Dear reader, WARNING…WARNING, according to many in the religious world today all one has to do is to believe, and let Christ in their hearts to be saved. “You don’t have to suffer, because he has already suffered for us; pray this prayer, calling on the name of ; in Christ’s name then you are saved by GRACE only.” Some even say “we are all God’s children”. This all sounds good and convenient, but this is not what God said through Christ and his apostles. There are those that teach baptism, but hardly any teach suffering. Many believe this private interpretation of man. Private interpretations are dangerous teachings (2Pet.1:14-21); it leads to error, thereby putting souls in jeopardy. Think about it, if all it took was belief then DEVILS would be in HEAVEN, “James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” Not only do devils believe, but they do more than us in that they tremble. Does anyone believe that DEVILS will be in heaven, of course NOT! What devils will not do is suffer, suffer to obey; disobedience is what makes them and us DEVILS. According to scripture, being disobedient and/or rebellious to the APOSTLES’ WORD, DOCTRINE, and COMMANDS is what will keep the devils and us out of HEAVEN and into HELL, thereby NOT being God’s children (Matt.28:16-20; John17:14-21; Acts2:41-42; 1Cor.11:1-3; 2Pet.1:14-21; 2Pet.3:1-2; 1John4:5-6). Think about it, if we don’t hear God’s Son as God has commanded (Matt.17:1-8), and thereby hearing him through his apostles as Jesus has instructed (Matt.28:16-20; :14-21), not following their commands and instruction, it is impossible to be a child of God, a Christian. Then, that would make one be the child of the small “g”, the god of this world, the devil; loving his things, but saying we are Christians (Luke4:1-8; John8:42-47; 2Cor.4:1-5; 2Cor.11:13-15; Eph.2:1-2; and 6:11-13; Rev.12:9 and 13:6-9). We believe that definitions and the preponderance of scripture, which is (Having superior weight, force, importance, or influence of scripture) on any topic, will allow scripture to interpret scripture, and should allow a better chance of understanding the topic. Jesus said how we error “Matt. 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”

THE STUDY: NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD

Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (KJV)

Matt 7:21 ... NOT every one that saith unto me… Ref. Scriptures:

Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore (1)shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (KJV)

Definitions: (1)shall confess-3670 homologeo (hom-ol-og-eh'-o); from a compound of the base of 3674 and 3056; to assent, i.e. covenant, acknowledge: KJV-- con- (pro-) fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise, to say the same thing as another, that is, to agree with, to assent, to concede, not to refuse, not to deny. (Christians must do all these things mentioned in the definition, by our actions, by our lifestyles, not just by word of mouth, we must be doers of the one that we have confessed cause, “talk is cheap”!!)

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, (1)let him deny himself, and take up his (2)cross daily, and (3)follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (KJV)

Definition: (1)let him deny himself-720 arneomai; to contradict, i.e. disavow, reject, abnegate: KJV-- deny, refuse, to disregard one's own interests, to act entirely unlike himself …(2)cross daily-4716 stauros (stow-ros'); (specifically) a pole or cross (as an instrument of capital punishment); figuratively, exposure to death, i.e. self-denial; by implication, the atonement of Christ: KJV-- cross….(3)follow me- 190 akoloutheo (ak-ol-oo-theh'-o); from 1 (as a particle of union) and keleuthos (a road); properly, to be in the same way with, to follow one who precedes, i.e. to join one as a disciple, become or be his disciple: KJV-- join him as his attendant, accompany him, to side with his party

Luke 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 (1)Strive to enter in at the (2)strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. (KJV)

Definition: (1)Strive-75 agonizomai (ag-o-nid'-zom-ahee); from 73; to struggle, literally (to compete for a prize), figuratively (to contend with an adversary), or genitive case (to endeavor to accomplish something): KJV-- labor fervently, to contend with adversaries, to fight, conflict, metaphorically, to struggle with difficulties and dangers, to endeavor with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something….(2)strait gate-4728 stenos (sten-os'); probably from the base of 2476; narrow (from obstacles standing close about): KJV—strait, to cause a person or a thing to keep his or its place, to uphold or sustain the authority or force of anything, to be of a steadfast mind, used of quality, one who does not hesitate, who does not waiver.

2 Tim 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. (KJV)

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (KJV)

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (KJV)

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (KJV)

Matt 7:21 ... shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…Ref. Scriptures:

Matt 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (KJV)

Matt 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (KJV)

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better

3

for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (KJV)

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (KJV)

Acts 14:21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, 22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. (KJV)

1 Cor 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither (1)fornicators, nor (2)idolaters, nor (3)adulterers, nor (4)effeminate, nor (5)abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor (6)covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV)

Definitions: (1)neither fornicators-4205 pornos- a man who prostitutes his body to another's lust for hire, a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, a fornicator….(2)nor idolaters-1496 eidololatres-a worshiper of false gods, a idolater, used of any one even Christian, participating in any way in the worship of the heathen, a covetous man as a worshiper of Mammon….(3)nor adulterers 3432 moichos (moy-khos'); perhaps a primary word; a (male) paramour; figuratively, apostate: KJV-- adulterer….(4)nor effeminate-3120 malakos-soft, soft to the touch, metaphorically, in a bad sense: effeminate: used of a catamite, used of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man, used of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness, used of a male prostitute….(5)nor abusers of themselves with mankind-733 arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace);from 730 and 2845; a sodomite: KJV-- abuser of (that defileself) with mankind, one who lies with a male as with a female, a sodomite, a homosexual….(6)nor covetous-4123 pleonektes (pleh-on-ek'-tace); from 4119 and 2192; holding (desiring) more, i.e. eager for gain (avaricious, hence a defrauder): KJV—covetous, greedy of gain.

