 (Belle Vale to Halewood/Liverpool South Parkway) The buses dont show up on time, or not at all, when you phone the operator to ask if their services are running, they just 'matter of fact' say bus has broken down (happens at least 4 times a week!!! When the bus DOES turn up, the drivers sometimes use mobile phones while they are driving, (one one occasion the driver was on his phone for my entire journey!!) I would like to see Arriva (who know how to run a bus service) provide this route for passengers. its a highly populated route, and the service is currently letting its passengers down and making them late for work becasue (as quoted by telephone operator in office) the other services are deemed more important !!!! I have complained (or tried to) on a number of occasions regarding their service, and them letting people down, not once have they responded! Awful bus service, awful customer service and dangerous driving !! PLEASE ARRIVA TAKE OVER THIS SERVICE !!

L26 6BG 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) 75 Run into Halewood village more often throughout the day L27 1YY 166 (Belle Vale to Halewood/Liverpool South Parkway) 166 L27 5RQ 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) 79. Why are we there single deckers at peak time ??? L27 7AH 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) Lower Fares, better sunday service we are served by 14/79c/79 services and approximately a 20 minute service but all 3 services seem to be timed around the same time if timings were altered the service could provide a 5 or 10 minute service by retiming the timetable L27 7DB 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) Direct bus to London road from halewood L3 2BE Make the 101 more frequent as it is always crowded. L3 4AX 86 (Liverpool to Liverpool South Parkway) More frequent on weekends L3 4DY C4 (Dingle Circular) 82a & C4 are timed too close together, not good on cold days! L3 4EG 82A (Liverpool to Halton) Need more regular service or use of 500 for residents on riverside L3 4GF C5 (Dingle Circular) I would use both the C4 and C5 much more regularly if an evening bus service was provided. An 8pm finish for a city centre bus service is a bit poor by any standards; particularly as it is the only bus service that runs along the waterfront. L3 6JW 55 (Liverpool to Old Roan) Every 30 minutes should be more buses along that route 55 L3 6JY 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) go down Boundary Street, Liverpool, L5 9UF then along Vauxhall rd towards town centre. L3 9BB 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Sadly the 17 is sometimes missed out. L31 4EY 82A (Liverpool to Halton) 82/300 only half hour bit more frequency L32 0TD 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) Through peak hour there is always a convoy, obviously there getting clogged together somewhere on the journey

L32 9QH 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) An early morning service from Kirkby for people who are due in work at 5am and a late night service from Liverpool city centre for those of us working up to midnight L33 8XX 21 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Northwood) The fact that when they all seem to go out of service mid morning and between half 4 and half 6 of a night leaving me standing there for over 30 minutes at times....awful. maybe a circular around northwood and towerhill and then get a separate bus into Liverpool. L34 6JG 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) 10 ‐ many times I have been stood at the bus stop for up‐to half an hour waiting for this bus service then 2 or 3 buses turn up at the same time. L34 9ES 10B (Liverpool Circular) Please make the 217 or 227 through Knowsley Village run more regular and not to skip Page Moss on certain routes. This will help me get more buses and also not be waiting around or late. L36 0ST 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) more bus on roby road Huyton L36 0ST 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) more bus on roby road L36 0TW Earlier service ‐ 5:15am from Huyton to Liverpool for work. And after 11:30 late night bus to Huyton L36 1AA 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) ‐cheaper fares and ones that were staged, like they used to be,so longer journeys cost more. The current flat fares penalize short journeys ‐better evening [after 6pm] and Sunday services ‐more frequent services ‐more reliable services ‐more operators and L36 1AA 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) ‐cheaper fares and ones that were staged, like they used to be,so longer journeys cost more. The current flat fares penalize short journeys ‐better evening [after 6pm] and Sunday services ‐more frequent services ‐more reliable services ‐more operators and L36 3RJ 10B (Liverpool Circular) None. L36 3SQ 8 (Liverpool to Huyton Circular) 7/8/9 all need to be more frequent or so there a gap using them everyday and once u miss one u have missed both

