DRAFT APPENDIX 3, 2015 Yellow-billed Cuckoo . Yellow-billed Cuckoo habitat photos from Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California. Most are examples of multi-layered riparian vegetation, with riparian canopy trees (at least a few within the patch) and at least one layer of understory vegetation. There are also several images of mesquite and/or hackberry bosque, primarily on the San Pedro River in southeastern Arizona adjacent to cottonwood-willow. Also shown are several photos of dense young riparian cottonwood/willow vegetation. All photos are of high quality habitat unless noted otherwise.