1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (KJV)

Phil 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) (KJV)

Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (KJV)

Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, (1)let us hold fast (2)our profession.

4

Definitions: (1)let us hold fast-2902 krateo (krat-eh'-o);from 2904; to use strength, i.e. seize or retain (literally or figuratively), 1) to have power, to be powerful, b) to hold fast, that is, not discard or let go, to keep carefully and faithfully: KJV-- keep, obtain, retain….(2)our profession-3671 homologia (hom-ol- og-ee'-ah); from the same as 3670; to assent, i.e. covenant, acknowledgment, a) subjectively: whom we profess to be ours b) objectively: profession [confession] that is, what one professes [confesses].

Heb 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. 6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. (God His Father, did hear him and saved him from death, in that he raised him from the dead: Acts 3:13-15 “Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.” “Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,”)

1 Pet 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the (1)righteous (2)scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (KJV)

Definitions: (1)righteous-1342 dikaios-righteous, observing divine laws, in a wide sense, upright, righteous, virtuous, keeping the commands of God, used of him whose way of thinking, feeling, and acting is wholly conformed to the will of God, approved by or acceptable by God… (2)scarcely be saved- 3433 molis (mol'-is); probably by var. for 3425; with difficulty: KJV-- hardly, scarcely, with much work, not easily, that is, very rarely.

Matt 7:21 ... but he that doeth the will of…Ref. Scriptures:

Matt 12:46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. CHAPTER 13:1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.(KJV)

Let’s read and listen to God as He authorizes His Son as the path to believe on Him, thereby revealing to us in this case, His will: Matt 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. 7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. 8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. (KJV)

5

Now let’s read and listen to Jesus, the one that God authorized: :35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

John 7:14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Again let’s read and listen to Jesus as he authorized and verified his apostles, as the path to believe on him, thereby believing on God: Matt 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into , into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)

Before Jesus brought about the in his blood on the cross (Matt.26:28; Mark14:24; Luke22:20 and 1Cor.11:25), and in Luke chapter 11 verses 1-4, Jesus taught his disciples during that time: how to pray, which many call “the Lord’s prayer”. He was only teaching his disciples how to pray. But in John chapter 17, verses 1-26, Jesus literally prayed to his Father for his glorification, leaving flesh and returning to a spiritual being, leaving this sinful earth and returning home to Heaven. He also prayed not for the world (verse 9) but for his disciples (apostles) whom he gave the word, and they kept it (verse 6), the ones that he kept while here on earth (verse 12), the ones the world hated (verse 14). He also prayed for those of us who will believe on him through their, the apostles’ word (verse 20), that we all may be one even as God the Father and his Son is one, and that the world may know that God sent his Son (verses 21-26). Now, let’s read and listen to parts of the Lord’s prayer to his Father in heaven:

John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. (KJV)

John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. (KJV)

John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in

6

themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. (KJV)

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (KJV)

Acts 1:1-4 1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from , but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. (KJV)

Acts 2:41-42 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (KJV) Matt 7:21 ... but he that doeth the will of…Cont. Ref. Scriptures:

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living (1)sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)

Definition: (1)living sacrifice-2378 thusia (thoo-see'-ah);from 2380; sacrifice (the act or the victim, literally or figuratively): KJV-- sacrifice…2380 thuo (thoo'-o); a primary verb; properly, to rush (breathe hard, blow, smoke), i.e. (by implication) to sacrifice (properly, by fire, but genitive case); by extension to immolate (slaughter for any purpose): KJV-- kill, sacrifice, slay.

Rom 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. (1)Mind not (2)high things, but (3)condescend to men of (4)low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 1 Pet 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. (KJV)

1 Pet 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. After reading the preceding scriptures, our hope is that we all realize somewhat of whom God is, and how He thinks, and that we recognize the consequences of not being His children. So to answer the question, are we all God’s children, will all that say “Lord, Lord” enter into heaven? According to scripture, absolutely not. We must all strive to do God’s will, by obeying his Son through the words of the apostles. Now let’s read and listen to the apostle Paul as he reminded the church, of and by Christ, in Ephesus, on how Christians must continue to believe in order to be a child of God: “Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,” “Phil 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. 17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.” Here the apostle Paul, as some attribute to, reminds us that to be followers of God’s Son, Christ (Christians), suffering to obey him, will make us a child of God; thereby reaping eternal salvation, let’s read and listen: “Heb 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.” “Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” Here the apostle Peter reminds Christians who they are to be mindful of, and of whom we are to receive commandments. He also warns us of the false teachers (scoffers), that will come in these last days, let’s read and listen:“2 Pet 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,” Here the apostle John reminds Christians why it is so important to hear them, and all that choose not to hear them, the apostles, are not of God, again let’s read and listen: “I Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” “I Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”

According to God through Christ and his apostles (Matt.17:1-8; John17:14 and 20; Acts2:41-42), the terms Christian and or Christianity are the must miss-used, miss-applied, miss-understood and abused terms on earth!

Dear readers remember as always, the purpose of these articles is to seek the TRUTH according to THE WORD, thereby exposing ERROR, for the purpose of saving our souls. We believe this is best done by definitions and the PREPONDERANCE OF SCRIPTURES; which is having superior weight, force, importance, or influence of SCRIPTURE. Again we believe this allows SCRIPTURE to INTERPRET SCRIPTURE, thereby allowing a better understanding on that topic. Again, thank you so much for your interest in the WORD of TRUTH; GRACE and SALVATION; John 17:17-21; Acts 20:29-32; James1:21-25. After all it is our MAP to HEAVEN and away from HELL, and the continuance in it, is the ONLY thing that allows the man of God to be perfect, 2Tim.3:12-17!