L36 4NQ More services to huyton village L36 4NZ 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Service 15: Why does it now terminate at the 1st bus stop in Dale Street? As many as 20+ people in the morning are turfed off and have to walk further. The old stopping place of Water Street was fine. I understand that there are lots of buses that go along Dale Street but why is it our service that suffers? Why can't every alternative 12/13/15 or 18 go to Queen Square only, to alleviate the problem. At least then all passengers suffer the same fate. No bus that serves Western Avenue/Pilch Lane/Eaton Rd corridor goes further than 1st stop in Dale St. Therefore we cannot get to Water Street, Liverpool 1, Lord Street, Castle Street etc without changing buses. And that easily said than done at Queen Square. In conjunction with the route change, the 1st bus stop the 15 picks up from is now the final stop in Victoria Street. However, this stop serves all services to the Wirral. It's a very busy bus stop already without adding another service there. Also there is no correlation between the route of the 15 and any other bus that stops there. Surely this should be looked at. It's also very difficult for the driver to cut across 2 lanes of traffic to turn right into Old Haymarket to get to Queen Square especially at peak times. The service has definitely suffered since this new route has been introduced, and I see no time savings benefits as i regularly still have to wait more than 15 or 20 minutes for one to turn up for my journey home, even though they are meant to be every 7/8 minutes. Can the scheduling not be looked? Every 10 minutes or 15 minutes would be better. 7/8 minutes is not very exact timetabling. The type of bus that is scheduled for the time of day is confusing as well. Peak times from Huyton between 7:30 ‐ 8:15 and then 4:30 to 5:30 from Liverpool should be served by double deckers not single ones. All too often this is not the case and there is not enough room on the bus and people are left at bus stops. Services 8/9 ‐ often late, especially the No.8 service in the morning. Again terminates at Queen Square when most passengers would like to go further. Timetables: I think the scheduling of all buses needs looking at, especially Arriva services. I often get stuck on a bus while they wait at a bus stop for 5 or more minutes because they are ahead of schedule. Just get the timetable right instead. Also, do the 14, 18 and 79 services really have to be every 5 minutes? Surely if you want to reduce traffic in town, a substantial amount would be saved by cutting back on these services, as they all use Dale Street and are never full to capacity. In general: why can't you get on any bus at the stop outside the Empire Theatre? A notice on the bus stop states you can now only get on a 10A. Very inconvenient for people who come off a train at Lime Street and are refused entry onto a bus to get further into town.

L36 4QX 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) 61 greater frequency; this bus service has been decimated over the past few years. We no longer have the 6 service; the Halton bus service has become unreliable and infrequent L36 5XP 61 (Liverpool to Widnes) There are limited buses on this route and I am a pensioner with no other options to get into the city. I am unable to walk to the train station. We need more buses on this route please. L4 0PR more buses, more evening services particularly in winter ‐ push it back to after 9pm to drop services off L4 0RA 26 (Liverpool Circular) If they didn't shut walton breck road for so long when there is a home match at anfield as this is a nightmare

