CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF JAZZ Jazz 91.9 WCLK is pleased to announce the inaugural Jazz Music Awards (JMA) presented by WCLK and produced by 3815 Media. The JMA is a dynamic presentation that recognizes the iconic spirit of Jazz music by shining a spotlight on Contemporary and Mainstream Jazz musicians who continue to make a mark on the music and the industry.

The inaugural celebration takes place over a star-studded weekend filled with celebrities and iconic Jazz figures in , Georgia, October 22 through 23. The events will take place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, Clark Atlanta University and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

The star studded weekend will include a series of Jazz Music Awards master classes held on the historic campus of Clark Atlanta University. The classes will include interactive sessions from world-renowned experts in the field of Jazz. The classes will also feature small group workshops facilitated by leading practitioners in the music and performing arts industries. The Jazz Music Awards Gala will take place at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The gala will bring together highly notable Jazz masters and a community of iconic musicians for the premier black tie affair.

The Jazz 91.9 WCLK Save a Life Campaign continues with participation in the DeKalb County COVID-19 testing and vaccination initiative. The health and wellness initiative grants DeKalb County residents ages 12 and older free COVID-19 testing. All persons who receive a vaccination will receive a $100 prepaid debit card while supplies last. At a recent testing and vaccination engagement, Jazz 91.9 WCLK was on-hand to handout station tee shirts to everyone who received a vaccination.
