Land identified in an agreed council settlement strategy can be considered for urban or rural residential rezoning even 6755000 if it is mapped as significant farmland. The council strategy 6755000 must have been agreed to between December 1994 and December 2004 (or placed on public exhibition by the end of 2004 and subsequently approved) under clauses 20 or 38 of the North Coast Regional Environmental Plan. Land identified in a settlement strategy is not automatically approved for development; further investigations occur as part of the rezoning process. Agreed strategies can be seen at council offices. 465000 470000 475000 480000 485000 490000 495000 500000 505000 510000 LEGEND Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 Key to River Catchment Boundaries Key to Local Government Areas Key to Adjoining Maps Notations ´ and Soil Landscape Data Sources State Significant Farmland Project undertaken jointly by the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources (DIPNR), and the Department of Primary Scale 1:100 000 Regionally Significant Farmland Industries (DPI). 0 1 2 3 4 5 Km Significant Non-Contiguous Farmland Tweed Tweed This policy map has been derived from soil landscape data which is NORTHERN RIVERS Other Rural Land accurate to +/- 100 m.