L4 1AA 500 (Liverpool to Speke ‐ Airport) increased frequency, earlier/later services L4 2UW 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) More buses L4 2UX 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) Keeping to timetables and not all buses turning up at once so you wait ages for next lot L4 3RA 68 (Bootle to Aigburth) 68 ‐ more buses per hour, timeable to be be the same each hour *(it changes slightly), comfier buses, wif‐fi 61 ‐ find some way to be more reliable. This bus is almost always late heading to aigburth. Buses running frequently until at least 7 pm All arriva buses (the GPS on the buses is often wrong) L4 3SA 56 (Liverpool to Netherton) More frequent L4 5SH 21 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Northwood) The bus service on this route seem to be very sporadic and intermittent at least on two or three occasions in the last few weeks I have waited at least 55 minutes for a bus at James Street (21) ‐ the drivers do not apologise and indeed seem to have no idea that they are late or why they are late. L4 5UH 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) Pay as you go Walrus Card. More frequent weekend service L4 6SG X3 to run after 6pm ‐ into the evening to cover shift workers in Aintree hospital, shifts finish at 8pm ‐ can services be at 8:30pm L4 6SS X3 (Liverpool to Kirkby Admin) More double deckers at peak times and in the evening particulaty on the 19 and 20 21 L4 6TN 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) Double decker buses and more frequent services of a morning. Because the bus route serves two schools (Alsop and Anfield academy) mornings on the 19 can be overcrowded, stressful and long. I have to leave half an hour earlier to have a stress free journey, guaranteeing I get a seat and more importantly, to work on time.

L4 6TZ 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) Contactless (bank) card acceptance, (NOT smart cards like Walrus), provision of realtime information at bus stops. My most important desire is to see a far more visible revenue protection and policing stance on buses in the area. Ticket checks should be greatly stepped up, with the relevant statutory penalties enforced. It is unacceptable that fare evasion or avoidance has been allowed to go unchecked for so long in . Whilst most people appear to have a ticket, a significant minority are using child, discounted or fraudulent tickets in a manner that causes revenue loss. L4 7SR 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) More buses to use Mann island. Better service from Mann island L4 7XB 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) To run to time be more frequent and not be overcrowded in the morning L4 7XB 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Run the bus on time and at regular intervals. Make it easier fir the bus to get in and out of town. Generally provide a useable service L4 7XG 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Better bus services, more buses L4 8SX 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) Buses on time L4 9SL 26 (Liverpool Circular) None L4 9XT More reliable L5 1XP 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) I get the bus early in the morning and rarely do they keep to their arrival times. most days 2‐3 buses arrive at the stop at the same time. buses which arrive early don't wait to make up time which makes it difficult to plan when to get to the stop. most days I can wait for 20 minutes for a bus due every 5 L5 2QY Other service not listed if 26 and 27 used scotland road again L5 4SX 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) Being able to buy save always on the bus. Or pay as you go with a daily cap on the card L5 5EN 26 (Liverpool Circular) More frequent and reliable services. Very often multiple buses arrive at the same time, with a long wait for one to turn up. If bus drivers knew they were so close behind a delayed service and were able to readjust to allow a more frequent service it would help. L5 6RN 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) More 19 buses which are double decker in peak hours. L5 6RY 19 (Liverpool to Kirkby) More buses at peak evening times. Many a time I have stood at Queen's Square and seen loads of 20's and 21's stop. The number of 19's against these buses seems disproportionate L5 7RL Cross town buses, on time L6 3BA 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) For the buses to be on time more often L6 3BD 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) 10A, a more regular service in the late evening due to amount of customers and long wait times after I finish work

L6 4AP 68A (Bootle to Aigburth) If it arrived on time L6 4DS 68 (Bootle to Aigburth) Regular running, not unexpected cancellations, on time, not late L6 4DT 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Faster journey times L6 5AQ 14A (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) Stablised Services at regular intervals, less gaps. Busses from Queens Square to L1 Clearly marked. L6 6AG 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) 17s can run irregular.queen sq bus station gets congested at times. Not enough space on buses for prams & shopping trollies L7 3QH 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) More reliability, better service to broadgreen L7 6AF 201 (Liverpool to Speke) Being able to buy a Saveaway on the bus. Being able to buy a Saveaway online. Being able to buy a Saveaway more than one day in advance. Being able to buy a Saveaway in my local newsagent (stopped selling them as the system was unreliable). More frequent services. Acceptance of other operator day tickets on all buses.

L7 8UU 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) Services 7,8,10,10a,10b ‐ these services are always very busy and must remain. L8 0PY 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) The buses should follow the timetables (always late or early). Electronic timetables at the bus stop showing when the next bus will arrive and more frequent buses (76 is every 30 minutes, it takes to long waiting there).

