By car: The teams will be picked up by bus at one of the 2 international airports, at the agreed time to go to Hammamet (chargeable transport). The teams who prefer to use their own vehicle to travel by road in the following directions: Either from Tunis-Carthage International Airport (This route includes tolls) Take highway A1 and leave Boulevard du Leader Yesser Arafet and N9 (5 minutes = 3.3 km) Continue on the A1 highway towards Hammamet. The city of Hammamet is a Tunisian city located northeast, on the southeast coast (الح مّامات : Hammamet (in Arabic of Cape Bon, about sixty kilometers south of Tunis Capital. It is one of the main seaside resorts in Tunisia. Renowned since the second half of the XXth century, the city has long beaches along the Gulf bearing its name. The nucleus of Hammamet is made up of its medina. To the west is the kasbah and, to the north, the Place des Martyrs where there is a monument resembling the Eiffel Tower and which recalls the martyrs of the War of Independence. The tourist area is divided, from the center, into two sections. The smallest and oldest (Hammamet Nord) stretches towards Nabeul and the largest and most recent (Yasmine Hammamet), located a few kilometers to the west, stretches towards Bouficha. Three kilometers from the center is a cultural center which hosts the Hammamet International Festival every summer. Several golf courses are close to the town. REGISTRATION FEES FOR DELEGATIONS The team will be made up of 5 competitors and a manager. Fees for competitor (belonging to a team or individually) = 800 € per person. Fees for captain and reserve = 700 € per person. Teams are authorized to participate in the competition with 5 competitors: 800 € x 05 = 4000 €. COST PER TEAM = 4700 €. Included in the participation fees: a. Hotel accommodation in a double room with full board (breakfast, lunch or packed lunch and dinner) starting with dinner on Saturday, December 11, 2021 and ending with breakfast on Saturday, December 18, 2021. b. Transportation to and from competition venues. c. Round-trip transportation for the opening ceremony and parade (street parade). d. The closing ceremony gala dinner. e. Fishing baits for the 05 competitors (official training and 04 days of fishing) - For the captain and the reserve: the participation fee is 700 € per person including the services a, b, c, and d above. - For accompanying persons: the costs are 400 € per person including the services a, b, c and d above. - The price for an additional gala dinner at the closing ceremony is 60.00 € per person. - The price of return airport-hotel transport is € 60.00 per person (to be reserved before the delegation arrives in Tunisia). - The price of the hotel-training area (unofficial) round trip is € 20.00 per person (minimum 04 people and to be reserved 48 hours in advance). We also remind you that during the General Assembly of FIPS-M on May 3, 2019 some regulations were modified or adapted: “In order to allow participation in small federations, which for lack of members cannot present an entire national team, the Assembly decided to accept the individual participation of competitors. The maximum number of individual participants allowed will be less than the maximum number of a team. These individual fishermen count for the individual classification but not for the classification by nation or by team." On February 17, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed an Japanese ODA loan agreement with the Société Tunisie Autoroutes (STA) to provide a of up to 15.084 billion yen for assistance for the Gabes-Medenine Trans-Maghrebin Corridor Construction Project and with the Société Nationale d'Exploitation et de Distribution des Eaux (SONEDE) to provide a Japanese ODA loan of up to 6.094 billion yen for the Local Cities Water Supply Network Improvement Project. 2. Based on the 11th Five-Year Socioeconomic Development Plan (2007 to 2011), Tunisia is aiming for increased per capita income and a lower unemployment rate, an improved Human Development Index, assistance for the middle class and a reduction in poverty as a governmental development strategy. They have taken measures to increase employment, expand investment and assist business start-ups, strengthen competition and develop balanced economic development. After the revolution of January 2011, the Tunisian Constituent Assembly election was held in October of the same year. The new government was launched in December of that year, and is now adressing important issues such as correcting regional income disparities, creating employment and expanding investment.
