Calling all QCYC Captains! Please join us in spreading Holiday Cheer by volunteering for the Seafair Holiday Cruise Sunday, December 4, 2016; Volunteer Orientation Meeting at 12:30; Volunteer Dinner approximately 5:30.

For this fun-filled event individual skippers volunteer their boats to take adults with developmental disabilities and their chaperones for a boat ride. Our guests receive a special treat bag, a chat and photo with Santa, and a visit with the Seafair clowns. WE NEED MANY VOLUNTEERS FOR A SUCCESSFUL EVENT, including:  Skippers: The skipper decides how many passengers s/he can accommodate and picks them up either at their slip at the main station or in the “U.”

 Dock Elves: Dock elves greet our guests when they arrive, give them their life jacket and snack bag, deliver them to their boat, and assist them when they return.

 Santas: Santa receives calls at the main station on his cell phone from our guests during their boat ride and hears their wish list!

 Kitchen Help: We provide a simple meal for all volunteers after the event, and need kitchen and clean-up help in the grand style of all QCYC events!