L8 0RJ 86 (Liverpool to Garston) Long waits on smithdown L8 0SX 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) More frequent services and double deckers for 80/80A, especially in the morning due to the large number of schools in the area. There are frequently 10+ minute delays on services between 8am and 9am. Conversely, drivers often stop on Catherine Street/Myrtle Street for considerable periods of time when they are early.

L8 2SA If they ran to any sort of timetable when leaving the L1 bus station. You can get 3 buses leaving within a couple of minutes of each other. L8 2UW 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Everything is fine L8 3SX 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Better Live Information 26/27 extended via Ullet Rd, Belvedre, Devonshire Rd. Brand new bus station @ L1 (Knocking down Mersey Police HQ) Better evening service and connection between 5 ‐ 7 pm More X services (x10, x7) get customers to destinations faster 3‐4 mins max stay at Queens Square bus station River buses to stop on Victoria street rather than sir Thomas as two junctions (Queens Square) crosshall st cant cope with traffic volume. Traffic lights need to be better timed to improve bus flow / traffic L8 6RG 82A (Liverpool to Halton) On time bus service. More buses. Bus is always late and unreliable. Making connection bus impossible to catch

L8 6RG C4 (Dingle Circular) Wifi. Later service L8 6RQ C5 (Dingle Circular) More frequent L8 6TW 82A (Liverpool to Halton) Improved frequency of 82A. Allowing the 500 to stop on time Sefton Street stretch. Routing the X1 o to the Sefton Street stretch. L8 7LF C5 (Dingle Circular) Cheaper fares L8 9ZA C4 (Dingle Circular) More funding for bus services will it affect bus services L9 1AW 86C (Liverpool Circular) More double decker buses for the 86C with WiFi, more frequent and a later service from Hope Uni L9 1BU 81 (Bootle to Speke) More leg room and more buses at end of school day L9 1BW 81 (Bootle to Speke) Rice Lane bus services into Liverpool City Centre and return very unreliable making them infrequent, particularly on Sunday and in the evenings after 6pm (20 and 21 in particular going into Liverpool) L9 1ER 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) 20/21 ‐ better punctuality ‐ The 20 and the 21 are both meant to be every 10 minutes, but on some occasions I've ended up waiting 15 minutes and two buses come along at the same time. L9 8DW 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) No 20/21, in rush how, coming home more buses put on and put more on in morning, often people on route bus goes past as full, especialy on the 21 people getting on in London Road, bus sails past them. Also these buses are quite busy in morning, sometimes by time get to County Road, L4 people cant get on, or have to stand up.

L9 9HQ 62 (Bootle to Allerton) I use busses all the time as I do not drive PR9 9GE Other service not listed none it fine 10 (Liverpool to St Helens) Removal of The 9:30am rule so Pensioners can use the buses throughout Merseyside without any restrictions on their travels 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) More frequent number 10 buses ‐ put them on as frequently as the 10a. Also, please encourage the Arriva/Stagecoaches to accept each other's monthly tickets ‐ as good as it is that they accept weekly and day tickets, for people like me that budget monthly passes, it would be so much easier if they could both just accept the month tickets as well. I can't understand why they don't already. It can sometimes take 45minutes + to get out of Liverpool and a good percentage of early passengers are only going as far as Kensington. Could either a) a circular bus to Kensington be put on for these people allowing our bus the space and time to get out of Liverpool quicker or b) a more express service to St Helens be run ‐ e.g. one that cuts out Kensington and goes straight through to Prescot / St Helens. There is demand for this service! It would cut the commuting time down and reduce people using their cars. This is really important if St Helens is to be included as a part of this new 'city region'.

