VISION & MISSION

To set highest standards of personalized, easily accessible and cost efective Medical care.

To run mobile dispensaries to serve villages around the historic city of Multan at their door steps.

To develop community awareness of their inherent strength and resources through discussions, seminars, social functions and publications.

To establish a Nursing School of the highest order to counter the dearth of professionally competent nurses in Pakistan.

To equip 500 bedded hospital with state-of-the-art medical equipment and the best result-oriented clinical laboratories.

To establish pickup points in diferent cities and areas closely linked with our state-of-the-art clinical laboratories.

Such pickup centers would be very useful for giving accurate and quick results at reasonable charges.

To ensure that the faculty is constantly kept abreast with international trends through exposure to international conferences and symposia, Continuing Medical Education programs, workshops etc., the benefts of which are imparted to the students enabling them to compete and perform on a global platform.

BACHELOR OF MEDICINE AND

BACHELOR OF SURGERY (MBBS)

Curriculum at Bakhtawar Amin Medical & Dental College conforms to the regulations and recommendations of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. In addition, courses tend to emphasize the development of communication, information technology and interpersonal and management skills.

Medicine and surgery courses are very demanding. Faculty at Bakhtawar Amin helps students to gradually develop their technical skills on a base of academic teaching about the biology of the human body. Bakhtawar Amin Medical College endeavors to provide facilities to its students to be the best in their felds.

This academic work continues throughout the course, but after the second-year, students will also start developing their clinical medical skills under supervision of the faculty and consultants. Work typically begins in the teaching hospital, but Bakhtawar Amin encourages periods spent in community practices.

Career prospects for most medical students would be to start general practice. A minority will go on to hospital

medical service, community medical practice and academics.

We prepare students to understand and recognize conditions in psychologically, medically or physically compromised patients, societal, ethical and cultural values, community infuences and trends that afect Medical

I bow my head in gratitude to the Almighty who has given us the opportunity and the means

through the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust to bring a life changing improvement in the lives of children born with cleft lip, poor families with the sole breadwinner aficted with Hepatitis C and

families who can least aford treatment whose members fall victim to deadly diseases which require

expensive treatment.

The hospital established by the Bakhtawar Amin Medical Trust in 2008 has now grown into a modern 500 bed teaching hospital with a focus on providing frst class health care to those in need,

either free or at afordable cost.

None of these developments would have been possible without the unfinching support of the

Trustees and donors. I feel privileged to place on record my deepest appreciation and gratitude to them.
