There is a tiny meadow area, which attracts a surprising variety of butterflies throughout the summer. In the the ponds provide a popular habitat for frogs, newts and other wildlife. To celebrate the Millennium we redesigned the narrow strip of garden at the south west of our plot, including natural hurdle fencing and trained fruit trees. We also have a living willow seat, and a trained grapevine. The entire garden is a place of relaxation and entertainment for us, and our visitors. We have plenty of seating, so that all areas can be appreciated in a leisurely way. We enjoy propagating many of our own plants, and there are always many for sale on 'Open Days'.