10A (Liverpool to St Helens) Bus service in my area are regularly reviewed and changed 10A (Liverpool to St Helens) Bulldoze a lot of traffic lights to reduce road congeation and enable faster bus services (applies to all services)

139 (Liverpool to Prescot) Have to wait sometimes for an hour and always get put though to comfy bus but they never answer phone and tell me to get another bus however don't care I have sometimes to wait an hour please make the service more regular . I met a student who also dependent on this bus and it never turns up that she has to get it we an hour early to be on time. Please make more regular or another service that goes up past oxford street more often

139 (Liverpool to Prescot) A service should be extended into Redrow Estate off Thomas Lane. Bus stops have been installed recently but have never been used.even though that past of the estate has been fully occupied during the past two years. Seeing that Redrow has paid Merseytravel £600,000 to create this route, I often wonder what Merseytravel is doing with the money. 139 (Liverpool to St Helens) 139. More regular service . Notice if the bus is late. Very unreliable. 139 (Liverpool to St Helens) 139 bus more often or a bus that takes up mount pleasant and oxford road more often. Depend on this service to get to education and often late or the service doesn't arrive and is only every 30 min 14 (Liverpool to Croxteth) improve frequency 14 (Liverpool to Widnes) I would like to see less buses use Queen Square, there is too many of them that is causing traffic jams from the stop I get on from. Then there is the traffic flow getting out of the city centre through Lime St that is a pain and very stressful. Also maybe having CPSOs around the Queen Square bus stops at peak times would help passengers feel more safer when we have to put up with drunk and drug dealers/users getting on the buses. How come they are not stopped from getting on the bus? 14 (Liverpool to Widnes) Reinstate bus lanes. Better bus priority at junctions. Discourage car use. 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Improved frequency, Improved route Liverpool>Huyton around Royal Hospital 15 (Liverpool to Huyton) Please reinstate the full journey for this service (which still happens on a Sunday). To walk from the top of Dale street to Cunard building is too much, especially in bad weather. To go home I have to get a bus to queen square and often miss linking up with the 15, due to the volume of buses 17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) The changing of the drivers in Lower Lane as people who have appointments in Aintree Hospital have been made late and it would be better if they changed at the start instead as Aintree Hospital have a new bus stop inside the hospital grounds which is nearer for the patients to go to and it's the 17 Stagecoach that arrives.

17 (Liverpool to Kirkby Ind Est) 17 ‐ improve punctuality & reliability. An app that shows where your bus is would be great!! 174 (Belle Vale to Allerton) more frequent 78 link with hospital. A bus from Belle Vale to hospitals ‐ 2 or 3 buses currently. 18 (Liverpool Circular) REAL TIME INFO at TJs very confusing also croxteth park estate confusing if you don't know what side of rd to get bus out of park to town 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) higher frequency 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) 215,every half hour instead of every hour 20 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Tower Hill) better frequency over weekends Sunday mainly. 21 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Northwood) faster journey times on the 300 and 310 21 (Liverpool to Kirkby ‐ Northwood) Buses to run more frequently or be on time 27 (Liverpool Circular) Keep to time 310 (Liverpool to Skelmersdale) Better timetable offering, earlier starts. better early morning or late evening frequency 310 (Liverpool to Skelmersdale) Start earlier on a sunday 47 (Liverpool to Southport) to l one 47 (Liverpool to Southport) ensure the buses stick to timetable where possible 47 (Liverpool to Southport) 47 more direct to Liverpool to make journey shorter 500 (Liverpool to Speke ‐ Airport) Stop messing about with the timetable and the route. The new route to South Parkway is a complete waste of time and bus resource ‐ virtually every day the 500 at 4.06 at Estuary park turns up along with an 86a. Customers who live outside of Merseyside have a better bus service from the airport than people who don't live on a train route. Wirral is the worst served of all. It is an appalling journey in terms of time from Tranmere to Liverpool Airport ‐ we have an office in Manchester and I can get there quicker than Speke on the bus. Merseytravel's strapline of 'connected travel' is just a lie ‐ those executives need to get out of the Mann Island office and try some of the journeys real commuters have to do. Completely disconnected journey from Liverpool One and the bus route for the 472 through the centre of Liverpool is just one big traffic jam into the old tunnel at this time of year. Not one bus service goes from Wirral to Liverpool airport ‐ that is ludicrous ‐ given the amount of businesses that have moved out here. My company relocated 11 years ago and the service has dereriorated significantly. Merseytravel has failed to support commuters travelling to work and has failed to get to grips with the public transport needs of commuters whose companies are relocating to business parks outside of the city centre. Terrible service, expensive and over‐ complicated ticketing system and no understanding from public transport planners. No wonder Liverpool city centre is a congestion nightmare ‐ and next year's train works will only make thing much, much worse.

