Application Form: Prescribed application form may be downloaded from the G.U. website www.gauhati.ac.in. 4. Application Fees & Last date: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/ (in case of SC, ST Rs. 500/-) Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI Branch, G.U. as an application fee for the post. Completed application in prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach "The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014", Latest by 3rd October, 2021. 5. The name of the posts & Department must be written on the envelope of the application. 6. In all cases two copies of application forms with all testimonials (self attested) need to be submitted. 7. Any changes/amendments/updates shall be posted in the University website: www.gauhati.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check the University website for such updates. 8. Those who are willing to apply for more than one post, they must submit separate application form with separate application fees. 9. Candidates belonging to SC/ST(PST(HYOBC/EWS/PWD category should submit prescribed certificate as per the pro forma of the Government of Assam. 10. For candidate who will be applying for the post of Professor/Associate Professor filling up the 1QAC format is mandatory to be attached with the application failing which such application(s) will be rejected. 11. Those in employment should submit their application through proper channel or submit the NOC from the concerned authority along with the application. This is mandatory failing which they will not be called for interview if eligible. 12. Mere fulfilment of qualification will not entitle an applicant for inviting to the interview. In case of large number of applicants against one post, the University reserves the right for short listing of applicants to be called for interview, even if eligible and shortlisted. 13. Reservation policy of University will be applicable. 14. The University reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend/withdraw the shall be recruitment process without assigning any reason. The University is located at Napaam, about 15 km east of Tezpur town in the Sonitpur District of Assam. The serene and green University Campus of about 262 acres provides an excellent ambience including modern infrastructure conducive for learning and dedicated research. The academic programmes, offered in the University, have a distinct focus on Science, Technology, Management, Humanities, and Social Sciences, reflecting the objectives of the University. At present, the University offers a number of Programmes of Under-Graduate Degree/Diploma/Certificate, Integrated Programmes, Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in various Disciplines.