52A (Liverpool to Netherton) Double deckers 52A (Liverpool to Netherton) This runs quite frequently and the fleet has been upgraded so no changes required at the moment 53 (Liverpool to Crosby) 53 on a 5 min frequency 54 (Liverpool to Thornton) Evening service and rti at stops 54 (Liverpool to Thornton) 54, more often, especially evening peak, it is well used, it's quick from town, but can be unreliable , and runs so late , it feels more like once an hour instead of every 30mins. I already use the bus regularly, but traveling from Liverpool to bootle, it would help if all the buses went from same stop, why do some 52, 54, 55 go from st Thomas street, but 53, 47, X2, 300 go from nearby stops in queens square, it means there are half the number of buses on the way home from work, whereas in the morning I can get all these buses from the same stop in bootle? Why do the 53 run by arriva and stagecoach run together on Sunday's? It would be a better service if they were spread out across the hour? 55 (Liverpool to Old Roan) Bootle ‐ Liverpool services: (1) regular frequency in evenings/ Sundays: services as currently scheduled 'bunch' leaving large gaps and so discouraging walk‐up custom (2) all Bootle services to go from single point in Liverpool: at the moment one has to choose between Queen Square (53/300/47/X2) or Sir Thomas Street (52/A, 54, 55, 56 etc). Again, not too easy for a walk up customer especially in evenings / Saturdays when services have thinned out

60 (Bootle to Aigburth) All 61A (Huyton to Runcorn) More buses in the hour as this is the only bus on my route 75 (Liverpool to Halewood) Having a bus which links Speke and Halewood 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) Reliability & more frequent service ‐ 76 only 1/2 hourly. Need 20 min frequency. 166 needed for interchange @ LSP

76 (Liverpool to Halewood) Increased frequency and more direct route. 76 (Liverpool to Halewood) Regular frequency 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) 78,76,75, 79 (Liverpool to Halewood) It's a busy route, buses are always full. The journey time to Halewood is longer than I'd like. 79C (Liverpool to Murdishaw) It would be excellent if there was a Solo or Walrus bus pass covering halton and Liverpool ‐ since the 79c service has been cut to every 30 minutes if I get out of work even 5 minutes late I have a 30 minute wait for the next one. It's annoying to see the 14a go past and be unable to get it as I'm limited to either an Arriva pass or a Halton pass. The Halton pass isn't ideal for getting to work with the times of the 14a in Runcorn and the Arriva one can lead to frustration of an evening! I used to live in Liverpool and I really miss my Solo and the options it gave me to get on any bus. Also annoying for my family when we go out in Liverpool as they all have to wait for an Arriva with me if we're travelling together ‐ they have Solo's and Walrus cards.

79C (Liverpool to Murdishaw) Increased frequency, wifi and USB charging on buses 82 (Liverpool to Speke) 82 ‐ Arriva should offer lower ticketing choices, child single on stagecoach is £1 to Liverpool and child single on Arriva is £1.10. Arriva don't offer USB charging meanwhile most Stagecoach services running new double decker have USB charging ‐ I often use Stagecoach and then change at Garton for Arriva service to Speke.

82 (Liverpool to Speke) usb + don't block spotify on the wifi. Incredibly frustrating. 82 (Liverpool to Speke) More regular 82 after 6pm 5 always running late 82 (Liverpool to Speke) A quicker service would encourage me to use 82 more (sometimes easier/quicker to use the train). A more reliable service would encourage me to use the 60 more. A quicker service would encourage me to use the 79 more ‐‐ often drive because quicker and more convenient. 82A (Liverpool to Halton) More frequent links to other bus routes newer buses with WiFi, reliability improved please 82A (Liverpool to Halton) 82a is unreliable, it comes into Liverpool One bus station then disappears! 82A (Liverpool to Halton) The 82a is a poor service, can't rely on it turning up on time. Need a greater frequency 86A (Liverpool to Speke/Airport) Stop using single decker buses on busy routes. C5 (Dingle Circular) More frequent service and a service that runs on time Other service not listed None ‐ essential for education purposes due to high car parking charges in the city centre. Other service not listed Make it so that the 20 and the 320 actually come when they are suppose to and not 20 minutes later or don't show up at all. Other service not listed better bus stops for stopping buses on whtechapel, better place to board cross‐river buses. Other service not listed 1 night bus should be 7 days need a bus even if just to liverpool every day Also i think either 1 or 2 and one of 471 or 472 should go down L1 instead of Sir Thomas Street as its a long walk Other service not listed If the X8 went to Liverpool One instead of terminating at Whitechapel. Cross City services like how the 10A goes across to Liverpool One, make it join to another route to south Liverpool meaning cross city trips and opens up opportunities to people. More express routes like upto Southport. Cross River agreement: Any day ticket which is valid between Birkenhead and Liverpool is vaild on any bus company. Saveway is no good as I am out of the area so I have to get a Stagecoach one but if I miss it in Birkenhead then i have to wait 20 mins when there is a bus every 2 minutes from Birkenhead to Liverpool. More express buses towards from Liverpool. X8 is regularly late. Routes 82/86 fixed. A bus every 3‐4 minutes is not viable Most of the buses run with about 10‐15 people on. They are useless. Make a better frequency and with other buses that run along the same section, try to redirect them or something. The buses just follow eachother endlessly and it is a joke of a service. Something needs sorting with it. Live departure screens at busy bus stops and bus stations. Current screens just say which bus is due next, it should say estimated arrival time and track the bus. Both Stagecoach and Arriva have their own versions of it, just link them together. Park and ride system. The frequency on some of the buses is mad so put a park and ride next to the route then people park and ride and no more buses needed as they already have a 3 minute frequency!

Other service not listed more modern buses Other service not listed More frequent services, real time information at bus stops, better connections with other bus services and with train/ferry, frequent ferry services from Woodside to Liverpool. Other service not listed Better service for Brunswick Park & Trampoline Centre Other service not listed better connections between lines ‐ difficult to change from cross‐river services to other buses. X1 (Liverpool to Runcorn) None X1 (Liverpool to Runcorn) Need to increase the frequency on theX1 & reliability. No service on a Sunday. X1 (Liverpool to Runcorn) 14b takes 2 hours to get from Liverpool to Halton, ridiculous! 82a is smelly! X1 (Liverpool to Runcorn) X1 back to old route X1 (Liverpool to Runcorn) X1 more frequently X2 (Liverpool to Preston) More joined up service and timetable for my particular routes. Also a more joined up, regular and cost effective service to local train stations would also allow me to make better use of my TRIO pass and reduce my car usage with all the added benefits of that for both me and the environment. Frequency, directness to be on time, to customer when running to the bus or showing them to stop. to clean after school pupils are back at school. Bus ticket is expensive, it should be available for 1 hour to get a connection. Bus pass, weekly, monthly are expensive, price increase every year and no more improvement Drivers ignore you, pass to the red traffic light, some are too fast Some drivers are not really friendly To put on a service between from Huyton down to Edge Lane via Bowring Park Road (the old No. 6 service)
